The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has warned members of his church to desist from using his pictures and that of his wife Foluke on souvenirs for sale. According to him he is not God and can never share in God's glory. The clergyman gave the warning on Friday December 7th at the ongoing annual Holy Ghost Congress of the church holding at the Redemption Camp Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. He said it had come to his notice that some members of his church have started seeing him as God that they use his photos and that of his wife on any of their materials. He appealed to them to stop it as he does not want to incur the wrath of God“It has been brought to my notice that people are using my picture and that of my wife on key holders, calendars, books and other souvenirs. This is wrong and anyone found with such materials should be arrested and reported to the police. I am not God. I did not send them. I have nothing to do with those materials. I am an ordinary man of God. God will never share his glory with any man. I am not ready to die. Devil, I am not ready to go.If at any time, God is sensing that a man is trying to share his glory, the man is dead. If you find anyone selling anything whatsoever with my picture or my wife’s, report them to the police immediately.” he said On why he was forced to publicly call them to order, the clergyman said that recently a woman bought a key holder with his picture and his wife’s inscribed on it and gave it to her child and the child began to eat the key holder and in no time, the picture pasted on the key holder removed and surprisingly what they found was the picture of another tele evangelist, Prophet T. B Joshua.“I know you all know what that means. Please stop and cooperate,” he pleaded. http://3stn.com.ng/stop-using-my-pictures-on-sourvenirs-i-am-not-god-pastor-adeboye-tells-his-members/ |

7 The most effective and the simplest moves: Grabbing the wrist is one of the best moves that will make any attacker drop to his knees. Grab his middle and index finger with one hand and his little ring finger with the other and start bending the wrist forward. If you can`t do that, than go for his Adam`s apple with your fist or with a finger between the collarbones. https://www.fempositive.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/2-3.jpg |
6 If you are grabbed from behind Attackers tend to come from the back because this is the easiest way to hold their victim down. In order to set yourself free, bend back and try to hit your attacker with the back of your head. Even if you fail this will make him put one of his legs forward, which will enable you to bend down grab that leg and pull it with. He will lose his balance for sure. https://www.fempositive.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/7.jpg
|
5 If you find yourself pushed against the wall Attackers often try to corner their victims by pushing them against a wall. If you find yourself in this situation, remember the most valuable places from the first picture above and hit the one you can. In case both of the attacker`s arms are up extend your palm and hit him in the armpit. Your head can be very effective, so squat a little if needed to be lower that the attacker and jump up as explosive as you can and aim for his jaw. We hope that you`ll never have to use these moves, but if you find yourself in a threatening situation, now you know what to do!

2 If you are grabbed from the front If you are attacked from the front and not able to lift your hands, do the following: move your hands forward and make a fist in front of your pelvis. By doing this you will create enough space between you and the attacker. After that, hit him with your forehead directly in the nose. This will make him move away so you`ll have enough room to hit him in the groin with your knee.
|
am looking for who I will practice these on You have to remember that the most effective moves are aimed at these vulnerable areas: eyes, nose, chest, throat, knees and groin. https://www.fempositive.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/1-3.jpg https://www.fempositive.com/7-effective-self-defense-techniques-every-woman-know/ 1 How to free your hands Just remember the “rule of thumb,” rotate your arm to the side of his thumb and you can easily escape a stronghold. If he keeps holding on to your arm rotate your wrist toward the thumb and when your arm is under the attacker`s pull it as fast and as strong as you can.

