Oga what is electric cable made of? is it not rubber?
cane is made of wood and wood is harder than rubber. Stop calling it electric cable as if it was plugged in and she was electrocuted haba!!
Make una fear God na. I have never seen anyone beaten to death with rubber, i know what wood can do to a body especially if hit to the back of the head.
The child watched Porn ho ha and evil spirit enter im body. that spirit has to be cast out old school style and things like koboko, belt 501 and iron hanger were used on us back then. so this child had it good make una stop this useless westernization that wont take us anywhere. every sin get lever, the flogging u give a child that steals meat from pot is different from the flogging u give a child that u caught molesting your goat

so somebody cannot flog his/her child without an idiot coming to post it on social media with a one sided cooked up story.

How did u know the parents kept it carelessly aby did u keep it for them?
God punish u OP for trying to destroy the fabric of our society. I was a kid once and i know children can be very mischievous and inquisitive.
Doesnt she have homework to do, why is she watching movies when the parents are not around. So you expect them to treat her like an american and "Ground her" like an airplane. Well news flash we are not americans. My mama and papa whooped my ass so bad that a part of my nyash is Caucasian. and i thank em for it. If i am beating a child and i see someone with camera phone, wahlahi i will break that phone

Politics / Re: Southern Kaduna Will Join Biafra If Nigeria Breaks Up – John Danfulani by FakoMaybach1: 8:59am On Jul 25, 2017
This is what i expect from people. Biafra is just a name, the ideology is emancipation from fulani hegemony and Lugard contraption. They are the true enemy of Nigeria's progress and the earlier we remove them with their afonja slaves/ minions the better.

I wonder why someone will be comfortable as a second class citizen.
Good work from southern Kaduna, there has to be a paradigm shift, their people cant afford to be used as lab rats anymore

Brienne of tarth. Killing the mountain isnt about skill alone...

If they write it that way then they have spoilt the movie, i was grossly disappointed when Brienne beat the hound.

abeg face the truth, the mountain is not human. they have not brought forward any warrior that can match him. Except maybe his brother sandor that knows the viciousness and possibly weakness of the mountain.

Face it, the mountain is freakishly strong, one punch from him will knock Brienne senseless.

One thin i am sure is that out of 305 of them at least 100 will use that money well. And that is a good thing. FOr those idiots saying he should have built factories, learn today that govt has no business doing business. what govt needs to do is create an enabling environment. Policies that favor business and rochas has taken a step further by providing capital.
I agree it might be a scam, but rochas promised free education and he did it, so why shud he fail at this..this is better than Npower cus he is making them their own boss.

This can lead to massive job creation

Brother you are an intellectual. Your opposing argument is laced with finesse.
But brother the govt has to earn my trust first before pushing for my money. If the squandered the little oil money why wont the squander this. You and i both know that oil cannot compete with efficient taxation. They have to take the first step and we will meet them halfway, let them reduce their salaries, declare their assets before they ask me to sacrifice more.
This is a serious issue we need more contribution and other views to it

Do you want to have a conversation or you just want to chestbeat like the others? This is the major reason I really do not engage many of the igbos in this forum. Let us have a decent conversation and lets raise decent topic rather than post pictures which has not helped the manufacturers but exposing these guys to tribalistic people who might start boycotting their products because they are igbos. You should try as much as possible to hide the identity of these people because we are majorly unloved and we need to still operate unnoticed until we create an economic haven for them to thrive without hate.

I disagree strongly with you brother. There is nothing like bad publicity, some people dont know this products are locally made. Like the cornflakes and crackers biscuits i haven't seen em before.

@OP if you have more paste them, if you studied marketing you will know the power of advertising.

There are some products here that even the biggest tribal bigot must purchase, a yoruba or hausa junkie that needs to drink his codeine to get high will not avoid that cough medicine wey i see there because na yamuri do am.

@mind44 make people see this and make their contributions
Politics / Nigerians Should Say NO!! To (VAIDS) by FakoMaybach1: 3:28am On Jul 16, 2017
Many people are not familiar with this acronym. VAIDS is the Voluntary Assets and Income Declaration Scheme just launched by the federal government.
The scheme is where u "Voluntarily" declare your assets and income and upon that you will be assessed and taxed. It was when the minister was explaining this scheme that she made the remark that beggars will be taxed.
I know she was speaking figuratively but i don't care, let PDP have their day. When the former president Goodluck said stealing is not corruption (which is true according to Nigerian constitution) APC and the south west turned it into a fiasco. So yes what goes around comes around; APC will tax beggars.

Though i kind of blame Davido for this development, you have an Ijebu man as your acting president yet you go about shouting 30 billion for akant; of course he will increase tax.

Jokes aside this new scheme is going to be the proverbial "last straw that broke the camels back". Let me highlight the Ills of this new scheme below.

The common man on the street will pay more

It is no news to you and i that the rich do not pay tax: not that they don't pay at all but they use every legal means to pay as little as possible, this is not only peculiar to Nigeria even trump bragged that he has his ways of avoiding tax. so if this scheme is brought to light it is you and i that will bear the brunt.
Many Nigerians are not aware of the tax implications of their actions, we want the best things in life, use two telephones, have big televisions and most time the average Nigerian spends more than he earns and lives above his means.
This scheme will make sure that all other income accrued to individuals will be highly scrutinized and the common man will end up bearing the full brunt of this law/scheme. The money bet9ja gives u will be taxed, baba ijebu money will be taxed, you pastor and alfa/ imam will be taxed. If beggars wont escape this scheme then who are you?

