yes i am moving into education from agronomy, i finished PGDE (test measurement & evaluation),finished december 2016,result approved june 2017 & God help me with Distinction grade as my result. Did the professional qualifying education for teachers in october 2017 last year & passed by His Grace. Now going for Masters in education technology my brother. Please pray along or i should be expecting scholarship nii?

Hello nairalanders,after four years of training two of your children in the unversity at the same time you discover one day that both of them don't attend classes not to talk more of bringing certificate back home.however,during their first year,they always bring all admission's scripts and slips.you gave them their school fees,feeding allowances,buy clothes and many other items for their comforts throughout the four years.

Less l forget, if any of them is having party celebration e .g birthday,street is full with different busty ladies and flashy guys called themselves as course mates.

Note:they are male and female.second and third in the family of 5 children. If you are one of the parents or the guardians, what will do to them. I heard it one day in a bus. Let us hear you.

God forbid that one experience such, the adage says a parent cannot give the child to a lion to kill. Simply mean have to re adjust, what is it they want to really do with their lives? I had seen someone rusticated in part 3 coming back to start at hundred level, go through the process to 500 level & graduate with certificate, now doing okay abroad. I had seen someone graduate with bad certificate in quote & when parent got discouraged I only encourage to send him abroad & now has a masters, also doing fine here in Nigeria.

The question is do you just give money without checking their habits, if so, the parents should re adjust. They can still be bent now before they become a reproach totally. May God help us, i had seen many cases turn around, even the one in final year NDA that was expelled. Is not enough to give cash, when you observe a child act or behave reckless, monitor such better.

Remember to bring them to the knowledge of God. Fear of God is the difference.

what's the weight of your birds? here, broilers are selling for 5k least price, some sell 6k5 sef. I took mine to the market and someone priced 4k, I no sell. my birds weigh between 5-7kg.

I know a doctor that is a private , he already joined the army before going to school and till haven't be commissioned yet. The person am talking about is not even igbo. You are moving straight to sambisa if u join or worse

true, many join to meet the initial challenges & get trap. Your friend can still be commissioned as an officer if good & vacancy is open,especially if in medicals. I will encourage him/her to be humble,friendly & should relate well with the superiors otherwise naa recruit he/she go retire. Also join your town or state family association/meetings if Any(there is always one). Humility takes far. With that qualification, he/she just need a helper to recommend & follow up & all is available in the system. Ethnicity place less when you are not puffed up.

i know about the force, i grew up with that blood and discipline in me by grace. Civilians & paramilitary respect all,even Navy acknowledge Army. And i belong to Navy family,but have friends & love ones in all. It wont be good for Navy to discipline civilians, their water drills isn't tolerable to offender

I advice you to join the Nigerian Air Force. Promotion would be tied your qualification and your entire career would be more fulfilling. Also, there are more diverse options for in service training, both in Nigeria and abroad, which would be sponsored by the Air Force.

recruit, except you earn conversion by direct short service or get admission into NDA. Not easy, but doesn't mean impossible. Salary should be over 40k, but u can easily Google that. You will get almost accurate information on the salary

it is not a conclusion that he is a dullard. There are only teachers that need to learn to teach students based on one on one teaching. You want the truth? If 9 years, he is not suppose to be in Js2 on normal progressive move. You are only stressing the young boy beyond his ability. Not everyone can move at that speed. Also Never call your child a dullard please. You will break his confidence. Get him a good patient teacher & there are many educative video that can help. Also pray for him & I know you will be amazed that your assertion is not conclusive.

You cannot be in the center of a storm & take side with opponent(opposition) of those considered to be a challenge to your security in your vicinity

my elder brother was released from prison last week. few of us went to received him at port Harcourt prison. he is emaciated. although I was just a boy when he was incarcerated. he sent me to school while he was behind bars.

Pastor isn't a profession, but a Call to Serve in the real context. 47 isn't too old to make a mark even if starting afresh. The first question will be if he learnt anything to change or we are just wasting our time. Let him start an NGO to educate people against doing wrong & share his experience or he should begin prison evangelism if with a call. Or start agricultural business (no one cares who did the farming, provided product is good). And if he has a good skill, please share.
