PoliticsRe: Military Fires GOC Attacked By Convicted Soldiers by Fadelex(m): 8:16am On Sep 17, 2014
If these guys are executed there will be massive resignation in Nigeria Army. I stand to be corrected, the operation in Maiduguri is a suicide mission. The GOC cut down the 30k monthly allowance to 15k and the military authorities turned blind eyes. The GOC withdrawn air support while ground force is in place in d middle of operation and this led to death of over 100soldiers yet there wasn't any investigation. These guys use their personal money to buy uniforms, boots, camp beds, camp tents, dagger, torch light and so on. The only thing given to them is the outdated AK rifles with counted groundnuts. We all see how much govt is releasing every year yet there's nothing to show for it. For those blaming the guys, have u ever seen your colleagues killed like a chicken in an avoidable circumstances before? If no, then you have no right to judge them. I was there and know what I'm saying. The guys definitely didn't want to kill the GOC if not, his 21 gun salute would have been done by may 31st.

Lewis Hamilton beat Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg at the Italian GP to take his first pole position in four months.
Hamilton, seeking to close Rosberg's 29-point championship lead, had not qualified at the front of the grid since the Spanish Grand Prix in May, seven races ago.
The tension between the two Mercedes drivers following their collision at the Belgian Grand Prix two weeks ago was palpable - they did not shake each other's hand as they emerged from their cars at the end of the session.
And asked in the post-qualifying news conference whether the team's demand that they do not crash again would be "ringing in their ears" as they race down to the first corner on Sunday, Hamilton replied with a cutting: "It won't be ringing in my ears."

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo took an unexpected victory in the Belgian Grand Prix after a clash between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
Hamilton suffered a puncture when the two Mercedes drivers, battling for the world title, collided on lap two.
Rosberg's front wing was damaged in the clash but it was changed at his first stop and he fought back to take second.
Rosberg is now 29 points ahead of Hamilton, equalling the biggest lead he has held at any point this season.
Williams' Valtteri Bottas took third ahead of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.
Rosberg passed both after a late pit stop to put pressure on Ricciardo, who gambled on staying out on older tyres and held on to win by three seconds.
But the race will be remembered for the incident between Hamilton and Rosberg on the second lap - which was presumably the cause of the boos Rosberg received on the podium.
Hamilton, starting second, had snatched the lead from his team-mate at the start, as Rosberg also lost a place to Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel.
Rosberg reclaimed second place from the world champion up the long Kemmel straight, and a lap later closed in on Hamilton in the same place.
The Englishman defended to the inside and Rosberg tried to pass him around the outside of the first right-handed part of Les Combes.
The move did not come off and as Hamilton turned into the left-handed part of the chicane, his left rear tyre was caught by Rosberg's front wing endplate, damaging the wing and puncturing Hamilton's tyre.

numericalguy: Guy! cool down, your blood too dey hot grin grin grin

Any building construction should involve qualified professional like Electrical engineers, Builders, Architects, Surveyors, Mechanical engineers and Civil engineers. Builders alone cannot handle everything. grin
I have worked in construction sites with all the above guys and all I can say is that we are a team.
I understand you but COREN has enough in their cupboard already, they should just allow corbon to deal with building construction
PropertiesRe: COREN Wants Death Sentence For Owners Of Collapsed Buildings by Fadelex(m): 9:44am On Aug 17, 2014
COREN should set their priority right. Building construction is not the job of COREN. NIOB(Nigeria Institute of Building) is the body that owns building construction while the regulatory body is CORBON (Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria). engineering is a very wide field where COREN should be making a lot of effort to sanitize but they're looking for where they'll get quick cash by dabbling into building construction. make I catch COREN for my site he will show me where it is stated in the national building code that COREN should regulate building construction.

Lewis Hamilton fought up from a pit lane start and a first-lap
spin to finish third as Daniel Ricciardo beat Ferrari's Fernando Alonso to win a sensational Hungarian Grand Prix. And there may well be words behind the scenes at Mercedes after Hamilton refused orders to let team-mate Nico Rosberg pass by during the race. Hamilton judged a thrilling wet-dry race perfectly to hold off title rival Rosberg, who finished fourth.
The result reduced Hamilton's deficit to Rosberg to 11 points.
A spectacular last 10 laps featured a three-way scrap for the
lead, with Ricciardo passing Alonso for the victory with three
laps to go.That left the Spaniard to desperately hold off Hamilton and the rapidly closing Rosberg over the remaining three laps.

VocalWalls: Good afternoon sir,

It is laid on a smooth wall surface, painted or just plainly plastered.

Semi-screeding is done on the wall to guarantee a smooth surface.

Wallpapers have several types, the best is vinyl, you can wipe off stains with a warm damp cotton cloth, it can last for as long as you want it to, if not altered, more than 5 years.
okay thanks.... will introduce it to my clients

WELCOME TO HUNGAROROING- the home of Hungarian grand prix.

