there was a thread like this last year and a guy was claiming human right. the camouflage is their uniform, plz steer clear of it. so many people are using camouflage to harass fellow civilians while some are using it to perpetrate evil. you'll be severely dealt with if they catch u wit it. no law permits u to put on military uniform. it is called impersonation. trying to be who you aren't if you have criminal code acts, it's clearly stipulated in chapter 110 and it's punishable by law. section 111 even bar sellers from selling uniform to unauthorized person |
Russia have d worst history of air safety in d whole world. and I really suspect a terrorist attack on this plane. the pilot has attempted to land the plane twice initially, landing on d runway and it exploded. Vladimir Putin should give d black box to Edward snowden to analyse. RIP to d dead |
OluwaDrey: why not take a trip and see for urselffear God o, guessed you're one of those peedeepee member that couldn't get money to share again. aregbe for 2014. make pdp no waste time and money to contest o |
Jenams: u r a sycophant! My NASS rep built lecture halls fully furnished in all our community schools, community bore holes in strategic locations and even awarded a contract to grade roads in my constituency. And yet u say it is nt a lawmaker's responsibility to provide social amenities! Mr ITK, do u knw hw much our NASS members collect for constituency projects annually? U r a syncophant I repeat.hmmmm.. if he didn't use the constituency allowance on the citizens nobody will probe him, so many of them sees the constituency allowance as their personal money. and if you're coming from that angle, that means no politicians including Jonathan, fashola, akpabio and so on deserve to be praised 'coz whatever they did they used state resources. bros, for dis man to even send his wards to public school it's commendable and for him to yield to suggestion of his little daughter deserved to be applauded. |
akereconfi: so you can't drive home your point without an INSULT attached to itand maybe you grew up with people like Arthur Eze... that's y you go about sowing seed of disharmony in every thread u visit. sorry for d insult though |
akereconfi: Very Soon they will FLOOD this threadcan't u grow up for once? why must u intentionally invite them by pretending to be a soothsayer? it's no more funny... you're the one propagating tribalism... idiat |
Jenams: hello! Wat is dis praise singin all abt? Did he use his personal money to buy d sandals for all d kids or state govt money? To me, he is doin dat to secure his wards for security purpose. He was nt elected to buy shoes but to develop edu infrasture and provide other social amenities.did u read the article or u just can't comprehend it? when did it become the responsibility of a lawmaker to provide social amenities or infrastructure? the man deserves to be encouraged. only if our legislooters will send their children to public schools they would have known that ASUU is on strike for 4 months now |
this story is touching.... can u imagine the kids don't wanna wear sandals because their mates are using slippers while some are barely footed. this is what I've been clamouring for. if children of all lesgislooters, ministers, special advisers, permanent secretaries, and other high ranking government officials are in public universities, ASUU strike woulda been thing of the past. let president Jonathan lead by example by withdrawing his children from American International school, gudu district and enrol them in GSS, tundun wada, zone 4. Obama's children are attending elementary school that average Americans are going. God bless the lawmaker |
abeg which prison? make dem arrange am for prison jare. |
u better go and do omonile lawyer. and stop saying crap here now that your yoruba thiefing lastma agbero has been caught stealing.
deluded fellow, you think everybody think and act like a cave man that you are? it's people like you that make Nigeria to drift backward. go and Aluu-lize him now... idiat |
1: Why did the LASTMA accepted the money & counted it to know if money is complete or not ? 2: Is the LASTMA a cashier ?
