AgricultureRe: 500,000 Naira From One Plot Of Land In 90 Days. by FarmTech(mod): 9:40pm On Jan 17, 2020
Pistotita:
Thanks bro!

I am used to such attitude. Hatred towards me is not an issue at all. I have lived with skin heads that hate blacks and I survived. It is no big issue. My challenge is just one thing: hackers. That boy called Lofarms sent hacking stuff to my email and I showed it on my thread. Hmmm! Why? Because he felt I was hiding info from him. And i had helped him with choice of seeds he should use. He read a concept on my thread but missed it, and I helped him interprete it. And many orher things. But he wanted me to start telling him brands of fungicides, etc....which I said no to. If I see him as a responsible farmer, I will assist him. I have given recipes to NL farmers. Even active ingredients that cannot be found in Nigeria. Many of them asked me how I know which work. I laughed and told them to try what I recommended. What I have passed through, hmmmmm... And they always see the result. No way i will formulate chemical and mildew will disturb. Who born am? But caution is needed. I have assisted many here who contacted me with increasing germination rate. Till date those whom I gave those secrets are grateful. But you never see then publish them here. They also know the dangers in them. I do not talk about microbes because the topic is deadly and dangerous. And workers will be exposed to infections because they are usually careless. I have explained all but they do not want to accept. They want to force me to tell them what is not there. You know how Nigerians are stubborn. War Against Indisciple comes to my mind. Do not cross major road, but use pedestrian crossing...and you see over 99% crossing major road right under pedestrain bridges in Lagos. Lol. Until Buhari came in 1983 and started flogging stubborn people. Same is happening here.

Now, can you even see that Okoro has been super charged? Let him be honest with himself here. Ask him the question if he will ever advise his enemy to use hose to irrigate? And he was the same person attacking me that drip is a waste. He tested it, and what? None of these people wanted to move into modern way when he was promoting hose. And I came in. Look at how the game is changing. Okoro thinks I am sad. Lol. I am very happy for him. I just want Nigeria to be better. Can he try 1 ha every whatever week with hose? Lol. And let him be honest with himself here...he has been spending less on petrol, fertilizer and workers so that tge cost of buying drip is quickly covered. Except he wants to continue deceiving himself. Same principle applies to mulch. But tgey still fo not know. Which soil disease will kill tomato plant when soil test, the right microbes, and mulch are used. I want to see. But these ppl want me to teach them how to use rain during rainy season to grow tomato when I do not use it. If i have to use rain, it will be anorher research and presently it is what i am even trying to optimize. I do not want peoole to worship me. It is fine.

The other issue is fraud which I am against. And that has to do with healthserve who has other accounts which are kunleweb and atlanticfire. My brother, it is clear that the same person owns these accounts. And I have shown it again and again that this person is a smart thief. I initially did not know him, but i bursted one of his scam and he decided to launch attacks with healthserve. And he was shocked i could link all his three powerful accounts he has built over time which he is using to sulynchronize shady deals. Is this not what cyber security is about?

Spam bot is meant to catch some things so as to discourage fraud. And honest people might be caught in it. But as time goes on honest people quickly adjust. And scammers are dealt with more. Same thing here. You do not need to ask me to prove that this man had already scammed. Post evidence can be late. But what we need is preventive measures. And I have shown it here that this man has 3 multiple accounts with same pattern of tryimg to defraud NL. See, his plan us to lure people.

Sir, I told him I will get him. And i was suppose to be silent, but I noticed a weakness in him which I used to show the pattern common to all the accounts. If you get rid of these accounts, you have succeded in killing his network. Sir.... i dont mind. Get rid of my account too. I have nothing to lose as all my followers will follow me again. I will just open pistotitA×××. What people do not undertand is that I purposely want to dosturb the peace of all so that those three accounfs will be deleted, and if mine is deleted too...fine. i just want to achieve one goal...to get rid of those 3 accounts. It is a fair play to me if you remove mine too. I am ready to sacrifice it for that man to be handicapped. He cannot open kunleweb2 healthserve2 atlantifire2. Of course if he does he has shot himself. We will make refence to it and people will avoid him. We have destroyed his weapons. He will have to open another moniker entirely. And he needs like 6 months to build again. As soon as we see such pattern again on agric thread, we expose him. If this can be done, he will be frustrated.

Why not create hostile systems for hackers and scammers? The system available now is a good platform for them to hack and deceive people. Look at this case very well. It is for the good of NL.

