Take off mode about to be activated. At least he's enjoying immunity before it expires. Its a face saving measure for him because irrespective of who wins the election, if he is still within the shores of this country once the new gov is sworn in, Fayose will be picked up and this govt will treat his shit real good. |

dangotesmummy: she went home, thought about it and sought advice from her elder sis who is a lawyer.that one advised her to request for a transfer to another branch.
So when teniola got to the meeting she requested sir ill want to gain more work experience and work in a digferent envioronment.i will want to work and meet with new people.like you said sir,ive worked here for 5 years.please sir with all sense of humility can you grant me the opportunity to work with different peiple so that i can gain more knowledge in being a more effective and productive employee
Her boss had no other choice than to approve of her transfer Na so she use style dodge her ogas schemes.his attention shifted away from her to other staffs.
So in handling office politics like any other politics
You need 1.tact 2.wisdom 3.diplomacy 4.foresight 5.vision for yourself 6.spoting a trap when you see one 7.avoiding distractions like office gossip, can i charge my phone in your office,i like your suit can you help me buy one,ill give you the money 8.breaking office unwritten codes i.e telling your boss her lipstick is too much (even if it is mind your buisness, thats not why youre there), 9.respect everyone whether youre older than them or not 10.even if a co worker is making psses or advances towards you, dont ever fall for it.it might be a trap from bosses or colleagues,if they are looking for someone to lay off and replace 11.no office sex is ever coded no matter how smart or careful you are.one day you will be careless in the heat of the moment and someone will know.he might use that as an opportunity to blackmail you or begin to gossip about till it gets to the ogas ears.in addition avoid office quickies no matter how much agro hold you.many offices these days have hidden cctv.theres a case of an organization.i dont want to mention the name.its a very big and popular organization in nigeria and an insider told me of 2 employees doing quickie by the corridor of the toilet and cctv camera captured them.every action was seen by the oga and now they are facing disciplinary actions.this is a guy that was given priviledges as an oga but because of konji both of them are at the verge of loosing their jobs 12.never ever sexually harass or try to take advantage of your surbodinates.it backfires and theyre the ones that will plot your downfall and sell you out to the oga.treat them with respect and talk to them with courtesy, married or not
13.If youre looking for wife or husband, look elsewhere not amongst your colleagues or surbodinates. 14.all these my office wife jokes or my office husband jokes breed messy office politics.stay away patapata 15.office preaching or disrribution of tracts.biko keep your religious beliefs to yourself 16.except oga personally decided to hold fellowships every morning before work starts, dont start it especially if your oga Is not of the same religious faith with you.it breeds unnecessary office religious politics wahala 17.dont encourage any female colleague if youre a man to be bringing food for you from home Very educative. Many thanks. |

dangotesmummy: Office politics is even more dangerous than Abuja politics
A friend of mine was jisting me about how her crafty boss set a trap for her because he wants to bring in his candidate and have a tenable excuse to lay her off and some other targets
So he called for an office meeting of all the staff and said he has been noticing that there's not much friendly relationship between his employees and he's not happy about that. He now called her name. This was how it went
Boss: teniola Teniola: sir
Boss: You have been working here for the past 5 years and you have done well so far and contributed your expertise to the development of this company so I want to promote you to xyz position however, look at all these employees well, who do you want that will work with you and will be obedient to you and not disrespectful. Someone you can talk with and he or she will listen.chose from amongst these categories Boss points his hands towards groups of people seated at the other end. (The people he pointed to have masters degrees) but she has only bsc with experience. According to the boss he said these are just fresh msc holders just fresh from school with no job experience whatsoever so I want them to learn on the job from you
Teniola knew that was a lie and he was just using that excuse to camouflage his real motive
This was because teniola had earlier complained that her surbodinates are rude and disrespectful to her ,now the boss is like the proverbial chief that put a hole on the ground and asked the man to seat on a chair where there's hole on the ground. He wants her to by herself make the choice so she won't have the justification to complain or reprimand them when they misbehave and the boss will be like shebi you complained the other time that Mr A was rude to you, now I gave you the opportunity to choose from people who are more educationally qualified even than you to work with you since they will show more maturity and you are complaining again. That shows your own is too much or you sef get problem and you're not a good leader that can carry everyone along. So I would like you to step aside so another person more qualified can take up the job. THAT WAS HIS END GAME
what then did teniola do. She said
Thank you sir for giving me this great privilege to choose from amongst these intelligent men and ladies you recommended to work with me but can you give me some time to think about it before I make my final choice?
Boss: OK but I give you a week
Fast forward to a week
Boss: so what's your conclusion, who will make a good surbodinate for you?

Hmmm. I read your story and I have been following the comments (abi na analysis from the intelligent guys here). So make I add my own: 1. I agree with those that say the guy does not love you as much as you love him. 2. I seem to agree that if he is married, he may have one or two persons distracting him or that occupies the space. Maybe that is why he does not want you visiting. 3. Me I dated my wife for about 9 years - from when I was in my university days or so till I finished school, service, then come dey hustle for work. We were in different states. Sometimes I no get bread (money) to go see her. But she will always try to come see me. Ask me wetin we dey do wen we see sef? Only kiss and smooch, no sex! Yes oh, no sex. So I married her a virgin. 4. The point I am making is every relationship has it own challenges and expectations. It's not easy though. In my case it was fun. That time sef no GSM phone na . 5. My advice, I suggest you see him or him to see you. Important thing is that you guys should meet (even if you no sleep for him house ) and discuss......lay the cards down. From there a mature lady will be able to tell one a guy is serious or not. 6. Above all my sister, pray, pray and pray to God to guide you, to reveal the hidden secrets to you. Don't rely on only your sense. |

Thank God for ensuring all passengers arrived safely. However Dana Air would need to seriously work on airworthiness of its aircrafts. Yes granted that they have acquired a lot of awards or certification after their last incident; these all to boost travelers confidence. Yet some people have not flown in the planes no matter what. Definitely this safety nearmiss will strengthen the resolve of this category of persons and others to have a rethink. Once again we thank the Almighty God |

ademide0710: Every marriage should be built on trust, very important. I know how much my husband earns, when he got a new job he shows me his employment letter. I have my business too. I'm not interested in his money. The trust we have for each other has helped our family so far. He does his responsibility as a husband and father. Whenever his finance down, he finds it so difficult to approach me for money but I always beg him to collect from me,after so much persuasion he stills return when his financial buoyant . When we go for shopping, I make payment at times but his not always comfortable with it. He believes his the head of the family but to me we are to help and support each other. I bless the day, I met that man. . This is how the home should run ideally. I pray God to keep and sustain your marriage madam. |
