cutewifey: I could remember vividly when my water broke with my first pregnancy around past 12am. I woke hubby up and showed him what I saw, he jumped up from the bed and asked me if I'm sure baby is about to come, as a JJC that I am too I told him I think so even though I still feel fine that he should go back to sleep.
After some hours, I started having backache with stomach tightening, I went into the restroom to per and I saw show, I had to wake him up again, I told him I think baby is about to come, immediately hubby's body system changed, he started purging going into the restroom to poo. It was around past 3am, he was confused on what to do next, he ask me if I can hold on till around 5am when we can vet bike to the hospital.
I tried to hold on but around past 4am I couldn't take it any longer, we had to go out and look for a means of getting to the hospital, thank God we were able to get a bike, and I delivered around past 6am. All through the labour he was panicky, the nurses sent him out of the room twice when he was hearing my shouts while in the room.
Men are always afraid when their wives are in labour, share your experience too lets have fun reading. Why bike, he doesn't have a car? |

Romance › Re: Should I Lend My Boyfriend Money? by femi4: 4:35pm On Apr 22, 2020 |
Trayceey: Fellow nairalanders,
I have a pressing issue on ground and I need your contribution. My boyfriend has been working for about 5 years now. We've been dating for a while now and he has been so nice and caring. The best ever.
In my past experience in relationships, I have been quite generous but the guys turned out to be ingrates so I vowed never to give any boy my penny again.
When I met my man, he melted my hardened heart with the love he showered on me. On one occasion, I have borrowed him money and he paid me back. Now he's asking me to borrow him another money. Because of this lockdown, he has gone so broke and he opened up to me. Initially, I did not believe him but when I noticed he has run out of food stuffs and the provisions he normally stock his house with, I believed him. I have more than enough money. The money he's asking for is like chicken change to me. But I don't want him to get used to borrowing from me and I have vowed never to give a guy my money again except if he's my husband.
Please I need advice. Fellow ladies like me, what do you think? Should I borrow him? Are you one of the "all men are the same" crew? Always judge and deal with individuals based who they are and not on based on bad bitter experience |

kalvoken: The man said the virus is as a result of human error on research. The same man said that it a biblical word/prediction coming to pass.
If it's God's/bible words coming to pass then it should not be seen as an error, but a fulfillment of the prophecy.
These should not be given mic to talk, after their last prophecy on the covid-19 Pandemic never came not to talk of passing. If you are destined to die by accident. Your mechanic might be the tool to bring it to pass by committing error when fixing your brake etc |

oyatz: 1) Everybody can NOT be selected or appointed at once sir.
2) You don't necessarily need a Government appointment to contribute your own qouta to the development of your town, State and Nigeria.
For instance, I know of a young lady who through dint of hardwork started as a teacher in a private school in 1990 but by 2020 has built groups of private schools which provide quality and affordable education to generartion of students in her environment. She has contributed to the educational advancement of her community than than a Commissioner of Education. You are off point, we are not talking about contibuting quota. We are talking about the pix up there, on how friendship that matters can get you into some juicy position in this part of the world |
Politics › Re: Abba Kyari And Geoffrey Onyeama In The 70s (Throwback Photo) by femi4: 6:11pm On Apr 20, 2020 |
oyatz: What exactly is your point sir?
Are you saying Goeffery Onyeama who has B.A in Political Science from Columbia University, New-York, B.A in Law from Cambridge University, M.A from London School of Economics and LL.M from Cambridge University who worked with the United Nations for 30 years, retiring as Deputy Director-General of WIPO doesn't merit a Ministerial post of his Country? The point is even with your degrees and hardwork, we have at least 100 people with the same or better pedigree yet not considered or get SELECTED as a Minister |
Politics › Re: Abba Kyari And Geoffrey Onyeama In The 70s (Throwback Photo) by femi4: 8:33am On Apr 20, 2020 |
oyatz: Both Godfrey Onyeama and Abba Kyari went to great Schools in the UK and worked in reputable organizations in Nigeria and abroad.
They both merited the positions they occupied.
There are always better people anywhere.
In the UK, there are more intelligent and hard-working people than Queen Elizabeth and Boris Johnson.
Donald Trump isn't the most intelligent, hard working or patriotic person in the US.
Those 1001 Nigerians that you know that are better than Onyeama and Kyari should join politics and let Nigerians see their Sterling leadership qualities. You don't the difference between elected posts and selected posts. Ministerial positions are selected post |

Stop the normal Naija mentality of who you know thing Which work hard.....we have 1001 people with better CV yet didn't have the opportunity. In Nigeria, you must Work hard and know somebody |

heed101: I watched the preaching today. I told my wife that pastors are only preaching prosperity and he did not talk about how his members will make heaven with good deed. He only made examples of his friend that found pot of gold coins and said that blessings like that his friend will come their way.
He showed them 2.15 minutes video of women with barren that came to his convention with child years after.
World preaching has really changed and this baffles me alot. That is why you see employee earning 500k and will still be finding means to augment that income with any unethical means.
Who am I to judge.
My peeps, if those who are saddled with responsibility to bring out the good deed in you have failed you, kindly carry your bible and read.
Likewise my religion, please let us read our quran. Hypocrite! He ends his all his teachings with altar call, If that has nothing to do with how to make heaven, I wonder what you ll call it |
Family › Re: What Comes With Marrying The Breadwinner Of A Family? by femi4: 10:45am On Apr 19, 2020 |
VivleBriella: Good day everyone
I've been a guest for a couple of years now, created an account to seek advice
My dear nairalanders, does it always end well marrying the Breadwinner of a family? He's the last born with 4 elder siblings but they all depend on him.
Yes, I knew he was the Breadwinner from day one but I thought with time, everyone else will be able to stand on their own, but it hasn't happened yet, we've dated for 3yrs now and he doesn't support me financially. I don't complain but he feels entitled to my money and when I get tired of him always asking me to lend him some money and decide to say no, he nags and tells me I'm not being supportive enough.
This is driving me really crazy cause he reminded me of how unsupportive I've been to him and his family, he's driving me insane, you can't possibly put the responsibility of your family on my shoulders, that's crazy and insensitive, over the years, I've borrowed him nothing less than 500k which I know for sure he's never giving back.
Is it normal to be in a parasitic relationship whereby the female remains the host that's being fed on?
I'm only 24 while he's 31. Unless both of you are working and coming home with 6figures monthly, it ll slow down your projects e.g building, buying car, starting a biz etc. If you are not careful, you won't have savings. Solution: Get them jobs.....A rich man in the midst of poor is also a poor man |

Pls explain this to me For those alive: When you die, its judgement. Meaning, No second chance, no reincarnation. Now, there is a time frame between when you die and when the judgement will take place. The judgement is going to take place at the same time. |
