Abeg what is the cost of Garri in your local market now? |
Oga Reuben Abati...DUE PROCESS MY AR$$!!! what are saying that we have not heard before? Now you are saying due process but when you were asked to reinstate Justice Salami by the NJC, dat one was not due process ..abi? You think we are not aware of the fact that Maina gave a whooping N5B to the campaign team of GEJ during the last elections? anyway keep protecting him..only time will tell! |
ihedioramma: BROS GOOD DAY AND HAPPY VAL, SO DO I SELL MY UBA,DANGFR, E.T.C NOW?why did you buy the UBA in the first place? have you met your profit target? |
The best site is this...http://www.stockmarketnigeria.com/forums/ Wonderful forum of well knowledgeable fellows analysing stocks with info you cant find anywhere else!! |
Nwanne dalu!!!!! I di good!! When some mofos were complaining that the team had a lot of igbos.. i just laughed them off!! Today dem don see am for themselves say Igbos are key for this country to move forward!! |
sellydion: Jamace, You are too much, I like your mindset. I can only say be careful as you move ahead. Your post has made me to look at penny stocks too, but as usual companies with little fundamentals. What I am checking for is MIS PRICING. For example Wema is currently arround N1.66 while unity bank is N1.Hmmmmmmm.. I hope you understand the difference between Investing and Speculationg! Good luck!!! Am sure you will need loads of it! |
vulpeslopez: Oga Jamace,u r a man after my heart,Penny stocks r d Best....... Wema bank and Japaul oil r perfect examples.Yes in the Bull season.. Penny stocks are king cos they could give you 100% return. But I will advise to also pick some of the good Blue chips with sound fundamentals cos when the Bears come along, they are more stable and resistant to major drops in prices! Moreover penny stocks are not very liquid! You could get stuck in there for a very very long time! |
sellydion: @feelamong, I gained a lot from your picks. Our approach to buying may be different due to our background and exposure.Bros.. I gbadun ur style! I have not been able to get my round round all these technical charts....maybe we go dey share small small info on the next stocks that are about to fly since you only deal on foundamentally strong stocks too! |
jamace: My own style is to look for sleeping giants and pick them while they are still sleeping.Nice strategy!! To time any stock most times is a very difficult thing! To find the sleeping Giants is where the hard work is and also to ignore the rumblings in the market is not an east virtue! In all if one can find a foundamentally good sleeping giant, that person is already made, cos the money in the stock market is made in the buying and not in the selling cos 'Well bought Stocks are already Half sold'!!! Happy Investing All |
sellydion: I am not a sales agent, but from my experience I have used 3 brokers, the best is IBTC stock brokers- please note that is my experience.I think its the time to buy! You dont buy while a stock is going up! Pick a good stock foundamentally and buy while its on its way down! That way you will be well seated for the next rally! |
Now that the stock Market has picked up once again. I think this should be a good thread for people to talk about their experiences with their brokers. At least we can name and shame those not doing well.. and also celebrate and encourage those that are doing well! Personally I have three stock brokers namely, Fidelity Securities, Investment One (formerly GT securities) and Cash Craft. At the moment All of them are doing me well!! |
100 pages and still counting!!! 042 is the code jare!! Let Eko Ile and fellow haters keep getting HBP and HIV |

what is high about the current prices? have you taken time to check these valuations when compared to their peers in other developed market or frontier markets? Dont allow the market pass you bye o! As at 12noon today.. a very big foreign portfolio manager i dont want to mention their name here brought in close to N5B to invest in NSE... We were shouting on people to invest 6 months ago when Diamongd bank was N2 and they sai they were scared..oyinbos were mopping up.. now we are still calling on you to invest, you are still saying you are scares of valuations.. the next thing now you will go and start buying valueless insurance stocks and say they are cheap! |
ihedioramma: YES BROTHER, TELL US WHAT U SE IN JAPAUL AND WHAT IS THERE BUSINESS? WHAT OF OANDO I DONT WANT TO NO THE TIME IT WILL TALK BEFOR I MAKE PROFIT ALL AM ASKING U AND OTHERS IS OANDO SECURED OR STRONG NOW?. WHAT IS THE WRONG THING INVESTORS DO IN AP?bros.. is OANDO the only stock in the NSE? forget that stock that is more or less like Enron now and go invest in good coys... BTW; the Rights issue has just been extended! This shows that people are unwilling to take thieir rights ....will you put ur money in a dead stock or in a fast moving stock like Diamond bank or UBA? the choice is urs! |