Nigeria has no moral right to tax its citizens more

Ask not what your country can do for you, omo that one na long thing. Me i go ask. Who Nigeria Epp?

We provide our own water, Lagos is forming mega city yet people still dig boreholes and water corporation is doing a very poor job

We provide our own security ;- almost every estate/ street in the country pays security fee ranging from 500 naira to 1 million. If a robbery is going on and you call the police they will come quickly; that is quickly after the robbers are far gone.At ikorodu people defend themselves from baddoo. Fulani herdsmen are kings of the ring even taking over abuja airport road. Let me not even go to boko haram

We provide our own power;- Fashols has convinced us without every reasonable doubt that power is rocket science. He has shown that a serious govt uses body language or body odor to increase power. Nigerians are left to the mercy of our Birla yamaha and Tiger generators. Generator fumes are Killing off families like the ones buried at port- hacourt.
The Nigerian govt has effectively removed every subsidy existing. We pay for roads indirectly cus every fuel litre u buy a percentage goes for road maintenance, yet we pay toll at lekki. there is no palliative from the Nigerian (APC) govt to the common man maybe Npower sha

Now after all these above we are still asked to "voluntarily" declare our earnings for more tax? you be the judge

Nigeria has enough resources

Countries that tax their citizens in this manner are countries that have little. Their people pay these taxes so that govt can run effectively. Nigeria is i think is the 6th largest oil producer in the world (abeg make una correct me if i am wrong i dont know everything)
Each of the 36 states of Nigeria has one mineral resource or the other. Why should a country so richly blessed by God still try to impose more taxes on its citizens? . You be the judge of that.
What is the guarantee that this new tax will not be squandered on Buhari's parking ticket and health bills?. You be the judge of that
Kayode Fayemi the minister for solid mineral is as silent as a mouse. he started well but i am not hearing from him lately hope all is well.

It will increase SARS harassment and other embarrassment

For those of us that know what people passed through in the hands of TAMA agents during fashola's regime. you will agree with me that this VAIDS is looking similar to what Lagos state govt planned. Fashola even went as far as implementing television and radio tax. When his enforcers came to my area omo na beating dem collect go back. They can investigate the "Voluntary" declarations and individuals will be slammed with "Based on Judgement" assessment. they will be like "chai see as u fresh, bobo ur tax na 100k"

Nigerians are complaining of the excesses of Federal special anti-robbery squad SARS, omo una neva see anything. once this scheme takes foot a policeman can just stop you ask you for evidence of tax compliance and then charge u with tax evasion. Nigeria as we know it is very good at spoiling foreign ideologies, take a look at our democracy and legislature. now tell me will this be any different?

I know the government is talking diversification of revenue; Fancy word but this is not how to go about it.

Corruption is our main problem, APC is just rustling the leaves and the root is strong. Like they told Jonathan in 2012 i also say to them Kill corruption and not Nigerians with tax.

npowerng:

Those who stole billions do not fall under the purview of the of N-Power. Doing the wrong thing because someone else is the same is very stupid.
Start monthly clearance, NySC does it and it is very effective. The Nigerian labor law states that every contract must be written, Npower has no written contract and your case will not fly in court.

Stop being archaic this is 2017, open a monthly clearance platform where applicants can print clearance form and upload it there. once clearance is done before 28th of every month then payment is made.

Oya how do u want to punish culprits na with police? una go go court tire, cus u have no case. Start monthly clearance now
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Warning To All Employed People Applying For N-Power by FakoMaybach1: 12:08am On Jul 14, 2017
It is Illegal for Npower to prosecute anyone for taking any job or for having a job and taking part of the program.

It is not a crime to have two jobs, neither do i know any part of our constitution that stipulates punishment for absconding from work.

Npower needs to up their game, Monthly clearance should be done like NYSC and if no clearance no pay QED.

Stop making empty threats that are not constitutionally backed.

When the president inaugurated this program it was as a social benefit, persecuting people and using police to harass the youth will only put the president in a bad light.

Npower has to start monthly clearance, no clearance no pay. Corruption is fought with a system and not by Tigbuo Zogbuo. Threatening fire and brimstone when it is unconstitutional is just a waste of time and breath, even a charge and bail lawyer will get offenders off the hook.

The terms and agreement of npower did not state that there is any criminal charge if the person absconds, the only place that has a clause is that they should resign if previously employed, but no penalty was added to that clause.

@OP i know you are connected to Npower, start monthly clearance now it is not too late, this will curb absenteeism and truancy for the principals will not jeopardize their position.

Honesty is the best policy yes thats true but it is just a policy, without a system to back it up it remains a theory

I write this with deep sorrow in my heart.
1. whatever made Mbaise people believe they have been marginalized (if such a word should enter the church) is what baffles and saddens me.
2. That Mbaise laity should support their priests in this dance of shame. are there no reasonable people in Mbaise?

This is so painful and i am really saddened by this matter, i pray peace returns to that land; this case will forever weaken the church in Mbaise. it was a lose lose battle, no one came out better.
May the gates of hell never prevail over the holy church. Amen
