Ghanaian lawyer, Maurice Ampaw, has described men who engage in MouthAction, as foolish, perverted and abnormal individuals who must have no place in the circles of reasonable people.

According to MyNewsGh, the legal practitioner said MouthAction does not only deviates from the natural order of sexual intercourse, but also breaches the laws of Ghana. .

Speaking in an interview on Angel FM, Ampaw challenged Ghanaians to feel free to report any persons they may find engaging in MouthAction to the police to effect their arrest. .

“Such matters are not reported because it often involves two willing individuals and so there are no complainants; but if you have any evidence of such acts rush to the police to report it”, he said. .

1. Suharto – President of Indonesia

Suharto certainly deserves to be at the top in this list of the most corrupt politicians. He was the president of Indonesia from 1967 to 1998. He was a veteran of the war of independence and became the army chief in 1965. He was against the pro-Chinese policies of the then President Sukarno. He crushed a coup in 1965 and then moved to replace Sukarno in 1967. The political parties were quite limited back then which led to him being reelected from 1973 to 1998.

Suharto and his family were accused of using power to enrich themselves and their families, gaining millions of dollars through exploiting charities, the embezzlement of funds and the kickbacks gained through different business contracts. The collapse of Indonesia’s economy and discontent from Suharto’s rule led to his resignation in 1998. He was placed under house arrest in 2000 after the revelation that he had embezzled about $5 to $10 billion in illegal funds.
These are the top ten most corrupt politicians in the 21st century. So, does the saying, absolute power, corrupts absolutely, ring true after reading this? Well, these politicians were absolutely corrupt and stole from the people that needed it most. They enriched their own lives by stealing from their own countrymen. 2. Ferdinand Marcos -President of Philippines

Ferdinand Marcos served as the president of Philippines from 1965 to 1986 before being thrown out of power. During his regime, the debt of his country rose from $1 billion to $25 billion dollars.

Reports claim that he stole about $5 billion to $10 billion from a U.S. treasury. He had illegally obtained all his wealth by taking over large private companies and receiving kickbacks from private firms. However, only $4 billion of his wealth has been recovered so far. He died in exile in Hawaii in 1989.
3. Mobutu Sese Seko – President of Congo

Mobutu Sese Seko served as the President of Congo from 1965 to 1997. While in office, he changed the name of Congo to Zaire in 1971. During his regime, he was accused of nepotism and extravagant shopping trips to Paris. Reports claim that he embezzled about $4 to $10 billion dollars.

The nation suffered from debt and inflation during his regime. The political parties opposed him, but he used brute force to prevent any change. In 1997, he was taken out of power by rebel forces. He is certainly one of the top corrupt politicians of the world.
4. Slobodan Milosevic – President of Serbia and Yugoslavia

Slobodan was quite a prominent political leader and president of both Serbia and Yugoslavia. He progressed in politics and became the president of Serbia in 1989. He supported the Serbian forces in Bosnia and Croatia and is widely blamed for the Serbs’ military aggression. He was barred from a third term as President, so he became the President of Yugoslavia.

In 2001, he was charged with bribery and embezzlement of funds and was presented to the tribunal of Hague which charged him. However, he died before his lengthy trial was concluded. He is accused of stealing about $3 billion of the government’s money.

Presidential candidates from 60 political parties under the aegis Joint Forum of Presidential candidates, on Tuesday, faulted the claim by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, that an electronic server was used by INEC during the 2019 presidential election.

They disclosed that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, informed political parties involved in the 2019 elections that it will not transmit results electronically because there was no legal instrument backing such.

Addressing journalists in Abuja, chairman of the forum, Shittu Muhammed, admonished PDP to stop heating up the polity with the server controversy, describing the claim by PDP and Atiku as unnecessary and a deliberate ploy to destroy the integrity of the nation’s electoral process.

He said: “The needless controversy over the INEC Server would have been lawful as it would have been mandatory for the Commission to deploy the server. We are aware that INEC had run pilots on electronic transmission of results. It had informed us that these pilots were deployed in Anambra, Ondo, Ekiti and Osun Governorship elections.

“However, INEC informed all political parties in the election following the withholding of assent by the President that it would not deploy the electronic transmission of results since it would not be lawful to do so.

