chakula:Man, why do you talk like this. You assume too much. By the way, who told you he worships other gods beside the Almighty God? Secondly, i'll like to ask, what's the arabic word for 'god(s)'. I just assume you know arabic, or maybe someone who knows might contribute. |
ezeagu:That is not the issue. Everybody goes up with some form of biased view or the other. I myself inclusive. But there are some certain things you do, like being a mod, a judge, etc, and you need to put your bias aside and be fair. You need to be open-minded in circumstances like that. This is what i'm telling mukina2 . Creating my own forum wouldn't be a solution to what i want. |
mafolayomi:Your hubby's place, right? You've been there before? Nice people. |
Sani Abacha killed Ken Saro Wiwa, not IBB. |
Identity crisis |
Justcash:Probably hiding in the closets. |
I want to believe that this impeachment threat is rather a joke. What wrong has GJ has committed? It seems some of these power-hungry Northern politicians are running out of ideas. |
D-sense:Did he ruffle some feathers? This seems like some kind of exclusive. |
ezeagu:That still wouldn't deal with the bias. |
dappssee:I dont think MEND is going to do that. MEND is after something else that is completely different from tackling corrupt politicians. Neither is Boko haram going to do that for you. Somehow, i dont quite believe that a bloody revolution by any group will bring us the needed changes in Nigeria. |
Andre Uweh:You are right. If it had contained the word 'Igbo', even if it were a reasonable debate amongst the Igbo, it would have long been thrown into the tribalism section. This really disgusts me. Cant we discuss anymore? This mukina is just so biased. |
A muslim is a christian, and a christian is a muslim by the sense of the 2 words. I think that is how Obama sees it. Remember his father was a muslim, his mother(possibly a muslim convert or one who loves islam since she was twice married to muslim men) while his grandmother was a christian. |
Niyi53:I have studied the Quran and not quite impressed with it. It seems so much contaminated with Greek philosophies and superstitions. The writers were heavily influenced by the doctrines of Aristotles and Socrates, renowned philosophers of the time. |
ifyalways:I think the correct spelling is 'Ohnuhnu'. It's a term used to refer to non-Ngwa Igbos. It could also refer to all non-Igbos and things. |
Honestly, i dont feel comfortable with this kinds of Igbo involvement in foreign lands. I really dont get it why some Igbos feel comfortable outside their native land. The government of these communities have enough monies on their hands to fix up their unemployed youth, why must Igbos become the government. I think we have a lot to learn from Awo on his understanding of this entity called Nigeria. We always think we have no enemies. So sad! |
Niyi53:I dont quite agree with you. The religions teach contradictory things as to what God requires of people. Which means that all these contradictions is not= The Truth. I believe that God would not want to muddle himself in this kind of confusion. So there has to be one way that is the right way. It's left for people to investigate, and hopefully find. |
@ udezue. I'm quite disappointed at you. You admit that EzeUche speaks when blood rushes to his brain, yet you are less guilty of the same. You need to approach this matter with an open mind. That way, you'll get your points across without stirring emotions. For your question, Ruff Coin is from Obingwa, born and breed in Aba, a full Nwa Aba. @beneli and chinenyeN I dont subscribe to this 'Onhu onhu' of a thing. Please desist from using such an word, it doesn't help to resolve the problems. In all, I still feel that non-indigenes are supposed to respect their hosts, no matter the contributions of the non-indigenes to the community. |
Ileke-IdI:Folks, pardon my ignorance. Which part of Igbo land is Ekiti State in? It seems i'm missing something. Or do we mean the future Igbo state, Ekiti-Igbo. lol |
But why would a True God not allow people to know the true way to him? |

@ wesley80 I didn't see anything in the definition of 'distrain' that says 'to take away' or 'to remove'. It says 'to seize'. So what i said is still in line. |
wesley80:No. You mind telling us what it means. |
While there, they seized both theThis is the only thing i see as abnormal in this operation, every other thing was done in the normal process of possession taking, so let's not completely rule out a political angle to this story. Normally, no property is supposed to be taken out. The compound will be evacuated of people, sealed off and security agents placed there, pending further actions. Taking away their computers seem suspicious. Are they trying to hide something? |
asha 80:Yes, you are correct. Mr. Sam Mbakwe(a non-indigene) did a good job on Aba. He's is fondly remembered by all. If his types had always been around, Aba would have not been in flames now. Like i said earlier, there's nothing wrong with non-indigenes taking up elective positions. It's only when you betray public trust that people starts remembering where you come from. |
Inked_Nerd:I was just wondering, if you are by any chance Igbo, it means you dont understand Igbo then. If you did, you'd corrected the professors yourself. But you can always learn the language, it's never too late. Spend more time in Igboland. Or I might you teach you if you are hot and sexy. comprendez? |
There's this community called 'umuaro' in Ngwaland. Anybody with info if they have any connection to the Aro people? |
