What do you guys take/inhale to ignorantly make this assumptions? 🤨

Why are you capitalizing on those 3 states? How popular is obi in the far north...we have north central, north east and north west....how popular is he? If you look at the those behind obi, they are majorly from the south east. Have you seen any northerners claiming his mandate was stolen? Check now, haba .obi cannot win election with just south east votes alone

It’s so unfortunate that some people think the struggle for a new Nigeria is about the Igbos.

What many of you failed to understand is that Obident movement is above religion, tribe, ethnicity and geographical location.

It’s a movement of people that want a better Nigeria that is POssible.

This time we want someone that has all the qualities of a good leader. It’s not about tribe or religion as usual.

If you're a Yoruba man and your only reason for supporting Tinubu is because is he a Yoruba man, I have 2 things to tell you.

1. You're the enemy of this Nigeria.
2. If you don't hustle, you no go see food chop.

People have several reasons for voting their preferred candidates and voting my preferred candidates should not be anyone's problem. However, some people might be benefitting directly or indirectly from their preferred candidates. More so, not everyone will benefit from a particular government but atleast let majority enjoys the government.
In terms of government and leadership skills using the past history of both Obi and Tinubu...who do you think performs well?

The funny thing In all this OBi matters .. is simple..
The very desperation of Asiwaju Tinubu to be President of Nigeria .. knowing he has plotted and plan all.. but never foresee the emergency of Obi and his Labour .. if he did .. OBi would have been dead by now..
Like Abba Kyari.. that’s was said to have died of Covid-19 :- even when those who know .. knows ..

Now Tinubu and southwest Apc are like bulls in China shop.. they want to destroy all.. and everything .. thinking that Nigerians are quite for nothing sake .. and that they’re fooling everyone at all times .. with their schemes ..

Little do they know .. that even today toddler in politcs is looking at their drawing and seeing the full stop .. even before they place the dot.. grin without anyone being worried

Of course replacing the Labour chairman with a Yoruba man loyal to asiwaju ..in an emergency take over is a smart move to prevent the audio interim government..
North knowing that all has been planned even before the election ..

Law of power .. “” planned to the end “ but Tinubu is planning as it comes .. grin
The audio that they felt would anger the Muslim north failed .. the mutiny has to come as plan b.. even plan C is in their ice box.. but who cares ..

The main fact is the tribunal .. which they believe they will influence after May 29.. then the Supreme Court .. with their southwest yorub already mouthing how they Yoruba man won’t betray his fellow Yoruba .. and for their inner minds .. Nigerians are stupid .. na their brain lugard take join Nigeria ..

They’ve threaten Obi .. they’ve lobbied him.. they said all and propagate all sort .. the man is quiet like stone .. not moved .. not even shown concern.. just doing his thing.. we know assassins are already an option.. in his state to be blamed on insecurity in the east.. we know all that

But we’re quiet ..

Nigerians are boiling .. ready to kick start that revolution that will swallow everyone .. I told one moniker .. am not worried about Obi .. am worried about Lagos and Yoruba people.. because they drum .. they’re beating .. Walahi Allah.. no other part of Nigeria is with them and they’ve failed to see this .. because they’re too fixed on power .

Nigerians swill wait patiently for Supreme Court .. then they will decide .. not inec dicide .. but Nigerians and Nigeria deciding

Asiwaju and his peeps can do all and manipulate themselves.. but you see that documents ..

Walahi he will return it

Is a must..

All blames to Asiwaju...hmmm how do you know? Were you there? Fear God oo

Yet Obi is bouncing with each day.. moving strong .. he’s the talk of the town .. northerns are loving him by the day.. yet they wailed ..

He’s not intimidated.. he’s in court .. they’ve lobbied him, lobbied the north .. raise religion to sway the Muslim north.. some everything ..

Okwute is still bouncing

If I be this people .. I go just go find rope and do the needful

As for their druggie ..daddy baron …
That one is scared stiff.. run out of the country.. the fire is too much.. weda for health or for haji.. all we pray is that he return in peace to give Nigerians back what he stole for them .. because he will ..

We wait for the Supreme Court .. na after then.. Nigerians will decide way forward

As for Yoruba Apc youths and druggie goons

Nigerians will still revisit Una matters .. na so e Dey play for every developed countries of the world .. talk more third world like Nigeria .. wey druggie wan buy..

