The sacking of the former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, as the governor of Imo state by the Supreme Court is no longer a news but what remains a source of wonder for most Nigerians is how the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Imo governor-elect, Hope Nzodinma, finally won the battle after he had lost at tribunal and the Court of Appeal.

Before the judgement of the Supreme Court on Tuesday, January 14, the fiery Catholic priest of Enugu Diocese, Ejike Mbaka, had sent a jittery to the camp of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state when he prophesied on the eve of January 1, that Ihedioha would be sacked and that Nzodinma would become the governor.

here highlights 10 most important things to know about the new governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma

1. Senator Hope Uzodinma picked the APC ticket seven months after he left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

2. Uzodinma came fourth behind Emeka Ihedioha (PDP), Nwosu (Action Alliance) and Ifeanyi Ararume (All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

3. While Ihedioha polled 273,404 votes, Nwosu, Ararume and Uzodinma secured 190,364; 114,676; and 96,458 votes respectively. Uzodinma challenged the victory of Ihedioha up to the apex court and won.

4. Uzodinma became prominent in Imo politics in the early 2000s as a PDP member. In 2003, he ran for governor of the state on the ticket of Alliance for Democracy (AD) but he did not win.

5. He returned to the PDP and in 2006 and sought the ticket of the party to contest the governorship election again but lost at the primary poll to Ararume.

6. Uzodinma who was later appointed a PDP board of trustees (BoT) member, was first elected into the Senate in 2011. He was reelected in 2015.

7. Before the 2000s, Uzodinma was the youth leader of the defunct National Party of Nigeria (NPN) in Imo in the second republic. He was also a prominent member of the now-defunct United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP).


8. He also has been involved in the oil and gas sector through SMIEC Chemical Engineering & Construction Company Limited, his company, which he used to execute many projects for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

9. He obtained his secondary school certificate from Mgbidi Secondary School, Orlu west in 1982.

10. Uzodinma has a bachelor’s degree in international studies and a diploma in transport studies. He is also a recipient of an honorary doctorate degree from the Imo state university.

What I mean is that is not necessarily that wheelborrow is used in the market place , remember that whenever they are build house or constructing a road , wheelborrow is needed, so by giving them that ' youth' wheelborrow don't necessarily mean that it must be use for pushing in the market. I know some guys that carry blocks, cement and other things on their heads for building construction , this could help eleviant workload.

Hi guys,
So I'll be very direct and summarize this as possible. But please bear with me if I get carried away...

I've been been dating my girlfriend for a year now and we are very serious and I'm even considering proposing to her, but we are not based in the same town.

So I called her with another number last night, she couldn't recognize my voice cause I sounded different, so I decided to play around cause we gist and make fun of each other a lot. So I acted like I was someone who got her number and is trying to toast her.

She asked who was speaking and I said Victor, that I got her number when I saw her in the bank, we were on the same queue, so I copied her number from her teller, she laughed and all, so after all the lines I poured out, she was just laughing and flowing along, so I asked if we could see that night, but she said it was late but I had to persuade her, so she agreed that I instead come to her place to see her. "This is someone she hasn't met before and she agreed for him to come see her at her place, in the night for that matter".

So I asked for her address and she gave out her real address, asked if she has a boyfriend and she said yes but we ain't in the same town.
I got upset and had to open up and ask why she's cheating on her guy? At this point she was mute and ended the call. I called back but she didn't answer anymore.

So I just dropped a message on WhatsApp that I was disappointed.

Her reply was devastating: she wrote;
"keep your disappointment in your pocket.
Don't even get me more angry.
Just do yourself a favor by not ever mentioning me in your mouth again.

I also confessed to my lady about my relapse and strong determination to quit and she is helpful and supportive but with the condition that she may not cope if I should suffer another relapse.

My addiction and its resultant consequences have made close family and friends loose their respect and confidence in me.

Above all, i feel so separated by God who have done so much for me .

I want to pick my self up and fight because of

1.God
2.Myself
3. Family
4. My girl friend


At this point I need all the help I can get to snatch out my life out of satanic bait to ruin me forever
