Sometimes I wonder if women have shame at all. After all 3 kids was discovered not to be Mr. Odartey Lamptey's kids, his ex-wife is still appealing a case for sharing his husband's properties. It is indeed pathetic.

Gloria Appiah, the ex-wife of former Ghanaian international footballer, Nii Odartey Lamptey, has filed an appeal over the recent court verdict. Nii Ordartey Lamptey recently gained some respite after a suit filed by his ex-wife to claim 50% share of his assets was thrown out by an Accra High Court.

The legal battle which has lasted for the past four years was finally closed recently with the court declaring that Odartey Lamptey’s ex-wife had engaged in ‘adultery’ after a DNA test proved that three of the couple’s children were not fathered by the former Anderlecht star.

The former wife of Odartey Lamptey, Gloria Appiah, in 2013 filed a divorce suit against the ex-Black Blacks striker, demanding for half of his assets. However, the legal tussle has now been put to bed after Justice Cecelia Don-Chebe Agbevey declared that the suit lacked merits.

She was subsequently ordered to vacate the ex-footballer’s 7-bedroom apartment in East Legon within 30 working days. Meanwhile, the court is yet to decide on the date to sit on the appeal.

She is just a teen and yet she is sex freak. A 16-year old girl who was a victim of s3.xual abuse has made a shocking confession, saying that she cannot do without having s.ex with men daily.

She narrated how an old man, who was their neighbour at Mile 12, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, lured her into s3x at seven and since then she cannot resist having se.x everyday. The pupil said if she did not see any man to have se.x with her in her area, she would go to a popular under bridge at Mile 12 Lagos and beg for s.ex from touts.

She said she came from Enugu state to Lagos to live with her aunt after the death of her father. Her case has become so serious that she had to be referred to an NGO, Community Health Support and Empowerment Initiative, COHSAEI, which has taken up the challenge to rehabilitate her.

The little girl said she was lured into s3x by a man she called Baba who lived with her aunt in the same compound. She said the man (Baba) usually called her to his apartment whenever his wife and her aunt were not around and will put his finger inside her private part.

“He will tell me to come back home immediately our school closes and when I reach home he will be waiting for me to finger my honeypot,” she narrated. She said with time he started having real s3.x with her. She said when the man that initiated her into it moved out of their area, she resorted to meeting other men in the area without her aunt knowing.

She said she has become addicted to s.3x and cannot do without it. “When I desire s.ex and I do not see anybody to do it in my area, I will go under the bridge and beg the touts to do it for me,” he said.

Her predicament came when she confessed to her teacher what she was going through after the teacher noticed some abnormal behaviour in her. The teacher contacted her aunt who contacted an NGO for assistance.

The programme coordinator of the NGO, Mrs. Priscilla Ingbia, noted that her case was very pathetic because of her age. She said her group took up the challenge to rehabilitate her because it was clear if nothing was done urgently her future was in danger.

She said her organisation has started the process of rehabilitating her by carrying out series of tests on her to ascertain her health conditions. Ingbia stressed the urgent need to relocate her from her present environment and start a new life for her.

She said her organisation has not been able to do so because of the financial cost of doing so.

The keep being a gift that keeps on giving. Officers of the Delhi Police’s Crime Branch have arrested three Nigerian nationals and a local woman for duping people to the tune of over one crore rupees in fake lottery schemes.

The accused have been identified as Nigerian IT engineer, Suleiman Lawal (62) alias Benjamin, his Indian wife Bandana Chhetri alias Niki Anjali Gupta (43) Ugochukwu Usifo alias Brown Bruno (32), and Ichaba Lucky Igele (41) The accused used to send text messages and e-mails to the unsuspecting victims informing them that they had won huge amounts in lottery schemes.

“The gang would cheat people by sending them fake lottery messages and e-mails. Names of companies like Coca-Cola, Samsung, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, International Monetary Fund and the UN were used as well to lure people,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) G Ramgopal Naik.

