Sahih International: O our people, respond to the Messenger of Allah and believe in him; Allah will forgive for you your sins and protect you from a painful punishment. (Quran 46:31) The translation of the Quran, the holy book of Islam, is a complex and challenging task, as it involves conveying the essence of the original Arabic text into a different language. Translators face a dilemma when it comes to literal vs meaning translations of Quran verses. Literal translations aim to preserve the exact wording and structure of the original text, while meaning translations focus on capturing the intent and message behind the verses. Literal Quran translations may often deprive readers of a true comprehension of its meanings. The Quran is written in classical Arabic, a language that is rich in metaphorical and contextual meaning. Translating Arabic into other languages often leads to losing some of the nuances and complexities of the original text. Literal translations reduce the multifaceted nature of Quranic verses to a simplistic and limited understanding. |
You don't see السامرى and سمير are derived from the same root? The root words of الْسَّامِريّ are س م ر. In Arabic, root words are the foundation or building blocks from which different words are derived. These root words carry a core meaning and are helpful in understanding the meaning and context of words. The root word س م ر has multiple meanings, including "to become red" or "to be tanned." From this core meaning, various derivatives are formed. For example, سَمَرَتْ means "to make something red" or "to dye." سُمْرَة, on the other hand, refers to the color brown or dark. When it comes to الْسَّامِريّ, the root word س م ر is combined with the prefix ال |
Yahweh is a Hebrew name. Muhammad pbuh and his audience in Arabia speak arabic; what use is the informing of names in other languages? Al-Mutakabir is an exclusive name for Allah and any other bearing this is only arrogance. Abdul-Mutakabir shows a submissive to Al-Mutakabir and Mutakabireen is only arrogance/arrogant. Did the Pharoah not equate himself to God? |
The name Yahweh is highly revered in various religious traditions, especially in the Hebrew Bible. In Judaism and Christianity, it is considered too holy for humans to utter, leading to the use of alternative names like Adonai or Lord. This reluctance stems from a deep sense of humility and reverence, acknowledging the difference between divine and human nature. Misuse or desecration of Yahweh is considered a grievous offense. Instead, religious traditions focus on living a life that reflects the attributes associated with the divine name, such as love, compassion, and justice. |

All these your sentences are in reference to human beings not Allah so it wouldn't take. When you use this name for all other than Allah it is negative. TenQ: |
You obviously refuse to accept this - هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَٰمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ ٱلۡمُهَيۡمِنُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡجَبَّارُ ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ "He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him." - simply because it clearly illustrates how the meaning of an arabic word is derived from its use and context of the sentence where it occurs. Even if Mutakabireen is a plural term it is grammatically incorrect to say Al-Mutabireen. This term does not actually exist in Arabic, and its usage is grammatically incorrect. The term itself seems to be a jumble of Arabic words, but when examined closely, it becomes apparent that it has no meaningful translation or context. Ungrammatical terms like Al-Mutabireen often arise due to a lack of understanding or knowledge of the Arabic language. Arabic, like any other language, has a set of grammatical rules that govern its structure and syntax. In the Quran, one of the attributes of Allah is Al-Mutakabir, which means "The Supreme" or "The Majestic". This attribute emphasizes the greatness, grandeur, and superiority of Allah. It highlights the fact that Allah is the ultimate authority and that no one can ever compare or rival His power and knowledge. This name in the Quran, reminds believers of the ultimate majesty and sovereignty of their Creator. In Islam, believers are encouraged to recognize and submit to the greatness of Allah as Al-Mutakabir. This means not only acknowledging His power and majesty, but also humbling oneself before Him. Muslims are taught to understand their place in the grand scheme of creation and to avoid arrogance and vanity. Only Allah is truly supreme, and all of creation is subservient to His will. The concept of Al-Mutakabir serves as a reminder for Muslims to remain humble and modest in their actions and interactions with others. The Quran also mentions the "Mutakabireen", which refers to those who display arrogance and pride. This is viewed as a negative quality in Islam, as it goes against the principles of humility and submission to Allah. The Mutakabireen are depicted as individuals who believe they are superior to others, and they often take pride in their wealth, knowledge, or social status. Islam warns against such attitude and encourages believers to reject arrogance and to recognize that all blessings and successes come from Allah. Instead, Muslims are encouraged to cultivate a sense of gratitude and humility in all aspects of life. Al-Mutakabir is an attribute of Allah that underscores His supreme power and majesty. It reminds Muslims of their place in front of their Creator and encourages them to remain humble and modest. Islam discourages arrogance and pride, promoting a sense of gratitude and humility instead. By recognizing and submitting to the greatness of Allah, believers strive to align themselves with the teachings of Islam and live a life of humility. TenQ: |
Al-Mutakabir, an Arabic term, refers to Allah's greatness and perfection. It is not appropriate to assign a plural form to this term due to its uniqueness and incomparability. In Islamic theology, Allah is considered one and indivisible, making it inappropriate to assign plural forms. Instead, we can appreciate Allah's vastness and grandeur through various attributes and qualities conveyed in the Quran |
Sentence context Mr not individual words. These are the specifics of grammar in this language. You submit that Q59:23 is not a correct translation of the meaning of the verse or will you rather reverse this into the other verses? At last we will all know wouldn't we? TenQ: |

