Hello everyone, I'm a university student in 200lvl elect engineering, and I have recently decided to read 8 hours everyday for the rest of my life (I started 2 weeks ago, and I've been doing just fine, albeit some days I feel tentative to read when I ask myself "What do I have to gain from this"

I combine both school work (5 hours) and general knowledge (like reading self-help books, books on historical and monumental events like the Renaissance period e.t.c for the remaining 3 hours).

I've thought on reducing this to 3 hours daily for all my readings, perhaps.

Am I missing out on anything in life? Or on the right path?

You need more of exposure for your field. Have you seen a switch gear or transformer oil before apart from the textbooks

A lot of factors have to be put into consideration i.e acc along the direction of force.

So a will be 1/√17 (4i + j)

And F in direction of a =10i + 5j . 1/√17 (4i+j)
= 40/√17 + 5/√17 = 45/√17

So, m = 45/√17 * 1/ √17 = 45/17 = 2.65kg

If a force(f) is expressed as 10i+5j such that it causes an acceleration of a =4i+j,find the mass the force will act on with such acceleration. I got an answer of 2.71kg after dividing the magnitudes of both vectors. Am I correct?

Hence

m = Modulus F / Modulus a

m = |√10²+5²|/ |√4²+1²|

√125/√17 = 2.71kg
