Romance › Re: I Am Depressed Because I'm A 1minute Man by femi4: 7:39am On Nov 16, 2020
BennyN:
Hello everyone,

Please I'm creating this thread to only ask for your help and what I can do to better my condition, No insults please.

I have been on nairaland for years now and I have seen people get help from here, although I created this new account because of this thread.

My name is Ben, I'm 26yrs old and a final year student.
I have always been skeptical about having sex in a relationship even though I have dated couple of girls, for eight years now I have also been battling with masturbation and I have tired all I could to stop, the longer I can go is just 1month. I had a girlfriend before I got admission into uni, broke up with her in my first year and decided not to date again, down to my 3rd year, I met another girl and I strictly told her that I wasn't ready to have sex and she accepted, few months later we had issues and we went our separate ways.
Earlier this year, I met another babe, everything was good and I refused to tell her that I was a virgin so that she wouldn't underate me, I actually thought I could perform very well in bed until that faithful day.
I had sex, my first ever sex at age 26, after about 45mins of pre-intimacy, I penetrated her and in less than 5 thrust, I ejaculated....
I couldn't believe it myself as she still held me down and was craving for more, I told her and she was disappointed.
After couple of minutes again, I was erected and same thing happened, this time she was upset and I begged her and confess that it was my first time but she left with anger. I felt really bad and on the second thought I encouraged myself by saying it was my first time after all, maybe next time I will do better.
Yet another time came and still same story for 5times now. But this time she truly understood and always encourage me, I also promised her to see a doctor but I don't have any money with me and I don't want to take anyhow sexual enhancement drug as we all know the side effect.
We were supposed to meet again this weekend but I refused because I didn't want to feel depressed again.

Please Nairalanders what could be wrong with me, is it normal when you first start having sex, is it because I have been masturbating over the years?

Please forgive any error in my writing.
Thanks.
Quit masturbation. Your body is getting used to your hand

I know his in-law a multi millionaire who operates in similar way, he once told me that growing up was hell, therefore they do not want their children to grow up believing that they can afford everything.

It has to do with their up bringing and religious beliefs.

Gosh, I can't believe the same girl that Sang this song is the one I just saw in the pictures on front page.

She looks so young and innocent in the video here.....

I didn't really get the full meaning of the song but sounded like a gospel song, a kind of prayer for restoration.

I pray the God of restoration will visit and restore her lost glory in Jesus name. Amen!
The title of the track is Afefe(Wind)

She was praying for wind of change to bring good tidings to her

alibiguy:
Leon Balogun and Troost-Ekong made their debuts for the Super Eagles in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Rohr joined Nigeria in 2016.

Chukwueze and Kalu weren't part of the 2018 FiFA world cup qualifiers.
Integral part of the team not about having debuts.

Chukweze and Kali joined the team after the World cup. Rohr was appointed few weeks to the qualifier, he brought in more wingers after Moses left and people thought that eagles would struggle without Moses

Education › Re: 6 Types Of Toxic People You Should Avoid In Your Daily Life by femi4: 7:45am On Nov 15, 2020
Save the click

1. The Pessimistic
They are downers in this set of people. On anything and everything around them, they are pessimistic. In any case, they still see nothing but the worst. They are full of negative vibes and put you in fear when you try to take the big step that will carry you forward, showing you instances of individuals who have tried and failed.

Pessimistic people have a way to play with your feelings and you can give up on your goals if you are not careful and you think it's never possible. These individuals appear to assume that it is more likely that bad things will happen than good.

2. The Haters
In all and every one these individuals never see the positive. They still have something negative to tell for other people.

Funny enough these people also suffer from complexes of inferiority and hate is a relief for them. They seem to be poisonous and in some, they never encourage you to see the positive and hate is a spirit that can be consanguineous.

3. The Envious People

Instead of celebrating their successes, these groups of individuals still want to compare their performance with others. They are continually comparing themselves to others and struggling with feelings of inadequacy through a lack of self-esteem and fragile self-confidence.

They also overreact to something and anything because of their perceived need for attention. People like this are toxic because they can ruin your trust and self-esteem to the point that you don't think you're good at anything anymore.

4. The Needy

We all have needs and may need support from others at some point, but some people are still in need and have made it a habit to ask at all times. Those in need come to you only when they want something from you.

Only when they need you to help them out do they know you exist. They're never around when you need them, but when they need you, they want you to be. For a variety of items, ranging from financial aid, emotional help, quality time, or what you have, vulnerable individuals may be clingy. Regardless of whether it is easy for you or not, they like to get what they want. They are in other words, consumers.

5. The Self Absorbed

It is not bad in itself to show yourself some self-love, but when it becomes a narcissistic fixation that turns off other people around you, then it becomes an issue.

Any other individual is regarded by the self-absorbed as insignificant because they are too concerned with their own emotions and what interests them without regard for the rest of the world. Instead of the 'we', they are still the 'I'. Everything they are doing is still focused around them.

6. The Conformers of Closeminded

Anyone who wants to stop individual development is a close-minded conformer. It may be a good intention, but then they just want you to be at their stage. If you want to shed the bad habit and grow a new one or you don't want to be stuck forever in the same place because you think you should do so much more with your life, there are only there to give you reasons why you should be happy where you are and that there is no need for improvement. They're not doing this because they hate you, but because they're afraid of losing you.

They don't want to step beyond their comfort zone, and they don't want you to abandon your own, and you're still within their control by holding you back, so you don't grow apart.

You guys are shallow minded, who have no brains to comprehend what is saying. Otherwise you should have known quite well that what he meant was that they should values the process than the product. That is to say value what Donald Trump is fighting for which was the process of the election than the fraudulent product of the Joe Biden.

Sports › Re: Should Gernot Rohr Continue As Super Eagles Coach? by femi4: 7:29am On Nov 15, 2020
alibiguy:
I beg to differ on the issue of Siasia and other indigenous coaches. I still stand to be corrected, no local coach has been given the unalloyed support to succeed as the coach of the Super Eagles because if they got the support, we won't have Rohr. Remember that Samson Siasia wasn't the NFF's first choice, Keshi was; and what transpired with him (Siasia)? Your guess is as good as mine. Despite the challenges he still left us with a team that had capacity unlike Rohr who seems to me like one who doesn't understand his team.

You stated that Rohr qualified us with a game to spare and I asked if he infused any new blood into the team. The point I was trying to make is that there was a team ready for him to work with. The groundwork had been laid.
Balogun and Troos became the integral part of the team under rohr

Brought in more wingers in Chukweze, and Kali

More options in right and left full backs
