Oga Eze! Do you still NEED the newspaper 9? I have a clean version. I can purchase it for you! (Don't get me wrong o! Not the original version but I have a marketplace where they sell ThemeForest WP theme for less even the latest ones. And I happen to have few bucks on my wallet on the site). For most saying there aren't good devs in 9ja, I think I'd beg to differ. Just that most of US alienates the importance of UI and UX even when making use of a templating system or CMS.

Hi, nice job. Admirable. Your consideration of costs effectiveness is commendable too. Would love to work with you but i have a stand.

I moved from blogger to WordPress on August 7 and newspaper 9 has always been my theme of choice. I have gone through 5 webmasters now, all from here, promising me solutions to my problems but even but even till this day i don't have rest or a perfect website i can visit with a joyful heart.

The first installed wp well enough, put up the theme, then saw how complex it was to customize and stopped taking my calls completely... this after asking for his balance payment to buy data to finish my job. The second guy made away with my money completely after changing just one logo. The 3rd guy didn't have to work on my site or press *737# to refund me my initial payment... stopped taking my calls too.

The last guy didn't work on weekends at all and on weekdays, could give my site 2 hrs of his valuable time only and even then he never did what i wanted on my own site! He kept editing the codes to bypass the theme's keycodes. He kept coding until the images started vanishing and the theme got slow.

What did all these guys have in common which made me hire them? They offered a fair price and had original newspaper 9 theme. They also offered the best services. All those themes were fake and regretted their services very well. Currently, when you run an integrity scan on my site you find the TagDiv Newspaper 9 theme is nulled and so are the 7 TagDiv plugins that came with it. I uninstalled 3 with the highest threat levels.

I blocked the last guy myself before he finished running his coding tests on my site. Deleted the frontend he was working on and set the theme to default Wordpress display, using Latest posts only, like a regular blog. I now live a life of constant fear of being hacked but by the grace of God, that will not happen until i have money to purchase the original theme in November-December.

I have learned the bitter way but still have a need for a webmaster soon. However, i will never ever do one thing again, and that is hire a Nigerian webmaster online. YOU MUST HAVE AN OFFICE OR HOME IN LAGOS WHERE I STAY AND WE MUST MEET.. We must meet and agree on terms, there no two way about it.

I'm an author and part-time blogger hance certain features are a must have such as email opt-in and email list, auto share to social media, contact form and landing page. But first, a clean Wordpress install to flush away all those bad codes from 4 nulled themes and a host of nulled plugins and whatever they injected into my site.

This is my stand. What say you?

About a month ago, I moved from blogger to Wordpress and to tell the truth, it is like moving from peace to trouble. Beginning with all the fake themes and plugins i bought here on Nairaland form people who swore they premium to technical issues and constant hack attemptes on the site. The move shot my ranking up from 60million to 5.9 million and this, of course, comes with lots of attention from hackers. So far my security plugins have kept them at bay but i just can't help wondering if this is so for everyone on WP.

My latest trouble now is to install my Analysis tracking code in the header php only for me to discover that all the other themes installed and removed created tables so i don't even know which one to edit. Will have to use a plugin anyway... Google analysis Dashboard for WP

My latest problem is this, the newspaper 9 theme i am using has places for ads but it does not show the ads well in posts, hence i added the Ad inserter plugin. But there is still one lingering issue. My link ads do not show.

I took the same ad code and put it on blogger blog connected to the AdSense account and it showed well. Hence there is a problem i am not seeing.

I applied for this Adsense code on blogger and the widget was added to my site on approval so there is no code to put in the header. What do i do now? Do just put the auto code in the header?

I installed a new security plugin on my Wordpress site after some modifications by a webmaster i hired here on Nairaland. Thing is, the plugin has highlighted some line codes in the .htaccess file as 'Suspicious redirects'.

A suspicious redirection to another, probably phishing website. (RWEB)

There about 3 instances of the occurrence. Google it and found that it has to do with granting permission to IP. But then my security plugin is one of thos powerful ones that does not overlook anything. It's even flagging my Yeast premium SEO plugin which is how I know it is fake, a cracked version of the original.

Should i be worried about these redirects?

yeah antivirus usually see it as virus because it's not an installable software. you just click and it runs. then you extract it.

mind you, the purpose of packaging it like that is for branding. especially premium tools and files. this way when someone shares it. I have seen lots of uploaders that used the same trick to brand what they shared. especially that crack keygenerator or patch.

it's not a virus bro. I packed the file in software extraction. so when you download it, you will need to run the software to extract the file inside.

download it from the solidfile link I shared. some of the download site might ask you to download it using their download manager, if that is the case, make sure to unchecked the option before downloading.

so you can use it for free but no auto update. that is the difference between premium shared themes without licence code. so most premium themes and plugin need licence code to enable you get auto update from wordpress dashboard.

this is why some people try to get nulled so they can get auto update.

so this copy is not nulled. but can still be used without getting auto update. that shouldnt be an issue as that is what most people use. 85percent of website build by freelancer or individual makes use of premium themes without licence code.

so you can update anytime you get your hands on latest copy manually

I don't wanna upload images to attract undue attention but you can check by downloading the file to your pc. There's nothing inside just that virus. Since it's for Wordpress it will not harm your pc.

so each links in one line is different file sharing that is used to share the file. download it from any of the links inside the text file

Bro, you did not send me the link direct to my email as requested but no problems. It seems that the TXT file was donloading itself into my pc each time i clicked it. I ust checked and saw like 20 copies! Lols, never dealt with the file format before. Anyway i opened one with notepad and saw the links.
