Special Protection Services Limited (SPS) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Manager to oversee telecom infrastructure maintenance operations within the Lagos and Oyo. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Field Service Engineers (FSEs), ensuring efficient diesel supply operations, driving preventive maintenance compliance, and maintaining high service delivery standards across all managed telecom sites. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Supervise and coordinate all telecom site maintenance activities within the assigned region. Ensure optimal uptime and availability of telecom infrastructure, generators, and associated assets. Monitor and improve operational performance across all managed sites. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Field Service Engineer (FSE) Management Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of all FSEs within the region. Allocate resources and manpower effectively to meet operational demands. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve technical and operational efficiency. Ensure prompt response to faults and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Diesel Supply Management Oversee diesel supply, distribution, and consumption across all telecom sites in the region. Monitor diesel stock levels and ensure uninterrupted fuel availability. Validate diesel deliveries and consumption reports. Investigate and resolve diesel discrepancies, losses, or irregularities. Implement controls to prevent fuel theft, wastage, and operational inefficiencies. Preventive Maintenance (PPM) Compliance Ensure all Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities are completed according to schedule. Monitor PPM quality and compliance levels across all sites. Review maintenance reports and implement corrective actions where necessary. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability and performance. Reporting and Stakeholder Management Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders. Escalate critical issues and provide timely resolutions. Participate in customer review meetings and operational performance discussions. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) Compliance Rate Site Availability/Uptime Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) Diesel Accountability and Efficiency Fault Resolution Performance SLA Compliance Team Productivity and Performance Customer Satisfaction Requirements Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in telecom infrastructure maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of telecom power systems, generators, diesel management, and site maintenance operations. Experience managing Field Service Engineers and multi-site operations. Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and reporting tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region. Preferred Qualifications Professional certifications in Project Management, Engineering, HSE, or Telecommunications will be an added advantage. Experience managing telecom managed services contracts and customer relationships.
