Good morning experience mother's
I'm here again oooo.
I need your help and advice.
[b]My two weeks old [/b]and some days baby would not just sleep in the night. Like starting from 10pm till like 4am.....he won't sleep, he would be crying. When I breastfed him, he would do as if he is sleeping but once I put him to bed, he start to cry . I can rock him for hours. He won't blink an eye. He can breastfeed like 2 hours at a go.
Its frustrating. I hope someone can relate with what I'm saying. Please what can I do.
I thought new born will just eat and sleep.
And also the way his nose sounds like someone that has catarrh but nothing is coming out from the nose oooo.
I need help. HELP A IRST TIME MUM

To ease myself the stress of making purees every morning , on Saturdays I make apple puree, Pear Puree, Avocado puree , carrot puree all depending on what I need for the week and store in the freezer . Anyone I need for the day I just bring it out in the morning while preparing breakfast nd warm it.

Then I made date syrup myself and put it in a jar and kept it in the fridge . When I make my baby's food i sweeten it with the syrup . Like she will be having rice cereal mixed with carrot puree this evening I ll add her milk then sweeten it with the syrup . The rice cereal was made by me also ( recession plenty )

Recipe:
Semolina
Apple sauce
Banana
Baby's milk.

Dissolve semolina in water and place pan on fire. When done, remove and add pureed banana, applesauce and baby's formula.

This is the second time am buying this food and I will just only use it once but insect keep entering inside. This food cost me 15k. I feel like crying now because I just wasted two cans that I used only once. I moved the first one from kitchen, second one hubby advised o should put it in the bedroom but stupid insect enter. actually the birth cert issued in Nigeria states the place off birth and hospital (in the USA)

note that it's not necessarily the case that been born in the states always ends up in acquiring American citizenship.

I ran out of pap yesterday, although i washed the new one yesterday and it hasn't settled well for me to take from it. I had to buy small for breakfast, Was directed by my neighbour to get a well prepared one only to find out that it was yellow corn and ginger, although it wasn't bad when I made it. Didn't taste it though because I don't take pap or custard because of a personal phobia. Dh said he likes the new pap and it didn't smell like my own, the aroma of the ginger was quite nice and he prefers it.

Please can I start putting ginger in my own? Will it have it have any side effects on my kids? Is there any nutritional value to it?

Hi mamas I've come again. Please I need remedy for cough. My LO is soooo irritable and I don't know how to help him. I'm using silverbird to decongest his nose and that's helping the catarrh but what does one do for cough?

Finally made my Tom brown today.... My baby took it with joy... But mine is so very brown...was unable to make the soya bean, baby was crying and my soya bean and groundnut got burnt

Good morning mamas. Abeg when do I start to worry with immunization fever? Usually my baby's mood picks up by the next morning although his body is still warm till the next evening. This one pass me. His temp is now 38.5 and he's still cranky and clingy. Been doing sponge baths with lukewarm water and paracetamol but I checked now and 38.5 fear me. To chill or go to the hospital?

So last night I gave her pureed avocado....u need to see her facial expression when she took the 1st 3 spoons. Epic!!!

But after like 6 - 7 spoons, she started smiling and rushing it.... Lol

Pls o, when making cereals must I follow the preparation as stated on the tin. My DD doesn't eat so much at once, she'll rather eat lil bits at regular interval than a whole meal at once.
Do I just use my discretion?
