I go to eat. I visit our Amala place. Did my do and departed. Driving out, two ladies beckoned for a ride. Being a kind guy I stopped. I can swear on Yemoja that their revealing outfits had no impact on my decision. Nor did the fact that one was generously endowed influence me. I was being the kind man, my mother taught me to be. My father had also imbibed in me the “damsel in distress” thinking.



They both get in. One in front and the other in the rear. I did not engage in small talk. Then one answered a call in the car. Out of courtesy I reduced the volume. The one in the rear.



I kept on driving and she kept shouting into her phone. At some point she tapped my shoulders, then gestured that I reduce the volume more.



That’s when I just found a place to park. Politely asked both to come down.



Is it that I resemble Uber? Enter my car and turned up my music again. I saw them give my car the high five. The one you use to greet people’s mother.



My conscience was clear as I drove off.

I don't want to beleive this but the APC and yahaya bellow should know that recycling the power withing one territory is repeating the same politics of bitterness the Igala played.
Secondly yahaya bello should know that the igbiras are not overwhelming the majority in kogi, he needs friends.
It would be sellable if he had zoned to the kaaba people of kogi while retaining the support of the igbiras people would be more appealing in the state.
The igbiras are not the strongest in kogi and it would be wrong not having friends.

I don't want to bore you guys with long epistle. Yes, as the title suggests.

I travelled to Canada through the study route this January but I can tell you for a fact that I'm already bored with this place.

I'm redoing a 2 year program that I have already concluded in Naija but just because I want japa, I redid it. But that's not the issue.

The issue is that I'm working in a company but the department I was posted to was a physical demanding one..

To the extent that if I work for a day, I feel pain all over my body for a week. And this is seriously affecting my education because anytime i go to work, i wouldn't have the energy to do anything again as i would be so weak. but i have to work because i have bills to pay.

Nobody send you for here except you want sleep for cold outside.

Even half of my salary goes in the form of settling bills.

The work makes me depressed. This is not what I bargained for. .

For me to raise money for my tuition fees and travel expenses, at least I wasn't doing bad in Nigeria before i left. In addition, I hardly have time for myself.

My situation is even better, most of people who we came same time haven't found jobs yet.

My thinking is if I should ask for refund of my remaining tuition fee and relocate back Naija, or go back Naija and take some courses online, as there seems to be an option for that.

Hello all, I need to know if I'm doing some things right or over reacting.

My wife and I just married some months ago and we just spend here and there on stuffs. I bought food stuffs in the house and told her I will place her on 40k monthly to cover for soups and all and I expect her to add to it if it's not enough.

I foot all bills- house rent, Power, and all . She earns a decent 6 figures salary also which is slightly higher than mine without the allowances I get.

She expects me to still give her another allowance apart from the 49k I give her for food.

Each time she buys stuff in the house she always want me to pay back in full; most times, I just pay a part of it which she always frowns and complains about.

It appears she has a notion that her money is her money and mine is ours.

My income is more than hers though.

Do you think I should still give her personal pocket money?

Humans generally have the tendency to apportion blame to others for their own mistakes.

Instead of taking responsibility for them, they were quick to find someone else to blame.

Some are quick to even blame the devil when caught in the act, even though the devil cannot force them to do anything without their own consent.

This tendency, they seemed to have inherited from their foremost ancestors, Adam and Eve, who after eating the forbidden fruit which God commanded them not to eat were blaming someone else for their own error, with Adam blaming "the woman" while Eve "the woman" blamed "the serpent"... Genesis 3:12-13

So sadly it seems humans have not yet learnt from the errors of the first humans on earth, as they're still playing the blame game up til date, so they were bound to continue repeating the same mistakes they made instead of repenting from them, which however comes with serious eternal consequences, for "the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23

Hence the question, who would you blame if you end up in hell fire?

As for me, I would only have myself to blame because if after God has done everything thing He could to ensure I don't end up in hell fire but have eternal life, I still managed to end up there for whatever possible reason I could conjure, it could only be my own fault and no one else, because no one, not even the devil, could force me to reject life and choose death without my consent.

Good morning all.Please Genuine Civil Servants working here,How long after getting your appointment letter does it take you to do capturing.

I have a problem my wife was given an appointment letter since september last year and have been awaiting to be captured into the government payroll.
To me she has been scanned cos getting an appointment letter is easy very easy from Abuja ,but getting captured Na the Koko cos not easy getting paid.
Me as a man ,iv done my part but from day 1 I told her Na scam but u know with women.This Jobs are organised by a syndicate ,like I heard they were like 40 taken,and I believe all they are waiting for is May 29,they slug in their names ,the man is his her uncle but I might expose him soon as all transfers made via my account.

I need hear from genuine civil servants pls.
Total each candidate paid was 2 million.

Y'all sounding like Nigeria is a balanced country where you can plan well. Here companies sack anyhow, companies owe you, businesses fail, people get defrauded, people have health issues that take their finances. That is why people are willing to do anything to get a government job that will give them security. How many government jobs are available?
See don't blame people. You never know what shoes they are in. And if you were, you may not be able to do better. If you can help, help. If you can't help yourself alone. But don't go to church claiming to be a christian when you believe giving charity is promoting entitlement mentality.

Here is my story....

I have a 3 siblings and I am at odds with my eldest who is a lady. The way it is, I may never have a conversation with her again.

She was the first person to be invested in by my parents after which I came. Luckily enough, she was able to strike gold in her career and do well for herself. She went abroad for her masters with my parents supporting with half-payment. Unfortunately, whenever it came to family demands and helping the other younger siblings, she has either been negligent or grudgingly does so.

Few years after going abroad, she decided to lockup and sends only 40k home which is supposed to cater for food for a month.
Now parents are retired, the whole family weight falls on my following sibling and I. The youngest one education is on me. Happy she will finish soon. Parents need to be supported in challenging times, one is coping with diabetes and the other is with some challenging issues I can't say here. Their savings are being sapped by their needs to keep living on.

But my so-called elder sister based in Canada despite knowing their condition is silent. She still sends her peanuts, while I and my younger brother who is an upcoming fashion designer do 2X what she does. This aches our parents and sometimes makes our mother cry and our father rant with regret.

A time now came, our mum got admitted in the hospital. Condition was so salient that she had to be hospitalized for weeks. Hospital bill was 450k. The Canada-based first born doing a good job, who was always talking to her, praying with her on phone, etc only sent 100k. We the others did the rest. Glad mum is back at home but her heart is broken and has refused to talk with her. She's been in Canada for 5 years and has refused to even support any of her siblings to come abroad too.

My other siblings say because we all refuse to be dictated to by her is the reason for her behaviour. I don't care. Mine is that if you know that you are going to be useless to a family, let your parents know before hand so the money used in training/feeding you can be used for farming business which will despite bad weather bring returns than on a child who feels is not obligated to support the parents who supported you all through.
