One thing that I haven't done and would advise everyone to do is to learn German. I always tell myself I'll start next semester and then next semester comes and well... life happens LOL. I will get around to it later sha cause my new course makes it mandatory to be proficient at B2 level before graduating so mans has no choice. Personal development is very important as well, so if you're not the STEM type, try to take online courses in Excel, SAP, Project Management and other business intelligence courses. If possible, get a certification as well.

Anyway for Fabcol and anyone else interested, TL;DR: Stem isn't the only path to securing long-term stay in Germany.

Nigeria don't do student applicant Visa.. Just student visa
But you could try calling or mailing them tho..there contact details is on the website
I assume you mean going for appointment with vpd cause you don't need present admission proof to book visa appointment

No time oh..once date enter August it gets risky cause most enrollment deadlines are September and processing can take as long as two months..its better you book for Lagos and plan for the interview..

My interviewer was a Prof, can't remember his name.

My brother the confusion reach my end oh.. Make we dey watch them.
And for people that were lucky to book with the old system ..Abeg make una no mess up for interview oh..they gave someone going for MSC test(related to his field tho), My VO self was asking basic questions related to my field before the interview started (transcript loading )tho the interview questions ask were regular basic questions..please prepare very hard before going...have seen two rejections this winter already(within two weeks after interview) and If fresh booking dey like this imagine how appeal go be...

The exception means those courses have a separate deadline from other courses deadline.
The general deadline for majority of courses in the school is 15 July but those few once on exception has its own separate deadline... Eg. International management deadline is 15may but can be extended to 31may

For the winter semester: 15th July
For the summer semester: 15th January

Exceptions:
for the winter semester:

International Management 15th May, extended until 31.5.2019

Intercultural Communication and European Studies (ICEUS) 15 May, extended until 31.5.2019
Global Software Development 31 May

for the summer semester:
Global Software Development 1st November
International Management 15th December

Evening Great Minds, just came across the two on the website of the school am applying Hafencity University Hamburg. Student Visa and Student Applicant Visa. From the explanation the later is used to bye cut the long waiting time for visa

Its not same nah..it clearly shows he booked for category A and the 2-3months is just an estimated period... Don't be supriced if he gets date in few weeks or days self

The only time there is consequences is when u are enrolled in the school.. So far you did not enroll in the school you can switch..

Is this actually possible? to enroll/ accept an admission from a different school, attend visa interview & then change to another school if you get another admission? I thought the embassy will get in touch with the alien office at the state you intend on going to during the whole process.

Please I am not saying you're wrong but I need you to shed more light on this or anyone who has had such an experience. Is it possible to do this without consequences since the interview would be about the first school and not any other.

What you send for your other applications are documents uniassist don't have for the new school that requires sending + application form (if there is provision for signing)

In addition. Thats if uniassist already have your certified documents then no need sending a form that has no provision for signing. If its your first application, weather the form has provision for signing or not, you need send your certified documents with the form to uniassist

For some schools simple you dont need to send signed copy of application form to uniassist OVGU included. If there's no where to sign on the form, there's no need to send the signed copies by mail.

Infact while i was planning to ship my documents the started processing the application. they started processing my applications.

Put it as it appears on your transcript.. They would do the conversion.. Thats what they are paid for

No you don't need health insurance to book visa appointment.. Travel insurance will be request 4-8 weeks after your interview, if successful.