Lewis Hamilton looks in good shape to score a vital pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix after setting the pace in final practice. The Mercedes driver, who has not been on pole for five races, beat team-mate Nico Rosberg by 0.047 seconds
Hamilton heads into Sunday's race wanting to cut Rosberg's14-point championship advantage ahead of Formula 1's four-week summer break.
The Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo were
third and fourth. Rosberg had three attempts at setting a fast lap in the final minutes of the session and although he edged closer he could not beat Hamilton's mark.
The German set a time on his first lap that was 0.453secs
slower than Hamilton's opening gambit but had lost time
running wide at Turn 12. He closed to within 0.229secs and then 0.047secs on his next two flying laps, while Hamilton returned to the pits before the end of the session.
The Englishman has been fastest in all three practice sessions
at the Hungaroring this weekend.
Williams' Valtteri Bottas was fifth, ahead of the Ferraris of
Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen.
Alonso was 0.049secs quicker than Raikkonen despite running
wide at the first corner on his fastest lap.
McLaren's Kevin Magnussen was eighth, ahead of the Toro
Rossos of Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniil Kvyat, the second
Williams of Felipe Massa and Jenson Button's McLaren.
Button was 0.6secs slower than Magnussen and again
appears to be struggling to match the Danish novice's pace.

Qualifying session starts by 1:00pm Nigerian time..... see you then

it's been an intriguing season in formula 1 especially with the championship battle between Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and nico roseberg. the German is ahead of Hamilton with 14points but the racing gods has not been kind to Hamilton having retired twice this season to roseberg single retirement, Hamilton has also had technical failures in qualifying but the 2008 world champion is leaving no stone unturned.
Reigning world champion, Sebastian vettel has endured his most difficult season in formula one having been outrun by his rookie teammate Daniel Ricciardo of Australia, vettel is yet to secure a pole position this season and his only podium finish comes in Spain as he finishes 3rd in a race won by Ricciardo. the Australian youngster has proven to be the real deal as he has claimed the only non-Mercedes win of the season.
Williams is having a fantastic season also but that is largely due to superb performance of valeri bottas of Finland, Felipe massa's has endured a very difficult season as has been unable to finish 5 races.
evergreen driver, Fernando Alonso of Ferrari has been superb also but there's little he could do with the "out of the world" pace of the Mercedes.his teammate and former world champion, Kimi Raikkonen has not been that fantastic and speculation is that the italian outfit might drop him next season.
pastor Maldonado has also improved his record as the dirtiest formula one driver in recent years as he has had 5 crashes already. his lotus teammate, Roman Grosjean of France has been able to maintain the momentum for the team.

for me, the best race of the season so far has to be Bahrain grand prix where we see some wheel-to-wheel drive from teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Roseberg. there's also controversy in Monaco grand prix when Nico Roseberg deliberately brings out yellow flag to terminate Lewis Hamilton's flying lap in the qualifying session in order to secure the pole position. Roseberg eventually claimed victory.

this promises to be a very interesting page here... so if you're a formula one lover, you've found yourself in the right place

Ngwakwe: By these two statements below, The Secretary-General of ASCSN, Mr.
Alade Lawal is lying

The organisation also stated that records at its disposal showed clearly that the staff strength in the entire public service was about 870,000, and not 1.2 million being carried about by the minister, “unless there is a hidden agenda somewhere.”

- whereas the staff strength of the core civil service is about 100,000, as against 870,000 staff for the entire public service.

Who are core civil servants?
plz seek knowledge b4 accusing someone of lying... core civil servants are those that works in ministry, schools, agencies, parastatals and the likes while public servants are police, military, doctors, paramilitaries, the diplomatic corps, governors, ministers, lawmakers and so on. so if you calculate no of those in d federal parastatals tge man may not be far from the truth...

in as much as I condemn the killings of civilians in Gaza, I believe Israel has the right to self-defensed herself from the evil called hamas, let's not forget that this started with the killing of 3 Israeli teenagers and Netanyahu warned there will be repercussions, when Israel killed a Palestinian in retaliation the next thing hamas did was to fire mortar.... hamas is deliberately using civilians to shield themselves by asking them not to leave after Israel urged them to do so. south africa wanna play freedom card, this isn't about freedom, it's about defending yourself.

rudedough: PUNCH NEWSPAPER has lost its credibility. It is now known as an APC propaganda media house.

Sanusi may be pleading with the President to reconsidered his decision but PUNCH NEWSPAPER and their unceasing propaganda machine are inciting Nigerians that Sanusi is daring the President.

Sanusi has worked hard with the President all these while, he's one of the reason our economy stands at No. 1 in the world today. I think the APC wants the President to sack Sanusi and loose his most valuable assets.

These APC politicians don't care about us or our country's economy, they care more about getting into power. They don't mind playing politics with the future of Nigerians. The desperation is obvious and I am 100% sure Sanusi will not dare the President in anyway. Sanusi is educated and not a thug like ****** the frog eye APC chieftain. Rudedough is not buying this $hit.
I've been following your political analysis and I must give it to u that you've got something upstairs.. but plz, don't blame opposition for any misfortune of d govt. Sanusi wrote to the president since September 2013 but one of d bad attitude of d president is non-attendant to correspondence. just like numerous bills d Natl assembly has sent to him but refused to accent or reject. if the president had reply to that letter in Sept, it wouldn't have become a public debate in Dec. president Jonathan has done some commendable things but d fact is that he's performing below expectations. and we need a viable opposition to put d govt on his heel.