Like you have written here, I have backed down. Actually, he was the one who attacked me again on my health thread with his atlanticfire moniker... and I addressed him....he came to my agric thread..i blasted him.....and he is fond of the same pattern. He quickly mentioned monikers. If you check well, peoole of the same character respond now. Lol. Even those he used to call told him that the handwriting is all over the place. He was abused in investment section, blasted in agric, called scammer in business, etc.. everything is there. And he was frustrated to the extent of telling me he has reserved money to buy his own coffin and not mine....and he was talking about blood flowing. Yet, nothing was done. I do not care about his numerous monikers, what i care more about are the 3 monikers which he has built like a responsible consultant. These 3 should be deleted. So, i thought deeply that....one day...you will just delete the 4 of us. And to me...i win. I do not care. But since you have voiced out your mind and asked me yo back diwn, I will back down.

But i wish you guys should look into these issues very well, and do something about them. Really, i was ready to sacrifice my account to get rid of those 3 monikers.

Bless you!
..
Ok. I will look into the matter and see what I can do.

thanks for the tip how her we have ridomil good and cabriduo (I hope I got the spelling) on standby , on a Neighbours farm that uses drip irrigation he also had fungi attack. We have already started spraying fungicide and insecticide to control the effects of fungi and whiteflies. We will be using trellis net
.
Pls. Can u list the insecticides you are using?

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.. use nursery tray.. you can do the nursery indoors protected from pests like rats lizard, or you can also use raised beds and cover with treated mosquito net.. nothing will go near it
.
Are lizards also pests? I have heard this a number of times but I've never experienced it. I see them as beneficials that eat grasshoppers and other pests.

my work at vegetable city ogun state has been a real eye opening experience and no matter how high tech your farm can be it always comes down to tough nitty gritty sweaty work under the sun, definitely not for the weak or faint hearted,we are on a mission to rename this farm from vegetable city to vegetable country.with every two weekly planting of 30,000 cucumbers I think we will do just that.

@Pistotita. I perceived that u have been disappointed in the past by people u helped. But don't let that affect u too much because such is life. Even Jesus himself was badly hurt by some people like Judas. So let's take it easy. In fact, let's stop this arguments and move forward. What have we learned so far? Pls, everyone shud take it easy.

Your response is completely off the points I raised.
At the bolded, am I the one who complained about grammars? Did I make a complaint to you about someone else grammar? Is it a grammer issue that I raised? The fellow that raised grammar issue is up here, why can't you direct the response to him?

The truth is the fire you lighted was technically quenched by the mods. Because they don't want it to spread beyond reasonable control.

That shows that u agreed with user my2chain and also blamed the mods for hiding his post for login users. How is that even possible? I am logged in and I can see the post.

One thing u have to know about NL spam control is this. If u are a spammer, mods can delete a lot of ur posts with a single click - both useful and useless posts. This can affect ur posts in different forums like business, religion, computers etc. But in this case, I don't really know what happened.

But I can see the post. Check again. Why would mods want to delete useful posts? Both Okoroemeka and the grammer guy are all welcome here. If u don't like his grammers, stop reading his posts. I like him bc of his advance approach to agric. Before he even started posting I have been looking in that direction - beneficial soil microbes, compost tea, bio fungicides and insecticides etc. Okoroeneka on the other hand, is very direct and practical and I like that too. We are all here to learn. So let's encourage each other.
AgricultureRe: Please How Can I Create A Dry Poultry/chicken Manure? by FarmTech(mod): 1:39am On Jan 14, 2020
Buying at that price will eat deep into ur profit. Better take time and find a very large poultry farm closest to u and buy from there. Such farms will sell cheap because they want to dispose the manure fast. U can also look for pig farms or cattle slaughter markets.

The same parents that will get to School party and ask the DJ to play Soapy are now complaining that there is lather all over the house. So you allowed Naira Marley music in your house before? I mean for you to be banning it after the harm is done.
.
Majority of parents encourage their children to sing and dance immoral songs. Yet they go to church every Sunday or they regard themselves as Christians. The same mouth that is used to praise God is also used to glorify sexual immortality and love of money.

Parents should ban schools from playing worldly/vulgar songs in school buses and children's birthday parties.

It's so bad government cannot regulate music and movies.
True talk. Churches also have a lot to do wrt music, modesty and other fore runners of sexual immorality.

sanmibukunmi:
thanks..... I rear the west African dwarf breeds. these are the breeds that are common in our environment... they are very hardy and very prolific but have slow growth rate......
what made me loose them basically was the experimental feeds I was giving to them cos I made sure I gave DM all necessary drugs before commencing. I discovered that when you give ruminants too much of concentrates or too much of fresh green grasses it can cause some sort of imbalance in their digestive system which then leads to diarrhea. if the diarrhea persists, they loose energy fast and they die. after discovering this, once I noticed they had diarrhea, the first thing I do is to remove them from the feed. u tried getting electrolytes for those animals seriously weak but I couldn't. so all I did to curb it was to take them off the feed and give them anti diarrhea drugs such as ravax. some people will say infections also cause diarrhea but for me I noticed after taking them off feed and given then the ravax, they returned to normal wellbeing. so I will recommend when you notice some thing like this, the first line of action is to cure the diarrhea then you can go ahead with some anti biotics if you are sure of an infection. electrolytes could be hard to get so am recommending paying full attention to animals so as to notice the diarrhea very early.... it's one of those things I failed to do when I first started.

