Why would anyone want to compare Land and shares.. these are two different asset cloasses which any investor should invest in well. If you pick good stocks and invest in a good land at a choice location then both will definitely do well! I have invested in stocks that have done poorly just as i have incvested in a land that didnt make anuy money for me in the time period of 7years. Infact I had to sell at a loss cos an erosion was threatening the area and i did not have the money to control it. I always encourage people to just invest in good stocks and lands.. |
jamace: My bros, there is nothing in life that is not risky at some times.Any body that is Panic selling now is doing himeself/herself a great disservice!! The market is rip for future gains and only time will tell! All the market is waiting for now is the result from the Banking sector and the conglomerates which are all expected to the OK...Once these results meet the analyst expectations and that of the First Qtr also show growth the the next round of Bull season.. If i had money I will be quietly mopping up more of my favorite shares like NASCON and NAHCO |
can N1.7M fly this one? |
send me the vin no @ feelamong@gmail.com lets take it up from there |

hrmgr: Equator Capital will give you 15% on N10 million for a year, our rates are competitiveI know i could get higher rates here but then I stand a lot of risk just in case of any fraud by the management or some sort of liquidation. I will rather place the funds with a bank or subsidiary of a bank and sleep with my eyes closed. ![]() |

How much do you want to invest, how old are you, what is your Investment Horizon and what type of person are you(Risk taker or risk averse? All these determine the type of risk you will want to take..Fixed income funds are for risk averse people and here you are sure of your initial capital. In the Equity funds you have opted to take more risks...in the event of any market crash or melt down the value of your funds will definitely suffer. If I werr you I will creat a portfolio for my self.. buy the stocks i want to keep and also invest in fixed income/money market funds I like my sellf! |

Desanta: i WENT TO FIRST BANK TO PAY FOR NTB BUT THE BANK STAFF ADVISED ME TO GO FOR FIXED DEPOSIT AT 11% WHICH I DID. THANK GOD I DID BECAUSE NTB RATES ARE NOW DISAPPOINTING.By the time you adjust for with holding tax and for the fact that you cannot get your interest upfront; Tbills still make more sence to me! |
What about the law on looting and corruption by public officers? wont they make that one Death Penalty too? Awon Olosi!! |

courage89: What kind of analysis are you doing to conclude that ftn cocoa is safer than ci leasing? Technical or fundamental analysis? Assuming you are basing your analysis on fundamental, what parameters are you using? Can you share.whether you are buying FTN cocoa or C & I leasing.. you are both in the same scam! Both coys do not have any foundamental to take them any where! As I type almost 35M units of FTN Cocoa has been sold today...The drop downwards will start from today back to .50k and many people will have to carry this can for a very long time to come. People should understand the difference between Investing and Speculating! |
laceonline02: Pls house...where can i get reports on latest bidsJust wait a little.. any moment from now my bankers will send the Stop rates to me! |
jamace: Congrats o. But you for tell me make I plant too naa. No be me and you dey struggle for TB all along?Bros no vex! E ma binu! E nwe ni iwe! It was a move that I make out of just curiosity since i knew it was a very long term move 1 year, 6months! Anyway, a lot seems to be happening in the NSE now...I can only see winners around there now! this is the time to sow! |
When the so called good governance team came to Abia state, they passed a verdict that the clown in power there is doing a marvelous work! The midget called Labaran looked at Abia people oand said he was impressed with the level of work done in that state. Is that what the tour is all about? A band of clowns go on a circus and then end up by telling people that their folly has been worth the while! Tufia!! |
I have decided to start buying HonyFlour and NAHCO today! I intend to exit these positions as soon as I get the 30% mark ..hopefully in the next 3 months! Is anyone watching NESTLE...I threw in a seed capital for my next business i intend to launch in 2014 there around November last year and so far I have made 51% on that investment. |
sellydion: WHERE ARE THE BULLS!!!!! I STILL DEY AS I DEY WATCHING THE MARKET.Bros, just remain patient and keep your eyes open! As we speak, more that N800B in Tbills and Bonds have just matured in the Money market/Fixed Income market. Also FAAC hit the market and everywhere is awash with so much liquidity. Most of All These funds can no longer go back there as the yields are dropping at a very fast pace! If i were you I will use this time to shop for good bargains in the market as very soon, major fund managers will be out to shop...and then wait to harvest in the very near future! Happy Investing! |
bros where is your location..Can I do N1,270M cash ASAP!! |