“We must inform Nigerians now that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was represented in those meetings and we do not know why they are heating up the polity with the server story.

“This INEC Server controversy is a deliberate ploy to destroy the integrity of our electoral process. Can the so-called results from the server be referred to as credible where INEC could not have legitimately transmitted results of the Presidential or any of the other elections electronically?”

Following the commencement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting, PDP has continued to insist that it won the presidential election transmitted into the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, server during the recent poll.

INEC has however maintained that it did not electronically transmit election results during the last poll, hence the claim of a server should be dismissed.

Just yesterday, the tribunal had rejected Atiku’s application to inspect the alleged server used by the INEC, during the last presidential election.

Justice Mohammed Garba, Chairman of the panel had held that granting such application at this interlocutory stage would pre-empt the substantive petition.

Nigerian Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has finally commented on the viral plane seat incident which has been a topic for debate amongst Nigerians.

We had reported that oil mogul, Tonye Patrick Cole had shared the story of a young man who insisted that Wole Soyinka vacates the seat allotted to him on the flight.

Tonye Patrick reporting as an eye witness, shared on social media. In Tonye posts, he shared his thought on the matter saying;

“I couldn’t understand how we got to this point where we no longer have respect for elders, even if are so ignorant of the great global personalities in our midst. Is it too much to ask that an elderly man be allowed to remain in a seat allotted to you in the same business class cabin and the same row?

Wole Soyinka has however referred to the situation as a minor problem.

The Leader of the proscribed secessionist group, the IPOB Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has said that anyone who hates Biafra and is against the creation of the State of Biafra, can never make heaven. According to him, the angels in Heaven speak Igbo language.

Kanu who fled Nigeria after the military invaded his home in Abia state in September 2017, stated this while addressing Biafra supporters in Texas, USA yesterday Sunday June 23rd. Kanu while speaking to his supporters, said

“God gave you a gift in America to rescue us if you like you can leave it. But I can assure you, if you have heard this gospel (Biafra) today, you return to your homes and do nothing, you will never make heaven. Anybody that hates Biafra can never make heaven. In heaven, the angels speak the Igbo language.”

Comparing Biafra to Israel, Kanu said there were attempts by foreigners to dominate Israel, adding that Israel failed to act because “they thought it was a joke.”

“After 2000 years, their land was no longer called Israel, it was called Palestine and they had to fight their ways. The Quoran says Jerusalem belongs to Israel. The Bible says Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. But today, Israel does not have full ownership of Jerusalem because of one mistake.

I hope that the value that has driven Biafra civilization for 5000 years will come back to sustain us for another 5000 years. This evening, we have started something that will culminate in the coming of Biafra.

The sole spiritual head of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, has said that the greed of Nigeria’s leaders is at the root of all the killings in the country.

Addressing a press conference in Calabar, the Chairman of the Publicity Committee of Heavenly Father, the Christ Ambassador Ogar Osim, who represented Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, emphasized that the problem of the country was that political leaders are not sincere but extremely greedy.

“If you look at this Boko Haram issue, it’s because of greed and traceable to political reasons. If you observed what is happening in the country, you will see that, when a particular leader comes up, there will be one issue or the other.

“There was a time when Niger Delta boys were vandalizing pipe lines, kidnapped people and doing a lot of negative things, after a while, Boko Haram surfaced and all these things, if we must tell ourselves the truth, boiled down to the fact that our leaders are not sincere.

“Why our politicians are doing this, is because, they want to be heard, they want to be the only people in control of our resources and all that, but if we take the teaching of our father, of love, of benevolent, and leave greed, selfish, and we put whatsoever we had for the masses, we will have peace.

“So if Nigerian politicians, our leaders, whether political, religious, traditional leader and all that, if they can toe the footsteps of our father, they will be no killing anywhere, all these things will be the thing of the past,” he stated.

Olumba Obu maintained that because of these incessant killings and insecurity, the father established 12 thrones and “with these 12 thrones, he has demonized every throne on earth.

The Rivers State Police Command, on Sunday, rescued six kidnap victims, including four corps members, who were abducted in the Emohua area of the East-West Road.

A kidnap and armed robbery kingpin, identified as Zulu Ogwumike, aka Black Bush, was also killed during a shootout in a separate operation by the personnel of the command attached to the Rumuji Police Station.

