1.2days before the election all principal players in APC were arrested/immobilsed or simply locked up to prevent last minute instructions
2.Armed soldiers were detailed to follow PDP officials around while oppositions were to be intimidated at all cost
3.The Director general of Fayemi,Ho. Bimbo Daramola campaign organization was driven into the bush 48hrs before the election
4.The election was monetised because of the electorate mind set (they all believed albeit wrongly that you better take 2k from them today that may be the last thing you will enjoy from them)and the two parties were ready.PDP hunted the key APC people down while they distributed their own money to the people unchallenged and unmolested.

Fayemi is not in the same class as your former Danfo driver. Osinbajo made the call on Friday night at the Pan African Gathering Conference for 2015 of House of Revival Church, Brakpan, South Africa.

He said that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross was profound because He was crucified for the sins of the world.

According to Osinbajo, the prophetic gathering was special because God works in a miraculous way.

“ This prophetic gathering is very special indeed. One of the reasons why it is special is because it just shows you God works.
God doesn’t look at size, he doesn’t look at anything fancy, he just does it in accordance with His grace and mercy.

“ I was sitting here in 2013 when a prophecy was made that I will be vice president of Nigeria and I didn’t take it seriously,“ he said.

Osinbajo, who said the prophecy had shown that God works in an incredible way, added that the head of the church at the end of March 2015 predicted that there would be a mighty honour for him.

The vice president prayed that God should bless that gathering and answer their prayers.

“I want us to bear in mind that what makes Jesus Christ special and what makes that sacrifice special is because Christ is so life transforming and Christ is God almighty,“ he said.

The General Overseer of the House of Revival Church, Pastor Daniel Awusanya, said he was linked with Nigeria 16 years ago when he worked with Osinbajo at the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

He said God was building a new Africa and would make it a unique continent.

“ God said he will build a new Nigeria, a Nigeria of honour. This government will be one of the best in Africa, with honour and integrity,“ he said.

Awusanya prayed God to give Osinbajo divine wisdom to contribute to the building of a new Nigeria.

The President of Nigeria Union in South Africa, Mr Ikechukwu Anyene, and some executive members attended the service.

Malaria and typhoid are two different diseases but sometime physicians are unable to diagnose them properly due to similarity in certain sign and symptoms.
Difference in Causative Agent:
Typhoid fever is caused by a gram negative bacteria named as salmonella typhi whereas malaria is a protozoal disease occur due to different species of Plasmodium such as P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale, and P. malariae.However, there is one common factor between the two. Salmonella typhi is known to breed in dirty water which can also become ideal conditions for the breeding of mosquitoes .
Difference in transmission
Typhoid bacteria are usually contracted through food or water that have been contaminated with faeces or urine. Anyone who eats any food or drink any water that had any contact with typhoid-bearing stool or urine could contact typhoid fever. Flies, which settle on typhoid-bearing faeces or urine, do in most instances, settle on exposed food or water.
Malaria is contracted by mosquitoe bites.
Difference in Symptoms:
The symptoms of both typhoid and malaria differ considerably. For example in the case of malaria patient can experience nausea, vomiting, chills, fevers and diarrhea sometime but symptoms of typhoid are different in different stages.
Mainly there are four stages of typhoid. Single stage comprises of seven days. During the first stage patient can suffer high fever and persists for weeks (fever does not respond to antimalarials), abdominal pain,severe headache, bradicardia, cough and tiredness. In the second stage, fever, reduced heart rate, diarrhea or constipation, confusional state and rose spots on trunk occur. In the third stage patient may have some complications and the last stage is the stage of recovery.

Differential diagnosis Of Typhoid
The group of symptoms which most clearly suggests the diagnosis of typhoid fever is:
Gradually increasing fever with evening exacerbation and morning remission.
General malaise with headache.
Furred tongue with red edges and tip.
Epistaxis.
Relatively slow pulse (possibly dicrotic).
Abdominal distension with increased bowel sounds.
Tenderness in the right iliac fossa on firm pressure.
A roseolar eruption confined principally to the abdomen and chest.
Splenomegaly.
Bronchial catarrh.

Difference In Complication In Typhoid
Typhoid complications include Intestinal perforation with peritonitis (rapidly fatal, refer urgently to a surgeon) - presents as severe abdominal pain, tenderness, rebound tenderness and guarding.Acute psychosis (never refer any patient with fever and psychosis to the psychiatric hospital).Some specific complications of malaria are renal impairment, retinopathy, cerebral malaria, convulsions, coma and death.

Difference Diagnostic Tests:
Different tests are being performed to diagnose both malaria and typhoid but it is easier to diagnose malaria in comparison to typhoid. For typhoid following tests are recommended
Widal test
Typhidot test
Bone marrow test
Stool test

For malaria following types tests are being done;
Complete blood count (CBC)
Malarial Parasite (MP) test
Rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) based upon the microscopic evaluation of causative agent.

Difference in Standard/Conventional Treatment:
For the treatment of malaria different types of anti-malarial drugs ( amodiaquine, lumefantrine, mefloquine or sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine) are used but for typhoid treatment, antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin and olfloxacin are commonly prescribed.

Herbal Treatment Of Malaria And Typhoid
Lemon Grass In Malaria:For treating malaria, a cup of boiling water is usually poured over lemon grass to make an fusion. It is then allowed to stand for about five minutes before it is strained and drank.
Lemon Grass In Typhoid:To treat typhoid, it is recommended that lemon grass leaf be boiled in water for about half an hour with whole lime, grape fruits, unripe pawpaw fruits, unripe pineapples, cut garlic and bark of Alstonia bonnei (awun in Yoruba; cheesewood/pattern wood in English).

Free education has ended in Ekiti state as stakeholders on Tuesday agreed to bring back school fees at the Ekiti State Education Summit organized by Governor Ayodele Fayose.

With the development, tuition fees will now be paid by pupils in the state's public primary and secondary schools.

Speaking at the event which was held at the Abiodun Adetiloye Hall of the state's Trade Fair Complex, Ado Ekiti, Fayose said the summit was organized because of the successes recorded after a similar one he organized in his first stint as governor of the state.

Stakeholders present included unionists, executives of education agencies, religious leaders and eminent educationists amongst others.

Student Pulse gathered that the summit was chaired by chaired by the Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti, Oba Ademola Ajakaye.

In a related development, the Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Committee (JCC), Musa Surajudeen, criticized Fayose for not involving students of the state in the deliberations.

A female student of University of Lagos (UNILAG) was on 8th Sept.(2days ago) electrocuted by high tension cable in front of Sodeinde Hall of residence on the campus.
The female student was walking along the "New Hall" bus stop when an high voltage electric cable fell off the pole striking her to death.

The student was immediately taken for treatment at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), but gave up before the ambulance conveying her could reach the hospital.
The fallen cable is still lying on the ground with rain drizzling over it as students walk closely along the path of the tragedy.

Although firefighters were called to the scene, they soon left after taking the victim from the scene leaving the entire area without cordoning it off or placing caution tape around it.

Students who witnessed the tragedy reported that they have been witnessing some electric sparks off the cables on the same electricity poles recently on the campus. The authorities did nothing until the fatal collapse of a high tension cable killing the female student happened this evening.

The victim Oluchi Anekwe a 300 level student of the Department of Accounting at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and was a first class scholar in her department until her death from a high voltage cable that snapped off the pole on the campus last night.