PS - am not an expert. just still learning. am sure other pple on the thread can contribute more.
.
u can get electrolyte from vet stores. Some of them also contain multivit and minerals.
.
Ruminants in general will die if you feed the too much concentrate or if you change their feed too quickly or suddenly. The new flush of grass that grows at the beginning of the rainy season can also cause deadly problem. AgricultureRe: Please How Can I Create A Dry Poultry/chicken Manure? by FarmTech(mod): 11:46pm On Jan 12, 2020
The price at which u buy is quite high. Find somewhere else. A cement bag of manure is N100.:
.
I raise poultry and I don't bother to dry the manure. I just bag it and store and it will dry there. No big deal.

What a pity? I have just realized the reason you did not understand most of the answers I gave you in my thread. No wonder. Chai! If I had had someone who directed me to articles and books to read when I was learning, I would have an easy ride. Really did not expect it that what I wrote there will be too hard for anyone who has passed elementary school. And ì.mentioned cultivars there. You are just extremely lazy..

O boy..you will just kill yourself with bitterness oooo. Guy, a no send you. You really dey follow me oooo. grin grin

It is time I stopped answering questions and faced my life. The ones i have dashed NL is enough.
.
Pls don't mind them. Continue ur epistle. Some people want simple and direct answers, not knowing that without some other info, the answer may not benefit them. E.g. Someone may ask you which seed to plant. They may expect u to tell them some specific seeds without knowing that other info like yield, disease resistance, plant population etc are also important to help them make the right decision. What is good for one farmer may not be good for another.
.
Someone took out his own time to dash free info and some people have the guts to critisive him like this. Pls just ignore them.

in my pepper pilot I planted okro as a companion crop. What I discovered was that immediately the okro started coming out the pest divert from the pepper to the okro. So I think a good way to handle pest in pepper farm is to plant okro as a trap crop
.
Planting trap crops around the border work for tomatoes in one research paper i came across. Another possible trap crop is cucumber, they love it more than okra. I will also try this in addition to pesticides.

my brother I think whiteflies are the most stubborn insects to eradicate,I have seen a whole farm wiped out by excessive chemicals sprayed for whiteflies,if you have used dimethon I guessed you have used magicforce and action 40 ,if the fly still persists look for an acephate based insecticide like acetaforce and use,but if the flies are not there yet I think a weekly spray of action 40 will be a good preventive measure, some areas are prone to heavy whitefly infestation.

Hello Okoroemeka, you are doing a great job here. Keep it up.

I will like to know if you have had issues with leafhoppers and whiteflies before. And how did you control them. So far in my pepper farm, I have used imidacloprid, dimetheoat, methomyl to reduce leafhoppers numbers (no whiteflies yet) but i am still worried about the few leafhoppers I see because they can transmit virus to plants. So please recommend better pesticides I can use. Thanks.

we used the hole system below on our okra farm it makes application of manure/fertilizer easy, irrigation is also efficient you can use hose and pump and water into individual holes it will retain a good quantities of water and be sipping down into the soil,if you try all these things on a flat ridge without hole you will understand what I mean, but the spacing below is for okra,if for cucumbers use appropriate spacing for cukes
.
Thanks. Which type of pump can someone use? The 6.5hp pump i have will devastate them and cause erosion.

for questions no1,we don't use furrow irrigation,it's best left for the northern farmers,we have expert workers that use flexible hose and pump during dry season, but we will port over to drip this coming season.no2-we use herbicides 2 weeks or more before planting so the chemical residue can dissipate,in as much glyphosate base herbicides is not soil residual but you can't trust these China products not to misbehave occasionally.no-3 we do nursery to replant dead or weak crops, even during the peak of rainy season or cold harmattan perods we do nursery through out and cover it and transplant in 6 -7 days ,no-4 if you use drip it will enhance efficiency of your farm, but if you are not financial buoyant to afford it you can use hose and pump with the hole system it's tested and trusted but it comes with a price, more labour.during the hottest period of the year jan-march if you are not using drip you really have to think out of the box to aviod producing bitter cukes, and that period is when it's costilest,it has to be for a reason.
.
Pls what do u mean by the hole system, is it furrow system?

we are using 30cm spacing it gives more crop population and that means more fruits, with good management it has overall better yield, using 60cm is just waste of space, there is a 4 plot farm we are preparing to plant next week Thursday,it will be 30 cm or 1 feet spacing on ridges and 2-3 feet between ridges
.
I'm happy to hear this. I will try it small scale and see.