The corps members and two other victims were said to be travelling from Lagos to Port Harcourt when the vehicle they were travelling in was stopped and the six of them were seized and taken into a forest in Evekwu, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The vicitms were said to have been abducted last week and had been in captivity for some days before they were eventually rescued.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, said in a statement that the operation that led to the rescue of the corps members was led by the Divisional Police Officer of the Rumuji Police Station, Ademola Adebayo.

Omoni explained that the victims were rescued unhurt and had since been debriefed and ready to be reunited with their families.

He said in a statement, “Today, June 23, 2019, around 7.30am, in our sustained and unrelenting efforts in tackling criminality on the East-West Road, operatives of the Rumuji Police Station, in a sting operation led by the DPO, CSP Ademola Adebayo, stormed a forest at Evekwu in the Emohua Local Government Area, where six kidnap victims were rescued.

“The victims, including four youth corps members, are those abducted last week in a commercial bus travelling from Lagos to Port Harcourt. They were, however, rescued unhurt and have been debriefed. Their families have been contacted for necessary handover.

“The victims are Ogechi Onyema, Chioma Nnaji, Florence Ogeh, Abel Akinduro, Franklin Ayama and Solomon Akinpelu, (two males and four females).

“Earlier yesterday (Saturday), a notorious kidnapper and armed robbery kingpin, Zulu Ogwumike, aka Black Bush, was killed by the same police personnel in a gun duel.”

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Usman Belel, has ordered an increased security on the East-West Road with a view to stemming the tide of crime and arresting the perpetrators.

Belel said the onslaught against criminals in Rivers State was getting fiercer and would be sustained until crime became history in the state.

There was serious pandemonium yesterday after a student of Ekiti State University went mad while coming back from school.

A student of the University Ado Ekiti suspected to be an internet fraudster on Monday afternoon suddenly ran mad while back coming from school.

According to reports, the yet-to-be identified young man was said to have alighted from a ten passenger bus known as Akoto in front of NNPC along Iworoko and stood at the middle of the highway.

The vehicle from which he dropped was said to have loaded from the EKSU Campus.

The student after alighting from the vehicle began to show some display of insanity as he disrupted vehicular movement and attacked passers-by.

The young man in the process damaged handsets and many other valuables of those who tried to help him.

He was seen chanting “Aje oo” “Aje ooo” meaning wealth.

This made many people to suspect that the student may have engaged in some money rituals which eventually went wrong.

Many people were shocked with his different display of madness for over an hour before he was overpowered by a crowd and handed over to the police.

A senior advocate of Nigeria and rights activist, Femi Falana, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari cannot single-handedly approve establishment of State and Local Government Areas police.

In a brief statement in reaction to the recommendation of the Presidential panel on election reforms, Falana declared that the issue of establishing state police is a constitutional matter.

He said President Buhari cannot decide on it.

The senior lawyer said without going through the National Assembly for amendment of the Constitution, whatever decision unilaterally made by Buhari would not work.

I am a very busy woman. I am into so many things. First, I am the chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Delta state chapter, (AGN). I am a politician; presently, the majority leader and counsellor, Aniocha South Local Government Area. I hail from Ogwashi-Ukwu town. I am also the managing director of Last Point Resort; the CEO Regina Daniels Children Foundation; the CEO, Chris Daniel Nigeria Limited; an officer in Director Guild of Nigeria; and a producer.

People feel you pushed your daughter into acting because of money and that you want her to take after you as an actress?

Not really; nobody makes one a star. It’s only God that has the power to lift from nobody to somebody. Yes, I am a good actress who is also talented. But my daughter started when at the age of seven. She loved watching movies and acting at home. Though I didn’t allow her to watch Nigerian movies because of her age, she followed me to locations and made friends with a lot of actresses and actors. Anytime she saw little children on locations, she would beg me to allow her be part of the cast but I would refuse. She kept on pestering me until one day, I allowed her to act in a movie. She was very happy. She started practising at home. Everything my daughter knows about acting I taught her. I encouraged her not to be nervous and she listened to me. She started as low as N5,000. She still acts for free to date if I want her to act. She is humble and very obedient.