22-year old Nigerian man and IPOB member, Ejiblinks Ofoegbu has narrated how his 42-year old Chinese lover broke his heart which sent him into depression. According to him, 'she suddenly woke up one day and simply said she couldn’t be mine. Her family wouldn’t approve of it. Our love wasn’t enough; am from Nigeria, and she’s a Chinese; am 22 and she’s 42. She deactivated her Facebook and WhatsApp accounts', https://3stn.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/5c0b2946b3b43.jpg See the full story below... When she came into Nigeria from China for a Business transaction, she knew nobody here, she just came to import goods, sell and make some real cash. Luckily for her, she met me and asked for help. I offered her help, gave her room to sleep in, and above all, protected her interest in a country full of bad guys looking for who to dupe. She told me she is starting to fall for me, because of my humanitarian kind gesture towards her. I was 22 and she was 42, I knew age wasn't a big deal. Fast forward to 2 months later, we started getting along as married couple. When she was about to leave, she left some goods worth $80k for me to sell and transfer the proceeds back to her in China. That wasn't my problem, my problem was her because staying with her makes my life worth living. Within 3 weeks, I sold all the goods because am very good in business. I made a total of $140k out of the $80k she was expecting. I called her, sent all the money to her bank account in Shanghai, China. She was amazed at how much I sent. Yes! I sent all the money to her because I wanted to be with her till I begin to grow gray hair. After about a month of sending the money, she suddenly woke up one day and simply said she couldn’t be mine. Her family wouldn’t approve of it. Our love wasn’t enough; am from Nigeria, and she’s a Chinese; am 22 and she’s 42. She deactivated her Facebook and WhatsApp accounts. I went into depression, nearly killed myself, but am glad, I didn't. Nas Daily Videos helped me to cope and gradually get over the trauma. I love her and will always do so. Maybe, just maybe, I will be able to move on one day, and find happiness again in my life. http://3stn.com.ng/i-went-into-depression-and-nearly-killed-myself-22-year-old-ipob-member-narrates-how-his-42-year-old-chinese-lover-broke-his-heart/ |

President Muhammadu Buhari has declined assent to the amended electoral bill (2018). Ita Enang, senior special assistant to the president on national assembly (senate), said the president has communicated his decision to the national assembly. Although Enang avoided making a categorical statement on the bill, he was clear about the National University Commission Amendment Act which the president assented to. “President Muhammadu Buhari has taken decision on Electoral Act Amendment bill 2018. In accordance with his power under the 1999 Constitution and has communicated that decision to the Senate and House of Representatives in accordance with the law,” Enang told reporters on Friday. “President Buhari has also assented to National Open University Amendment Act, which allows the National Open University to operate as all other universities, having the same power and functions and the same administrative structures eliminating possible discrimination as some use to want to have on its products and programmes. “It has also allowed the establishment of some centers to be called study centers and given conditions for the establishment of such study centers.” Asked whether the bill was assented or rejected, he said “the president has taken a decision in a accordance with the powers vested in him according to the constitution. And by convention that decision contained in the communication can only be revealed by the person to whom that decision is addressed. But the electoral bill has left Mr. President because he has taken a decision and has remitted it back.” Pushed further Enang said, “Thank You very much but this is all the law allows me to say by convention. Mr. President has sent that communication to the national assembly.” When asked if it is safe to say he rejected the bill, he said “it is safe to say that the president has taken decision as allowed by low and has communicated that decision to the senate and the House of Representatives. “The implication of the decision is that the president has taken action on the bill within the time allowed by law.” Opposition parties had mounted pressure on the president to sign the bill, with the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) challenging Buhari to sign the bill to prove that he had not been cloned. This is the third time that the president would reject the bill. In March, Buhari withheld assent to the bill saying the proposed law would usurp the constitutional powers of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to decide on election matters, including fixing dates and the order they would go. In September, Buhari turned down the bill for the second time, asking the national assembly to revise some clauses. The national assembly had passed the bill on July 24 and transmitted to the president on August 3. Among the controversies on the bill were the reordering of the sequence of the 2019 elections, placing the presidential last, instead of the governorship and state assemblies and exclusion of card readers. https://www.thecable.ng/breaking-buhari-rejects-electoral-bill |

