Crime › Re: Sharia Court Sentences Two To Amputation For Theft by executinal(m): 7:43pm On Sep 09, 2011
kufreabasi:
GUSAU (AFP) – An Islamic sharia court in  Zamfara State has sentenced two men to amputation of their right wrists for stealing a bull, with the amputation to be carried out in public if it is given final approval.

The sharia court in the village of Nassarawan Mailayi in the northern state of Zamfara on Thursday ordered that Auwalu Abubaka, 23, and Lawalli Musa, 22, have their right hands chopped off for stealing a bull worth 130,000 naira ($867, 628 euros).

However, the two men have 30 days to appeal their sentence and the state governor must approve any amputation So the state governor is GOD angry. Such sentences have only rarely been carried out in Nigeria.

“Based on the admission of guilt by the two of you of trespassing into the house … and stealing a bull whose worth is well above the minimum value to warrant amputation, I hereby order that each of you should have his right wrist amputated,” Judge Muhammadu Abubakar said. For whathuh is this the right judgement? angry angry angry angry what the hell is this judgement all abouthuh

“I hereby order that the sentence be carried out on October 8, on market day for members of the public to witness.”to withness and do what with it?? ok lesson to others, pls sharia law makers you guys should grow up, are we still in darkhuh

The convicts were arraigned on August 8 following complaints to the police by a resident accusing them of stealing his bull from his house, which led to their arrest,  so they were not cought?? rather accusation, angry angry angry angry court documents showed.

Sharia law is in place across 12 states in predominately Muslim northern Nigeria, but it is selectively enforced.

It provides for amputation of the wrist for theft and it would be the second time such a sentence is handed down in Zamfara, the first of Nigeria’s 36 states to reintroduce sharia law after the country returned to democratic rule in 1999.

In 2001, a notorious cattle rustler had his right wrist amputated following conviction by a sharia court in the state capital Gusau for stealing a bull after the then state governor approved the sentence.

The amputation drew outrage from local and international rights groups, which led to the overturning of more than a dozen amputation sentences across the 12 predominantly Muslim states.

Nigeria is Africa’s most populous nation, and its 150 million people are roughly divided between a mainly Muslim north and predominately Christian south.

Is normal practice with Nigeria Girls, i think their major problem they double date is because, they always try to meet up with their fellow friends. For example her friend got BB, she don't  , her friend leave bigger and spends more-than her, while she is just there wasting her precious time with one guy . After comparing all this material things that her fellow friends got more than her, she will do anything possible to meet up with her friends.

Nigeria: Two suspected Boko Haram members shot in Nigeria

News - Africa news .Security-Nigeria - Armed soldiers Thursday shot two suspected members of the violent Nigerian Islamic sect Boko Haram, in the northern state of Adamawa, the military said.

A military spokesman, Lt.-Col. Idachaba Idu, told journalists in the northern city of Jos that the suspects, who were riding on a motorcycle, were shot after they fired shots from the assault rifles they were carrying in Song, Adamawa.

'One of the suspects was killed instantly while the other was injured,' he said.

Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the series of deadly bombings in Nigeria, including last Friday's bombing of the UN House in the capital city of Abuja that left 23 dead.

The group is based in Maiduguri, capital of the northern state of Borno, but has apparently spread its tentacles to other northern states as well as Abuja.

Sun of god:
Where can I donate?

https://www.wazobiareport.com/Images/reports/goodluck-with-mikel-1.jpg

A group of concerned Nigerians have launched an emergency appeal to raise money to buy shoes for their President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

The appeal was made immediately after photos in which the president appeared barefooted were published on the internet.

According to the young man leading the appeal effort:

“When people saw the pictures of Mikel Obi visiting the president to thank him that government rescued his father from kidnappers, they started saying things like ‘why cant government rescue other people that are not famous? Is it the president or the police that he should be thanking? Why is GEJ even accepting this kind of visit and smiling like mumu when Boko Haram are still bombing everywhere, cholera is killing people like flies and flood is washing Nigerians away along with their property and even family?’

“But for me, all that is nonsense. What should concern any good citizen is that our president, who said he had no shoes when he was growing up, still doesn’t have shoes! grin grin

“I mean, just look at that picture. You can see that he’s not wearing shoes grin grin. A whole president, exposing his bare feet like that for the whole world to see. It is not presidential.”

Concerned citizens are being implored to send money or shoes to the president -UK size 8.
How do we donate? Cash or, grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin Jona don suffer for Naija people hand grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

what he did was to add five thousand naira to senior workers of levels 7 - 16 while the levels below got a ten thousand naira increment. I wonder how this shows that he has paid the minimum wage. The previous minimum wage was about 7000 naira. When u add 5000 or ten thousand does that get to 18,000? Chime is doing well but in this particular issue he is not there yet.