otokx: The bubble is about to burst.Bros.. na you wan burst am? better start investing now o! |
BelloSKK: Thanks Stocks Professor, I have been really enjoying your posts on this thread. Please, could you send me your email and GSM number for further communication? Mine are belloaffiliatechecks@gmail.com and 08038870405.Anybody who is not playing in the market now definitely has him/herself to blame. The Russians are here to invest massively in our market and we ought not to allow them to enjoy all the benefits...I was reading a write up by Mark Mobius whose fund invest heavily in Frontier markets and he kept mentioning Nigeria and Vietnam as the investment destination of choice. He showed interest in the Brewery, Food and Banking stocks! For me am picking Honeywell, FlourMills, Diamond Bank, UBA and FBN...also not forgeting International Breweries. Happy Investing! |
nereiskc: Greetings to you all, pls I want comment on d concept of an underwriter. What oando is doing now is RIGHT ISSUE meant for already existing shareholders, d issue of an underwriter comes in only in public offer, so an underwriter can make gains too, to bear d risk if any.thanks for the education! Yes Rights issue can be underwritten! |
IF YOU SAY YOUR ROAD IS THAT BAD TRY AND POST IT HERE! OTHERWISE JUST HOLD UR PEACE! BTW STOP WHINNING AS IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO! SEE YOU AT THE POLLING BOOTH! |
chukyjones: hey, Guys i just got this info now,IT WILL DEFINITELY MAKE THE STOCK GO UP AS IS ALREADY UP IN THE NSE.. BUT THEN TRANSCORP IS A LONG TERM BET! |
stockbull: oando is still much very good for long term and dangote flour is not good to sell now but if you think you have made gains and you want to go for other stock, you can. For the last three years, anyone who jump out of the stock after good positioning regret their decision later. With my historical data, the stock seldom shed price overnight and you will hardly recognise the support point as the stock would be moving and the retracement period always has component of mixed reactions.the stock always compensate patient investorswhy would anyone want to buy OANDO now? with all the past poor cooperate governance in this company? If the rights offer was soo good why is the stock still struggling at 13- 14 even in a good Bull market? I have asked the so called investment houses asking people to buy this stock or take the rights to go ahead and Underwrite the offer..no one is comfortable doing that and yet they all say its a good one! OANDO is a big fraud! another ENRON in the making!! |
stockbull: you make me laugh........... You are just been emotional. In this time when the market is getting better and you see a stock that has dipped heavily, definitely all stocks would dance to the tone of the market in the long run. These stocks may not be for active investors and let me remind you that big names are nothing in stock market. When investors see that stock is much underpriced in bull market, they take it up and thats all. Those stock that came top on last yearly gainers were not big names. "IN A LONG RUN"Bros.. whether you are in a bull run or bear run.. the first thing you look for first is if a stock is foundamentally ok...then the next will be the best time to move in..here techinicals come in! John Holt is as good as a dead company! what is their ROE, PE ratio or their EPS? until i get this then forget all the bull run story.. we saw all these during the last bull run..ask those that bought Capital oil aand Afroil oil to tell u more! |
stockbull: transcorp and john holt may be one of the good stocks for the long run. Traders and short term investors should look into other sector in the stock market. Still watching dangote sugar and some other stocksbros did i hear you say John Holt? abeg where their office even dey self? I will rather wait a little and buy uniyy bank at .60 than eneter this one.. transcorp is a little over priced at the moment too.. |
If una talk too much, Oga Jona go set up another committee to find the money o! me i no go say anything before them say na Buhari ask me to talk... mumu govt! |
Seun: Does anyone know the stop rates yet?The stop rates was terrible..Lost out on all fronts! 91 days ------10.84% 182 days ------11% 364 days ------11.049% these foreign investors have really messed up the market. Am off to the NSE to take some risk and make money! see u guys! |
This is long over due! Better late than never though..That warri born pastor has really dragged the Church into disrespute by dinning and wining with those rougues in power! |
well dat time is the time for the Chelsea vs swansea game.. i will rather watch this match than watch oga Jona dey yarn opata! ![]() |