Una go wake .. still wailing

I believe God is about to do something that is beyond the understanding of any Nigeria, with the IGBOS. The way the IGBO matter has flooded the social media and other news outlets after this elections, tells me that something is about to happen and what it's, I can't fathom.
I pray to God, that it turn out to be something that will glorify God and put smiles on the faces of all Ndi Igbo.
People, especially those of the SW, have forgotten, where the IGBOS were before the war. They talk about IGBOS, as if they Igboman is a small fry in Nigeria.
I'm not surprised, because the progress and development of the IGBOS came to them as a surprise.
A people that lost over 3m people in the war, were economically written off, given only £20, out of their millions in the bank vaults, made to look like nothing, 50 yrs after becoming this prosperous, to the extent that there's no nook and crannies of Nigeria where they're not and doing very well, without being at the center, holding political power to influence things in the region for themselves..
Dry bones shall rise again. I pray to God, in my life time, the rising sun will rise, and shine brighter than before. People watch it, it will happen very soon, because OLUWA is involved.

Stop playing the victim, no one has the monopoly of God.
God created everyone and he is a merciful God. He gives everyone despite our iniquities. God will certainly lift everyone up and no one will be a bigger to anyone.

Period

So if it had stopped at 24 states of the federation it won't make sense anymore?

Is FCT not part of the federation. Which other country have you seen adding their capital as part of their nomenclature.?

There was never a reason to add that "and FCT if it was never compulsory to get 25% there.

Take for instance FCT wasn't added and the constitution says 25% in 24 states only, that means no election will be done in FCT because FCT wasn't included because it's not a state

Then the constitution should have simply said 37 states. For it to say 36 states means it doesn't regard the FCT as a state in this case.

It's pretty straightforward.

Remember when we read our state and capital...have you seen where they mention FCT as a state?

FCT is not regarded as a state that is why we don't have 37 states. FCT votes is just like any other states votes and not regarded as a special votes

Politics / Re: Why The Law Made It Compulsory For A 25% In The FCT by fayomim: 7:57pm On Mar 26, 2023
LocalStandard1:
This used to be a simple and straight forward issue before the 2023 elections. But a situation can not be said to be simple if rules and laws set aside are not followed before the event.

Section 134(2) States that a candidate must (a) have the highest number of votes cast at the election; and (b) have not less than 25% of total votes cast in AT LEAST two-third of all the States in the Federation AND THE FCT, Abuja.

'At least' and 'and the' statements are enough for one just waking up from a deep sleep to understand an instruction. "Bring two thirds (24) and the special one".

But for those who say the FCT has no special status do not know the situation of an FCT and are not clear about the Law. Yes the FCT has the status of a State but is not a State. All Nigerian laws describe the FCT separately when Laws are made, Never 37 States but 36 and the FCT. Except....

That is why the Constitution, in all its wisdom, made the 25% votes in the FCT a conjunction in the Law. Without which a candidate can not and will not be said to meet the requirements. By default a President is like the Governor of the FCT, like. But how can he be seen as such and even have the power to appoint his representatives if he was never recognized by his own supposed district?
As Nigerian States went out to vote on the 18 of match for governorship candidates the FCT are expected by Law to have done theirs in the Presidential elections, and that is the 25 percentile requirement.

A candidate is not required to win all 36 States AND THE FCT, instead only two-thirds of the States (24) AND THE FCT. The Supreme Court was clear about that few year ago.

NOTE: Attached are pictures of the Supreme Court Judge who made an unbiased and neutral judgement and interpretation to that section on the Law as recent as 2008.

Watch and be educated
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=43_mR6Z9-3w

Wrong wrong wrong

How do you expect them to put it...do you expect the constitution to just say 25% in all the states alone? The constitution only see Abuja as the FCT and not a state, that is why the and is added to indicate that votes from FCT will also be counted

Interesting times we live in indeed
One thing I like about this emergence of Obi is that is has corrected so many lies and propaganda about the Ibo which the Yoruba has spread for decades.

Truth always prevails eventually,no matter how long a lie has spread , one day the truth will come forth

As it stànds the Ibo have shown they are a major tribe with political might , they can give a candidate the presidency .
That lies about them being 5% has been bursted the lies by Yoruba that Ibo have no population has been bursted
Yorubas need to embrace truth and stop tribalism

You are wrong, it is the ibos that are tribalistic. They started it by insulting Yorubas and later the narrative changed and the Yorubas fought back with the same method. Now the ibos are turning the table round.

If Yorubas are tribalistic, they won't accommodate anyone, they won't sell lands for you and they won't employ you in their civil service.

You know the truth
