I think what he meant was that due to the ever increasing versions of the game, say Winning Eleven 4, Winning Eleven 5, 6, 7, 8...etc, he's going to be playing it till it gets to version 100, that is, Winning Eleven 100. I sure like the game as well, but don't think I'd play it to that version. Better football games would be coming with the availability of the next generation consoles. |
It was funny to me. At least to some extent. |
I think some of the lines would come in handy when someone gets a little crassly stupid. Thanks for sharing. |
This is hugely funny. BTW, why do guys go ahead to mention that they've read some jokes posted here before? I honestly don't think its a good thing. To me, it takes of the thrill for the poster, and of course the readers. Just don't bother pointing that out to guys. |
It took quite a while for the joke to register, but when it did, I sure enjoyed it. |
Yeah, I had wanted to point that out. I think a HTML version of any Flash site is a most functional feature. Of course for accessibility reasons and compatibility. Not every visitor could have downloaded the Flash plugin. Not too mention a fast connection, even though your site loads up pretty nicely. |
Well those aren't so bad compared to what I've just found here on Nairaland. I guess the Neco thing is just like every other faux pas committed by Nigerian webmasters. Some fella's asking a person to contact him for the redesign of his site and here's what this web-designer has as his: www.menog.net www.OhMyWebsite.com |
Please Ohmywebsite.com, I hope you wouldn't mind this, but what sort of business are you into? Your sites which I just checked out stinks to high heaven of scam, particularly the one that bears your name. Do you mind giving a reputable web-design company your site to redesign, and be a little more specific with what you're offering the public? |
Alright man, expecting the bundle. I never get tired of doing anything with FW. Waiting to see the changes though. |
Talking about this: Seun:I thought Ecobank offered Mastercards? And just lately heard a jingle on radio that Intercontinental bank issued same. |
Don't know what you like about that. Way too clustered for an index page. Not to mention the very poor contents they provide. But do tell me, what's about that site you like? |
It's sure as bad. But it's not as worse as NFA. (God, how I hate that site!) |
It appears quite simple, and to some extent, aestethic. For a full flash site, it loads very fast. There are some things I should point out though. IMO, I think the background colour should be toned down a bit. It doesn't sit too nicely on your overall layout, having your bkg colour as dark as your main content colours. Just a thought. The logo at the left's ok, but the attempt at having the 'Technologies' reflected doesn't come out well. It just messes up the logo entirely. Try reducing the text below, say using a linear fill of white and gray, and reducin the opacity too. I could help you do that if you wouldn't mind. The splash image there could be rotated with every change of content module, don't you think? The loading caption 'Loading Content Module' could be reduced, and font changed. And lastly, on the contact page, everybody enjoys filling up a form easily and nicely, not copying emails and then loading email clients to getting to you, like you want them to. Add a contact form. All of these, just thoughts. Ciao! |
And how many of those have they got? Lots? |
Would surf the web, discussing how I feel about dying. With my girlfriend sitting beside me, we're both sipping our favourite drink and laughing nervously, shedding a tear here, a tear there, because we're both too emotional to talk about anything. Perhaps a last kiss, a few parting words, and finally, the last love-making. Actually I think it'd be too difficult to pray at that point. You're simply over-wrought to think clearly and would make a bad job of praying for the repose of your soul. The best anyone can do would be to find an inner peace in the fact that you know not what the future holds for you and that the things you can make a good or bad job of are the last hours of your existence on this planet that sucks so bad you want to leave. |
Hey man! You almost got me pming you. |
Hmm...Rhythm's site is the worst you've found Casper? I can't imagine that man. As to the Union Bank's site, I think it's trult the worst site of a bank I've found. |
Classic games, better than the recent 3d games? What exactly do you mean? Is it that you prefer those to the consoles we have now, or you generally prefer the 8 & 16Bit games that run on those platforms to these generation of games? If you mean the latter, then man, you're truly a disciple of the past. |
What do you like about Krazienaija? |
You've got the CD man? Looked all over for it. Can't find it. |
Yeah Viktor, thank you for pointing out Splinter Cell. Pandorra Tomorrow seemed to blow the minds of gamers, now Chaos Theory would blow them into oblivion. I never really liked Halo. To me, it sucked. It's very difficult to list one's Top 10 Video Games, but looking at games that I've found somewhat legendary in their genre and era, I have strong views on the greatest games I've ever played and found to be equally of high regard. Anyway, here's a brief list on the once that currently comes to mind: Half Life 2 (To hell with Half Life 1, or the many other versions) Splinter Cell Pandorra Tomorrow | Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Mortal Kombat Deception (I can't stop watching the opening cinematic movie) Quake 3 Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 (The songs of the choir during the battle at Leighzig are the most ominous sounds I ever heard in a game) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Ninja Gaiden (Finest ninja game ever) Resident Evil 4 World Soccer Winning Eleven 8 International Max Payne At least these are the greatest games I can think of for now. |
A web design company did that? You're sure you're not kidding me? ![]() |
Yes Viktor, you're very correct. But you see, how many of these girlz are really who they say they are? It's a primal part of the homo sapiens. The Art of Deception. Most people go through lives without ever knowing who they really are. This is because we have multiple personalities for everywhere we think the flavour is. Layers and layers of personalities yet undiscovered. Its natural for guys to do these things, because its what's going to get them through with the ladies, see? It's merely got to be toned down, at least to an extent you can cope with. I know coupla guys who are married to girls and right now, these girls are in love with these guys. Right now these girls know the truth about most of these guys. But it's hugely apparent that these relationships would never had kickstarted if the guys had come clean about themselves from the onset. So, go figure for yourselves if its right or wrong. |
You work with MTN, paddy? |
It wasnt' done by a professional web designer, so I'm willing to let that slip. Some overly excited kid I guess did that and so I don't want to place it as the worst Nigerian site. Like Seun said, there are many worse sites. |
An Italian Renaissance painter once wrote, "Absence strengthtens love, but presence sharpens it." Go figure for yourselves, if distance actually improve relationships, or destroys it. True love or not. |
Hmm, quite interesting. But I've got a question Viktor, what are views about this whole thing called romance? You sound anti-male to me. Anyway, I'm sure the broads would be happy for you. |
I've just lost my third phone. Right now, there's none to show, but I'd be getting an N-gage soonest, either that or the ultr-cool Nokia 6670. And to you with the Sony Ericsson W800, I sure envy you man. |
Well em...your sites are as professional as they come, but they've all got a familiar feel, except for this www.manifoldventures.com/peopletemp which looks so much like this http://www.mtn.co.za/?pid=8429 and I can't help but wonder. Try getting your stuffs as original as possible. You're unarguably good at what you do, but originality is a great factor. |
Great impressions upon first visit, all of 'em. I'd be getting back with something else though. |