Through these organisations, police said, the gang would tell people that they had won a lottery worth a million dollars.The police received a complaint from a farmer, Sardar Kamaljeet Singh of Punjab, who told them that he was cheated of a sum of one a half crore rupees by Nigerians.

He added that an Indian woman was calling him, demanding an additional Rs 45 lakhs, claiming that they needed to bribe police officials with this money in order to get his winnings cleared. The complainant was called to Delhi by the accused to pay the last instalment.

On June 23, a trap was lad by the Crime Branch sleuths at a bus stand in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar and two of the accused were arrested. Four mobile phones, fake US dollars, three laptops ans passports were seized from their possession. Two more arrest, including that of the Indian woman, were made subsequently.

Benjamin told the police that his visa expired in February 2014 but he continued staying in India illegally. In order to earn quick bucks he contacted his Nigerian counterparts in Delhi. Since Brown Bruno was an IT expert he took the data of clients and sent bulk messages and emails to lure them on the pretext of lottery amount from Coca-Cola, Samsung, International Monetary Fund, and the UN.

The gang members also spoke to the alleged targets in the voice of a woman using a software. They then sent messages to many people and later sent them fake documents related to the lottery from the Directorate of Income Tax, Monetary Fund, RBI, UN on the pretext that they had won a million US dollars.

Following Rooney's exit, Manchester United have named midfielder Michael Carrick as club captain.
Carrick, 35, is the club's longest-serving player, having joined in 2006, and replaces Wayne Rooney in the role after his move to childhood club, Everton.

"It feels great and it is such a huge honour to captain such a great club," Carrick told MUTV. "I never thought I could be here for so long and achieve so much. I have grown to love the club over the years and to be in this position is very special."

He added: "I will speak when I need to speak, but I am quite laid back and chilled out really. I will try to lead by example."

Carrick moved to United from Tottenham for £18.6m and signed a contract extension earlier this year, committing to the club until June 2018.

The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has narrated how he ran away from the barracks when he could no longer endure the rigours of Nigerian Army training after he tried to join.

He revealed this after he met soldiers at a checkpoint unannounced. The soldiers felt at ease with the Governor as he told them his story.

Revealing details of the incident, the Governor’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka said:

“Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose having a tete-a-tete with Soldiers at the Ikere border today. The governor in the chit-chat narrated how he ran away from the Mogadishu Barrack when he could no longer endure the rigours of Nigerian Army training.

The Soldiers laughed, they were at ease, they felt honoured!”

Breaking News: Supreme Court Declares Ahmed Makarfi Authentic PDP National Chairman

The Supreme Court has declared a former Kaduna State governor, Ahmed Makarfi the authentic national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The declaration follows a lengthened leadership tussle between a former Borno State governor, Ali Sheriff and Makarfi since the party lost the 2015 presidential election.

According to Punch New, the appeal was decided by a five-man panel of the apex court led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, filed by the Makarfi faction.

Present at the Supreme Court weree Governors of Ekiti and Rivers states, Ayodele Fayose and Nyesom Wike,‎ a former Vice-Chairman of the party (South West), Chief Bode George, and the present occupant of the position in the faction, Chief Eddy Olafeso.

Also in court were former National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Chief Olisa Metuh, former Minister of Education, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, a former Governor of Kano State and former Minister of Education, Ibrahim Shekarau,

Others include, Ben Obi, founder of African Independent Television, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Dayo Adeyeye, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, and Tom Ikimi.

A socking news emanating from Obohia road, Aba by Assemblies of God Church, Aba Abia state has taken everybody by surprise. Prosper Festus who reported the incident revealed that a lady was shot dead by an unknown man who had invited her to his house.

Festus reported that the two had a quarrel and the girl rushed out obviously to spread a secret when the man took his gun and shot her dead. Police are yet to issue a statement regarding the incident.
