Washing a car or not washing is not a problem at all.

Most teenagers and post teens need to be reminded to do a lot of things in the house.

Please do not intervene in husband and wife matter though he is your brother.

His children are no longer kids and should be handled wisely.

If they don't wash his car, the man should wash his car by himself. It's no big deal. I wash my car myself despite having big teenagers. They do once in a while though.

I have consistently faced this challenge. Please don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Why not let him know outright and that you feel hurt. What is difficult there.

Somebody you should give his size and ground him from watching TV for weeks, you're here sounding defeated. If you cant control him now, I wonder when hes now a teenager what you'll do.

Turn on the tv station you want to watch. If he starts to react, give him a Stern look and if he doesn't behave, get the cane and whip his ass real hard. Yes hard because he seems to have grown tougher than you. So you need to break him down. I know you'll think I want you to kill your child. No! Just a strict dicipline to reset his brain otherwise, like you said, it will affect his academic performance and once that happens at the foundational stage, you might never get it right again.

In my years of experience as a teacher, I've observed that the slow leaners are the ones who are always glued to the TV. During class sessions, they won't respond but during break period you need to see them downloading all they saw in the cartoon movie with demonstrations too and you'll be like so this child can be this active and expressive... Only in the wrong things and not in their studies. Im talking about up to basic 5 level.

Yesterday, some of my basic 5 students were like, "miss J, this question is too difficult" during exams. And I was like, move to the next question then. And these are very cheap questions I set out of pity. If they studied instead of watching cartoons, they probably will not have difficulty answering those questions.

What I'm trying to bring out here is.. children naturally dont want to do the right thing any longer and if you allow them, you'll be the one to bear the brunt in the end.

Very interesting thread. Hmmm. Love is good and money is good in marriage. Notwithstanding his state presently, as a lady, ask yourself, does he have a drive to succeed? What is he doing to earn a living? I mean a man must strive to live, to feed, even if it means working in a car wash or starting one, looking for construction sites to work, starting a business no matter how small etc. If you see such determination in him, then you're good to go, cause chances that he will succeed with 'two chasing ten thousand' is there

However, if he's a lazy bone, to with no drive and determination, please find your bearing.

Above all, pray and let the Holy Spirit guide you because your way and thoughts could be completing different from His.

Am residing in Calabar amd i have been to Akwa Ibom, in terms of infrastructure Akwa ibom is miles ahead of Cross River and Uyo is far far far ahead of Calabar.But there is more money in calabar than uyo, better enjoyment spots and leisure facilities in calabar,more Keke tricycle than cars in UYO, infact with the julius berger fine roads in uyo na keke full am.In all Uyo is more friendly to visitors both for leisure or business trip,less i forget,kidnapping, robbery and cultism is an issue in calabar. Both calabar and Uyo are far better than most state capitals around for tourism.

God created marriage and if you desire it, you'd get it. We live in this part of the world where most of our forefathers did some things on behalf of their children with adverse consequences either knowingly or in ignorance.

Having said that irrespective of the deliverance you've done, I would still recommend you wholeheartedly undergo that of MFM. Though not a member, theirs is very effective.

In addition, make yourself presentable, neat, be friendly, smell good, have positive attitude to life, don't get yourself worked up and trust in God. Be financially independent and just live life as comfortably as you can afford. Build investments. But remember that marriage is never an achievement in life. Those you're able to impart positively including your environment and winning souls for Christ is the real deal.

I think it's high time we understand Nigeria's educational system. We were trained as job seekers n not as job creators and until we understand that many courses are becoming obsolete in the 21st century,we won't go anywhere. OP, as a child of God, quitting your union is not an option, cause you must understand the deep meaning of marriage. She's scared and so you must be there a be strong for her. You're the priest of your home and so should assert that God given authority to declare fruitfulness unto your wife, encouraging her with the word of God. Nobody will do it for you.

You must bring her out of the level of fear to the level of building up her faith in God, that with HIM all things are possible. You should know that since no animal is barren, man that He created in His image and likeness cannot be barren and so your wife will give birth in due season. However, both of you must trust God.
