As against what is obtainable in big organizations and businesses, multi-award winning music producer, Micheal Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, revealed that he has never owed his Mavin staff salary in the seven years of being in operation.

In a recent tweet on his Twitter page, Don Jazzy revealed that while he keeps hearing that entertainers are not serious persons, he can proudly say he has over 35 employees and he has never owed salary since he founded Marvin records seven years ago. He added that not all companies can come out to say such.

“No be say na mouth. I keep hearing entertainers are not serious blah blah blah. I can proudly say I have over 35 staffs and for 7 years of Mavin, I never owed salary. Not all your serious companies can say that,” he tweeted.

This is coming after he recently said that Nigerian youths have failed in rising up to their responsibilities.

“I believe my generation/decade has been weak and almost equally at fault for the state Nigeria is in today. We have been too weak and cowardly to challenge our fathers at the age they built the courage and fought theirs. Not everyone, but I for one have been idle on the fence,” he wrote.

Many people hold the erroneous impression that celebrities especially actors and actresses in Ghana were born rich and never struggled to attain their present status.

The story of one of Kumasi-based finest actors, Bishop Bernard Nyarko changes this narrative as he at a point became homeless and at point shared the same bed with dead bodies just to see the next day with the hope of a change.
He disclosed that after leaving the home of his mother at Parkoso, he literally became a street dweller moving from one corner of the street to the other until he met this friend who was into dressing corpse for burial.

The interview

“That was the job he was into so when he goes to dress the bodies I share the bed somehow with the corpse just to have some rest and begin the next day. That was the situation I found myself just because I helped a brother who later turned to be and enemy and pitched me against my biological mother”, he revealed in an interview Amazing 360 monitored.

Bishop Bernard Nyarko who was almost in tears at a point in the interview, said all these never distracted him from pursuing his dream few years after refusing to stay with his family in London because he believed his destiny was tied to Ghana.

An American man has drowned while proposing to his girlfriend underwater on holiday in Tanzania.

Steven Weber and his girlfriend, Kenesha Antoine, were staying in a submerged cabin at the Manta Resort, off Pemba Island.

Footage shows Mr Weber diving underwater to ask Ms Antoine to marry him.

In the video according to the BBC report, Mr Weber presses a hand-written proposal note against the cabin window as Ms Antoine films from inside.

Ms Antoine, confirming Mr Weber’s death in a Facebook post, said he “never emerged from those depths”.

The Manta Resort told the BBC Mr Weber “tragically drowned while free diving alone outside the underwater room” on Thursday afternoon.

“It is with the deepest regret that we inform that a fatal accident occurred at The Manta Resort on Thursday 19 September 2019,” the resort said in a statement.

Matthew Saus, CEO of the resort, said “everyone is shaken to the core” by Mr Weber’s death.

Mr Weber and Ms Antoine had booked four nights at the resort’s underwater room, which lies approximately 250m (820ft) from the shore.

Nigerian rapper Oladips has just revealed that he once thought of ending his own life.

Oladips made this revelation while reacting to the death of rapper Pele Pele who took his own life on Friday in his Ikorodu home.

According to Oladips, who was formerly signed to Reminisce’s LRR label, he thought of jumping off his balcony one night if not for his friends who stopped him.

Recall a few months ago, he announced his exit from LRR with a song dragging his former boss.

The 2019 Wealth Report which is compiled by AfriAsai Bank has ranked African countries according to their wealth on the continent.

On the ranking, South Africa tops the list with its total High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) where 39,200 people are holding most of the country’s wealth at $649 billion.

Egypt follows with 303 billion and 16,700 holding the country’s wealth. Nigeria follows in the third position with 225 billion with 9,900 wealthy individuals.

Ghana takes up the 7th position making it into the list of richest African countries but many will of course agree to the fact things are really difficult in the country with the recent transport hikes.

A 96-year-old man has finally tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend after being in a relationship for almost 50 years.
James Andorful and 93-year-old Margaret Manuel got married at the Central Assembly of the Church of Pentecost, Ghana on Saturday, August 3.
According to Graphic Online, the couple had cohabited for 50 years and had nine children together before tying the knot.

Congregants at the church gawked in amazement as the couple exchanged their marital vows in a colourful ceremony.
The marriage ceremony was officiated by Reverend James Oko Barnor, the Dansoman District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost.
The jolly pair was donned in matching white attire and could not hold back their joy during the auspicious event.


The two walked hand in hand as they prepared to say their vows and spend a lifetime together.
Their guests also showed up in pearly white clothing and flashed their smiles during photo hour.
In his sermon, Barnor said there have been many divorce cases in times because the couples involved do not understand each other.

He said marriages in times past survived because couples were content with the little things they had and understood each other regardless of the circumstances.
“If two couples can live under one roof for 50 years in a relationship, it means they understood each other,” the pastor said.
According to him, to sustain a marriage, couples must desist from comparing their marriages to others and rather appreciate what God has blessed them with.

It is really sad to know this 21-year-old slay queen has been poisoned by his boyfriend allegedly for cheating.

The deceased who is 21 years old died after being rushed to the Lapaz Community Hospital on August 21, 2019.

Vera’s family, a report omgvoices.com sighted on Dailyguidenetwork.com, has revealed that the young lady fell unconscious after drinking a concoction given to her by her boyfriend.

The father of the deceased, Jerry Adu, explained that his daughter had been in a relationship with the suspect for about five months.

On that fateful day, Vera and the boyfriend went out together and returned to the house in the afternoon. After resting for about 30 minutes, the boyfriend came out with a bottle and gave it to Vera’s little brother to dispose of.

Moments after getting the bottle disposed of, the young man left the house leaving the deceased alone in the room.

Some 30 minutes later, Vera called one of her younger brothers to inform that she was feeling weak. She was rushed to the hospital and report was made to the police.

The 29-year-old boyfriend (name withheld) was subsequently arrested by the police for giving the concoction to Vera.

It is not yet known what concoction was made of but talk on social media suggests that the young man intentionally poisoned Vera.

According to the social media reports, the boyfriend suspected the deceased of cheating on him or trying to jilt him and he decided to exact an act of revenge by poisoning her.

Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Favour Ackon-Fletcher, has confirmed the incident and disclosed that the suspect was in custody assisting in investigation.