TenQ:قِيلَ ٱدۡخُلُوٓاْ أَبۡوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ فَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَى ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ "[To them] it will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant."" (Q39:72) ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيۡرِ سُلۡطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمۡ ۖ كَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلۡبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ "Those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without an authority having come to them - great is hatred [of them] in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who have believed. Thus does Allah seal over every heart [belonging to] an arrogant tyrant." (Q40:35) إِلَٰهُكُمۡ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞ ۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٞ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ "Your god is one God. But those who do not believe in the Hereafter - their hearts are disapproving, and they are arrogant." هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَٰمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ ٱلۡمُهَيۡمِنُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡجَبَّارُ ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ "He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him." (Q59:23) Two terms frequently mentioned in the Quran that highlight this theme are "Mutakabireen" and "al Mutakabir". Although both words have a similar root and convey the concept of arrogance, they differ in their nuances and implications within the context of the Quran. "Mutakabireen" refers to those who exhibit arrogance and pride, often in a way that denies the existence or superiority of God. This term is used to condemn those who reject religious guidance and consider themselves above divine authority. The Quran portrays the "Mutakabireen" as unappreciative and ungrateful individuals who fail to acknowledge their dependency on God's blessings. On the other hand, "al Mutakabir" refers to God Himself as the Supreme Being, the Ultimate in Magnificence and Supreme Greatness. In this context, the term highlights God's infinite power, wisdom, and authority. It emphasizes the belief that true greatness and majesty belong to God alone. The Quran uses this term to remind humanity of their position of subservience to God and the need to submit to His will. |

The story of Prophet Isa (Jesus) performing miracles and creating a bird is a significant aspect of his life as mentioned in the Quran. However, it is important to note that these miracles do not make him Allah, but rather signify his unique position as a Prophet. Isa's miracles serve as evidence of his divine appointment and should be seen within the context of his role as a messenger of Allah. By creating a bird from clay, Isa demonstrated his exceptional power bestowed upon him by Allah, affirming his legitimacy as a Prophet and reinforcing the belief in Allah's unlimited ability. As a Prophet, Isa had a mission to convey Allah's message to humanity. One of the ways in which he did this was through miracles. These miracles served as signs from Allah, allowing people to witness the extraordinary power bestowed upon His chosen messengers. The ability to create a bird from clay was one such miracle granted to Isa by Allah. This miraculous act was a clear demonstration of Allah's power and Isa's exceptional position as a Prophet. However, it is important to emphasize that these miracles were performed by Isa with the permission of Allah, and not through his own inherent divine nature. It is crucial to distinguish between the position of a Prophet and the position of Allah. The miracles performed by Isa do not elevate him to the level of Allah, nor do they imply that he is divine. Rather, Isa's miracles should be understood as a manifestation of Allah's power and a testament to the authenticity of his Prophethood. It is through these miracles that Isa demonstrated his obedience and submission to Allah, constantly reminding his followers of the ultimate authority of Allah in the grand scheme of things. Thus, while Isa's miracles were extraordinary, they were performed by the permission and will of Allah, highlighting the fundamental belief in the oneness of Allah. |

Arabic, known for its rich vocabulary, encompasses words that hold multiple layers of meaning within different contexts. As a Semitic language, it employs root words that derive from three-letter patterns, which can be conjugated and modified to convey a wide range of concepts. The context in which an Arabic word is used heavily influences its interpretation, allowing for various shades of meaning and nuances to be expressed. Thus, comprehending Arabic words requires a holistic approach that considers both their intrinsic definitions and the context in which they are employed. Solely Allah is Al-Mutakabir used for any other is arrogance as non other than him is worthy of this position of greatness or supremacy. TenQ:He is Superior to the tyrants among His servants who claim grandeur. |

The way you mislead people with your talk on grace implying they are not liable for their actions. This is why I pointed out these verses to establish that the laws with regard to righteous conduct must be obeyed. There's high risk of misunderstanding in the guise of not yet being under the control of the 'holy spirit'. Individuals must for decide and determine to be upright then God will help. Just as the proverb that it's the child who raise his hands up seeking help that will be carried. Submission and surrendering to the will of God while asking for the good yourself. Matthew 12:36-37 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Romans 14:12 So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God Ecclesiastes 11:9 Rejoice, young man, during your childhood, and let your heart be pleasant during the days of young manhood. And follow the impulses of your heart and the desires of your eyes. Yet know that God will bring you to judgment for all these things. 1 Corinthians 3:13 each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. I am not a myth and definitely not a trinity. Allah did not misinterprete the trinity unless you claim he defined trinity as you state. Simply as a monotheistic faith it states nothing to be co worshipped with him. a) It debunks any claim of God bearing a Son through which you pray to him b) It states that a claimed son is not equal to him and God cannot be born by his creation. Even if you say Catholics are not Christians is this statement not from Pope John Paul 2? Mary "is endowed with the high office and dignity of the Mother of the Son of God, and therefore she is also the beloved daughter of the Father and the temple of the Holy Spirit" Specifically praising Jesus as God is making him co divine with God. Calling Mary a mother of God is degrading. Further blasphemy? Hear, O Israel, Adonai Eloheinu Adonai is one. These three are one. How can the three Names be one? Only through the perception of faith; in the vision of the Holy Spirit, in the beholding of the hidden eye alone.…So it is with the mystery of the threefold Divine manifestations designated by Adonai Eloheinu Adonai—three modes which yet form one unity. Emboldened is your belief? You follow the assertions of the true mischief makers. Translate deceiver from English to arabic and compare this to where the claim of Allah being a deceiver exists. Furthermore do say the early Christians up till the advance of Protestantism in the 16th century were misguided for 1500 years. No trinitarian doctrine is explicitly taught in the Old Testament Sophisticated trinitarians grant this, holding that the doctrine was revealed by God only later, in New Testament times (c.50–c.100) and/or in the Patristic era (c. 100–800). They usually also add, though, that with hindsight, we can see that a number of texts either portray or forshadow the co-working of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Very simply put Greek philosophy laid the foundation for the concept of the trinity. Influenced by the philosophical ideas of Plato, Aristotle, and other prominent thinkers, early Christian theologians drew on these principles to develop the doctrine of the trinity. MrPRevailer: |