While speaking on Thursday when he launched the Google Free public Wi-Fi service in Wuse market, Abuja, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, said that the launch was in line with the Buhari administration’s commitment to leverage on the gains that a data-driven digital economy offers, providing more Internet access and opportunities for Nigerians to improve their businesses. According to Vanguard, the VP stated that the event was a fulfillment of a promise made by the administration to democratise access to all Nigerians, despite social class or status. He said, “this is a very exciting event for me. A couple of months ago, we were at the Google Headquarters at the Silicon Valley. And we were told about the Google Station Free Wi-Fi in Railway stations in India. "The CEO of Google was talking about this and I said if you can put this in railway stations in India, then you must put them in markets in Nigeria. I’m sure at the time he wasn’t quite certain what markets in Nigeria would look like. But we agreed on principle and a team has been working on it since then. “It’s incredible that today we have here at the Wuse market free Wi-Fi facilities in fulfillment of that promise that was made some months ago. One of the key reasons why it is important for us to do this is because of our own policy as a government to ensure that we democratize access in various ways so that the man in the street, the common man, can have access to the things that other people have. That informs our putting solar power in markets. “We were in Sabon Gari market the other day, where we have shops that are now powered by solar power and also by bio-fuels. We decided that we’ll power the markets, Sabon Gari is one, Ariaria Market is another. As a matter of fact, Ariaria has solar and a formal plant right there. We also have one in Lagos, (gas-fired) at the Sura Market and several other markets. “The reason of course is that economic sites, where many of our people do their business must be powered. We must give them the same sort of access that bigger industries have; that bottom of the pyramid, the people in the streets, not just the people who buy and sell. You find such guys, who, after retiring from pushing their barrows and trying to get their business done, have access to Wi-Fi.” Prof. Osinbajo said the administration was looking at expanding the scope so that more Nigerians can benefit from access to the Internet. He said, “We are told that our own interaction with the Wi-Fi is almost a hundred times more than the likes of India, Thailand and Malaysia. It just shows you the massive potential out there of Nigerians who are waiting to be connected to the Internet to benefit in one way or the other. So, I think it is a very exciting moment for us and we are looking for the expansion of this service and all of our efforts to as many markets as possible.” “The more Nigerians can have access to the Internet connectivity, the better for us, the more prosperous our country can be, the more educated, the more informed our people become. So, we are really proud of what is happening today. I must thank Google; I must thank BCN – the local partners – as well. We are looking forward to more collaboration and co-operation with them.” https://www.tori.ng/news/112468/google-lauches-free-wifi-facility-in-abuja-as-osin.html

The young lady took her Facebook page to narrate what happened and how God saved her from ending her life. According to Amarchi, she has been battling depression for six months and had no longing to continue living. On several occassions, she had attempted to take her life by way of overdosing on drugs or cutting herself but her mother always came through to rescue her. Read her story below: "5-12-18 was the day I gave up on life. "I gave up on my mom, my brother, and my friends. I was tired of Life, Family, Everything. I have tried overdosing myself with series of drugs twice, but God will always send my mom to my rescue. "I have been battling with depression for the past 6months. At first I tried cutting myself with blades to feel better, it helped a bit tho. One, two, three till it became a habit. Yesterday I took the worst step of my life, I headed to law school bridge lekki to end it all. "When I got there I said to myself "yes this is my final bustop". But my Gracious God said No that he has plans for me. He sent his Angels to take charge over me, two policemen and a brother, they came at the peak of time. "Then I realized God's purpose for me. I realized I was selfish I never thought about the pain my mom would go through, what about my brother. I realized I only have God to talk to, the Almighty who is faithful in his words. "I have learnt to talk to him when I'm down, he would listen and won't judge me, he would give me peace of mind and solution to all my problems. I alone knows what am going through and I have only God to turn to. "Please try and reach out to your loved ones, call and text them people are going through a lot you know nothing about. Help me share this in every way you can, media, group chat, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram. Help me save a life. No problem, No one is worth stressing nor dying for.
