Jobs/VacanciesRe: Dangote To Give Graduate Drivers Trucks After Use by feelamong(m): 9:36am On Nov 02, 2012
Well Dangote is a business man and is not running a charitable organisation.

He knows how well HGV drivers earn in the developed countries and as such trying to entice people to come and "chop' with him.

Dangote knows quite well that by the time these trucks get to 300,000km milleage; they will all have a zero book value in their account statement and will possible be sold as scraps!

what really interest me is that 13,000 graduates applied for this job; 65 of them have MBA and 6 have Phd!

I guess they all have their own back up plans! cool

Billyonaire: My friend, Akwa Ibom State is rich enough to buy a private jet for her Governor, Stop this ranting.
Yes they are Ricjh enough to buy jet but have you asked if they are rich enough to bring its people out of the wicked poverty in the state.

If you dont know be aware that Akwa Ibom state have the highest amount of children/young adyults being sent out as house maid/servants in the country now. Would it be bad idea for them to give a free and compulsory education for every Akwa Ibom child till the age of 23yrs or even to set up massive vocational training schools in Akwa Ibom?

Bunch of Idi0ts in govt houses!

CareerRe: The Minimum Salary A Wise Graduate Should Not Decline Nowadays. by feelamong(m): 3:13pm On Oct 31, 2012
Okija_juju: Your base salary should be dependent on the standard of living in your area..

Now a graduate who has to pay for the following;

1. Electricity.

2. Transportation (Atleast 300 naira Daily #Base Case)

3. Accomodation (1 Bedroom self-contained)

4. Food (500 Naira per day)

5. Clothing (5000 Naira per month)

6. Miscellenous expenses (Toileteries, Recharge card, Fuel for his I-Pass-My-Neighbour, Gas for his Camp-gas, e.t.c)

And lives in any of the following cities;

1. Abuja

2. Lagos

3. Port-Harcourt

4. Calabar

5. Warri

Cannot accept a job that pays anything less than 100,000 per day and survive without extra-income coming from elsewhere.

At this point in my professional life (my experience level o), my base salary for any job is 200 Thousand Naira per month after taxes and must come with atleast 2 bonuses every year.

All their blood being shed all the time for 'One Nigeria"

Well, Ugbana Okpoko Gburu; Nti chiri ya!

I think its time to Think Home!! Start setting up good businesses home, start building your own houses at Home!!

Then Igbos need to get more politically active! Demand more from your governors and remove non performing political office holders!!

Until then; these heart breaking stories from Ndi Igbo will continue to reoccur!!

Nigeria to sell 111 bln naira in T-bills on Oct 25

LAGOS Oct 17 (Reuters) - Nigeria will auction 111.26 billion naira ($706.41 million) of treasury bills with maturities ranging from 3-months to 1-year at its regular bi-monthly debt auction on Oct. 25, the central bank said on Wednesday.

The central bank said it will issue 34.88 billion naira in 91-day paper, 45 billion naira in 182-day bills and 31.38 billion naira in the 364-day paper.

Africa's biggest oil producer issues treasury bills regularly to reduce money supply, curb inflation and help lenders manage their liquidity. ($1 = 157.50 naira) (Reporting by Oludare Mayowa; Editing by Joe Brock