law is a very complicated set of rules. you can't accuse someone of bribery unless the money exchanges hands. there's nothing like "intent to bribe". there must be action (give and take) before bribery can take place. I'm very sure the lastma man wanted to extort the motorist but without seeing him pocketing the money, it's very difficult to nail him. even farouk that was captured on tape argued he wanted to use it as evidence. |
HOTWATER: You are disgusting !!wisdom is disgusting in the eyes of a f00l |
this evidence is not actionable in the sense that he collected the money and returned it instantly. before some pple will say I'm supporting corruption, take a look at d scenario. the motorist was arrested for breaking laws and immediately the lastma man entered d vehicle, the motorist brought out his purse and counted some amount of money, he gave it to the officer and after counting the officer returned it claiming it wasn't enough. in the court of law, the officer will simply deny d allegation, he will claim never to ask for d money and that he only collected it to make sure of d motorist intention to bribe his way out. he didn't pocket d money. I hope there's a concluding part to d video to nail him but d video released is not actionable enough |
first and foremost, I'm highly disappointed by the level of tribal/ethnic sentiments that have taken over Nigeria(not only nairaland) these days. can't we just be objective in all we are doin? to all die hard APC, PDPand APGA supporters, I pity most of you cuz all the energy expended on defending these thieves will not yield any result. you really think they care about us? look @ d pictures, the same pdp members now forming apc, putting old wine in a new cup is never gonna work. atiku abubakar has been to almost every political party in search of power not to make Nigeria better. they don't care about us. most of the guys here on nairaland are graduates without job or students on strike, what solution (I mean working solution) has d opposition offered to make Nigeria a better place? all they want is power. Nigerians, plz be wise, they don't care about us, and all their foot soldiers, have they given u work since 2011? 2015 is comin and they are given u cash and you wanna kill yourself for them. let's see these people as individual and deal with them as such. |
DJMONACO: december 32go and use ur concoction... it's time |
tears always roll down my cheeks each time I see children loses either or both of their parents... in a country where both parents cannot successfully cater for d need of d family, how will one parent do it except by God's grace. lost my mum 17years ago and some family members promised heaven on earth only for dem to disappear into thin air few weeks later. but God has been faithful til this day. I pray God will be the father of the children and husband to d wife. |

ignorance is worse than cancer.... aregbesola didn't spend 8billion on procurement of opon imon...he spent slightly above 200million to save 8billion that woulda been used to procure textbooks. I don't know how some people sleep at night with d type of lies they tell here |
taharqa: ....Yea!!! That was exactly what Ibori, Okah and Timipre Silver said.shhhh... Jonathan has nothing to do wit ibori case, if not he woulda been special adviser on Niger delta today... sylva's case is just fighting a loser while okah is being prevented from talking...let them charge d guy just like his brother in south Africa... tbh, Jonathan government has d best history of romancing wit corruption in recent years |
NL1960: Thanks for this. Are these made in Nigeria or are they foreign pics?.these are made in Nigeria....but there are imported ones also |
AK 48: it depends on where u rented the house.a 2 bedroom flat in lekki or asokoro is more than 160,000 naira per month or 2 milla per month.but I'm sure that place is not equivalent of lekki and asokoro.... normal 3 bedroom flat goes for 1.6million in asokoro per annum... that's $10,000 . |
Intelligentman: Brother pls i want to know if you are have built your own or are you a builder? If you are a builder, can you convince me that #15 million will complete a five bedroom flat. The structure i will like is ground-floor = Sitting room with dinning, kitchen, store, laundry room, study room, guest toilet. Then up will be 5 bedroom, family sitting room. Then everywhere will be tiled, landscaping will include interlocking paving material.Cost of supervising.I'm a builder... and with #15million, you'll get a tastefully furnished 5 bedroom duplex. but there has to be one room in ground floor, then you'll have 4 bdrm on d top floor. it's possible with good and honest supervision |
$1,000 per month is not actually that high for rent. Sure he can get cheaper but he also needs to balance that with easy access to work, etc All in all this family made a lot of miscalculations. PS: I've lived in the US since 1986 and I've never been followed so it's a misconception. Keep your nose clean and no one gives a hoot what color of skin you have. At least in my experience but I don't habitate slummy parts or move with dodgy characters.
sir, I'm not tryin to condemn moving to America but my annoyance is with father leaving dependable and reliable job for uncertainty. I bet you went to US in 1986 as a bachelor, alone or to study... not moving your whole family without plan for sustainability |
Eyop: Hello Fadelex,nope.... I dont have any recent one. |
