looks like its your assignment so take it step by step! Have you written a program that keeps asking 1 person what flavour he/she would like? |
@databoy247, 1 question! Are you African? Just wondering why you use the white chicks ! Nice logos btw! |
ARRGGHHH!!!!! @Beaf wassup na! Am I gonna end up locking this thread? Just answer his question so its all gonna end! |
Yeah, small head is now the Chairman. Its everywhere on techcrunch |
OmniPotens:Sent u a pm ![]() |
Naa am gonna monitor the next thread and delete all irrelevant posts without doubts |
Wrong section, moving you to the webmasters section! |
Ok seriously this is getting out of hand. Has anyone checked this guy's stuff out? Why you just threatening him. Am sorry am gonna have to delete this thread completely if yall dnt straighten things up in 12hrs! The clock's ticking. Is this really a common thing in Nigeria? If so then why do people keep saying there ain't no jobs? Let me tell you something, if Leslexx was still in the UK, he would have sued whoever threatens or insults him at no cost and trut me its gonna end badly for the victim irrespective of your location. Anyways, @Lesslexx am going to leave this thread for just 12 hrs to see if things are straightened up, also would advice you open a better thread with a better title so its obvious its a thread for employment. |
@pc guru i ddnt say jQuery is a plugin, it started off as a pluggin an then became a library. Also, am not saying you guys should develop a javascript library, i just used jQuery as an example. Its good to do something different! |
Tis gonna be difficult for Google+ to affect Facebook but am very sure my lovely Twitter would feel the impact! Oh and btw y'all shud follow moi http://www.twitter.com/FaYiMoRa |
Everyone is just talking about framework, cms blah blah. What about pluggins/libraries? Seems y'all have forgotten that jQuery started as a pluggin. It became big and now its a Javascript library. People said nothing can compete with it and so did MooTools surface out of the blue. So instead of trying to develop one CMS or the other, has anyone thought of developing something else? Something even more challenging! |
you create one if you need one |
I just made an opensource framework too. I have already started using it though. To document and upload the thing hard small. . . . .for these same reasonsBut i will do it sha, i have already registered the website = www.dhtmlframework.com - and i have used it to develop a couple of sites like www.9jasentfromheaven.com and www.profjohnobafunwa.com
I think i saw a demo you posted on webmasters section, not sure tho, lol and i expected you to be using a better host. Are you really enjoying the limited space and bandwidth you have the very few features? I can show you something better, pm me if ur interested so we dont derail this thread! |
Yope! Just realised that! hehehe so why are you complaining? You are still on the team? Wasso just decided to handle the sql stuffs The diagrams are here and are open to criticism, if you dnt like something, change it . |
Well, when we started it was just me, wassolldas dat were available, Still wanna blame me for that? Anyways as you can see we havent gona dat far and no its not pro work, wasso gave some people duties and i think only one responded. |
Ok cool then. So are you going to decide the topics to be published or anyone just writes and send to you for screening/publication/whatever |
I would love to but you would have to give more information. What is the mag gonna be used for? If its gonna be sold then whats the target market? Am not trying to intrude your privacy but if anyone is going to be writing articles for a magazine, i think they would like to know wo would be reading their writings! |
Nice site man. Straight to the point, however you have an error. On you navigation bar, when i go to any other page aside from Home, the indicator doesn't change. It stays on home forever! |
Mobinga:Thanks pal, Thatdave:You kinda seems a bit confused, Would be nice if you could just state EXACTLY what you are having problems with, |
Errm i think the question goes to you, what is going on here? Why you bringing this up in the middle of nowhere without any backup. Your gonna have to be detailed enough or I would have to delete your post! |
Alright its fayimora[at]hotmail[.]co[.]uk Thanks a lot! |
Yeah for now, Thanks a lot! How you gonna send it or do you have it online already? |
Hey guys please does anyone have a pdf copy of the following books? --> OBJECT-ORIENTED SOFTWARE ENGINEERING: PRACTICAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT USING UML AND JAVA --> Database Systems: A Practical Approach to Design, Implementation and Management (5th Edition) I seriously need pdf versions and cant seem to get them. So can anyone help? Please take note of the versions |
Cooll. I could give you a whole bunch of tuts. JUst tell me what you wanna do and amma tell you how to ![]() |
Biggest Bullshit In the World |
netghost:I strongly disagree with the above quoted ones! Not everybody likes talking even if paid. Not being able to work with other technologies cause you dnt believe them to be right is bad! You must be able to adapt. Programming before Uni? Really? Dnt have to say anything more cause its bullshit! Only a very confident programmer would put all his/her work on a cv. If you aint gat the balls then you aint gonna do it so it aint no negative indicator. Focussing on a line or 2 aint bad at all, its your goal. If you do something because you have to do it or because you wanna be taged "good", then your what I call BBIW. When it comes to Technology, you gotta do what you love, else your just the BBIW. |
I think the best answer to your question would be GIT via GITHUB. If am right, you want to work with a lot of developers building a single app and you know everyone would have different code and stuff. You also want to have a version control system so you dont loose any data. If true then you wanna check out github. Its provides you with more than what you even need at no cost! You have a project and you have a project manager or project managers. The way Github works(in a very basic sense) is; --> the project managers would have push access to the repository, that is, they are able to update the repository. . . --> the remaining developers fork this repository which would clone the master repository and give them a copy of it on their local machine. --> those developers work on their own copy of the project and keep commiting changes. When they have made a significant change, they make a pull request to the main repository. The pull request is something like, hey boss(Project manager) and fellow developers, I have made some changes and would like you to view them. NB: am just explaining what it is, however what you would end up doing is just clicking 2-3 buttons! --> Everyone looks at it and when y'all come to an agreement, a fetch and merge is made. A fetch and merge is something like, hmm ok these changes are cool and the majority voted it up so am going to incorporate it into the main project. A project manager who has push access would then merge this into the main project. --> Now, since the main project has changed, all other developers would have to update theirs and again its really simple. All they have to do is fetch the main project from the main repository and merge it into theirs. And hooray the have an updated version! Now you must know that Githb doesn't save files rathe commit data in binaries and hashes. In essence all these processes would be completed in the blink of an eye. I tried merging a repo that is 2gb from Github and it took less than a minute to complete. Also, it is IMPOSSIBLE to loose data on github as long as it has been commited. A lot of the big opensource projects today like Rails, Ruby, JRuby, JRails, jQuery, Sinatra, Moootols, coffe-script, prototype, passenger, Django, Capuccino, linux mirrors, perl mirrors, mongoDB and soo many others use git and github as their server. Another good thing about github is that you dont need to be online to add files or commit data, everything done locally and when you are ready, you can push data to the server. If you are keen on using svn, well your choice, github also provides you with a way to manage your svn repository! Sorry for the long post, am a die hard Github fan so i kinda know a lot about it. Hmm ok, What exactly is it that you want to learn so I can give you something probably better! |
Is that a site or an Ad section? |
Can the OP please state what exactly it is you need programmer for? |
Yes but you must know that if you develop an app with Flash and it can easily be developed with Objective-c then you stand a chance of never getting your app into the store. You should read the full documentation before just deciding anything as apple is very sensitive. You should only use flash if you about to develop something that gonna PERFORM better on flash than OpenGL and Objective-C and trust me they, its hard to come across one! |
Firstly you need a Mac. Then you would need XCode which you have to purchase but I can upload my raw installer(4gb) for u to download. Then you learn a bit of C, at least to pointers, and then you learn Objective-C in full. . When you are done with Objective-C, iOS/Mac development for you would just be like setting up GUI's in a language like Java. Goodluck |
