Get well, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. Sharp intellect. Strong character. |
Book of lamentations. Lamentations doesn't solve problem. |

Dream big, Zazu dream big. It is allowed. |
Many high net worth individuals donate much silently to protect their business interests. But not naive Evelyn TB Joshua whose church has a couple of strategic business units that operate under regulation of APC-controlled Lagos State government. Well... |
Davido should allow Portable make money abeg. He is not a politician but a professional entertainer. If any political party pays for his services, he delivers. |
I will not surprised if national president of ASUU has children attending foreign university. Nigeria is a poor country that has no place for the poor. Ike agwugwom! |
On two avoidable occasions, Peter Obi campaign communications in Hausa language have been wrongly worded. This won't be happening if professionals were engaged to do their thing. It is poor to employ google translate but as you know "we no dey give shishi". The scanty crowd at LP Osun State round-off governorship campaign could have been avoided if willing youths were mobilized from all over Osun State to the venue in buses. At the end of the day, the perception that Obi-dient movement is online affair was strengthened by that avoidable poor outing. Well, you already know "we no dey give shishi". Campaigns activities cost money. The philosophy of "we no dey give shishi" will certainly work against Peter Obi. He needs to change a bit, professionalize things and step up things with funding. |
Congrats, worthy alumnae. |
I hear you! The only gender that came with 'supermarket' as part of their body. ![]() |
Nigerian politicians will be praying against Kemi Badenoch already. Verily verily I say into you, Nigerian politicians will sweat if she becomes the PM. She will come with HOLY vendetta against them for messing up her motherland. |
If you can calculate what is spent on Senators, of which Shehu Sani was a member, as allowance for 4 years you will realise that this country can easily afford to meet the financial demands of ASUU with regards to our public university system. You see, this country won't move forward until we accept we are part of the problem and resolve to sincerely be part of the solution. I bet, if Shehu Sani sees another opportunity, he will go to the Senate primarily to make money full time and make laws part time. Notice, that since he is unable to go back to the Senate, he like Dino Melaya, has been managing portfolio of investments made from humongous allowances earned. In his spare time, he will tweet to maintain intellectual relevance. Outside, he has done absolutely nothing to contribute socially to the society. |
Well |
It is that time. Time for political shenanigans. Daily Post doing everything to boost traffic. |
Arewa Consultative Forum like Ohanaeze Ndigbo and Afenifere has little political force in Northern Nigeria to dictate who becomes the president because they are all partisan. It is the popular politicians at different constituencies and zones who have foot soldiers and have been spending money to oil the machinery that largely influence the outcome election results for their parties at ward levels, which are cumulatively collated to form state result. |
Of all arguments I have read on Tinubu's Muslim-Muslim ticket, this one by Babachir Lawal is most logical and captures the subject-matter in '3-dimensions'. He has frankly communicated as Tinubu's friend and as a Northern Christian who wears the shoes. From all indications, Tinubu's presidential ambition has blinded him and made him insensitive to the diversity and unity of the nation he is aspiring to lead. Even if he wins, it can only be pyrrhic victory that may not guarantee peace for governance. However, Nigeria is far greater than Tinubu and lifelong ambition. I trust Abubakar Atiku to take full advantage. Kashim Shettima appears as a tactful politician. If he is, he should volunteer to step down for greater Nigeria. And history will remember him forever. In conclusion, may Nigeria become more unified, stronger and more prosperous. God bless Nigeria. |

No emotions. Get your PVC. Make the electoral decision you believe is the BEST for Nigeria. What is excellent about this write-up is that Fr. Oluoma faced the raw political realities of Nigeria without bellyaching but boldly appealed to Northern Muslims to exercise sense of fairness and justice for the sake of positive nation-building even if their number would tilt things in favour of Muslim-Muslim ticket . |
Ahmed Musa is not your usual political activist. He contributes his quota quietly. For him to say this shows the situation is criminally bad. So so sad! |
Aguba needs serious rehabilitation. Poverty messed up his mind and entire being. Saying that he needs a wife from Israel is stunning. It looks like IPOB's Israelite rants are also interfering with transmissions in his brain. ![]() |
Concept of loyalty is badly abused by Nigerian politicians to maintain their hold on the country's resources. Positive disloyalty to entrenched politicians is needed today to break away from the present stagnant & rotten status quo. It's needed to cause positive disruption of the polity for the emergence of a new political order. I salute Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for leading the way. |
Well ... |
By choosing a Northern Muslim, Tinubu made a calculated move to win power. Yes, it may be insensitively audacious but he has exercised his political right as a presidential candidate. The array of candidates and their support-bases drove him into this gamble. Right now, it is up to Nigerians to speak their minds on this combination come 2023 election. If majority reject him and his VP candidate, he will crawl back to Oluremi at Bourdillon. But, if he wins, then the gamble paid off. |
This is what you get when you recruit DSS intelligence personnel based on ethnicity or with intention to give jobs to relations instead of high IQ and uncanny analytical sense to converge down the line what looked like parallel lines at the beginning point. What happened to undercover and infiltration operations? We need to reform, reorganize and re-professionalize DSS in line with global standard practices peculiar to its peers in developed countries. |
Of course, there is no way Gov. Nyesom Wike would dump PDP when he has planted his acolytes as PDP candidates in Rivers State at different levels for 2023 elections. He will be stupid to do that. As for Sen. Bukola Saraki, immediately after the presidential primary, he ran back to Kwara State and has been silently working hard to secure the bag for next four years. Only four years of being outside government and he felt like fish out of water. He has all his life lived on public fund and money from ran-down family bank. How Bukola Saraki as young man born, raised and trained as a doctor in United Kingdom with urbane disposition and gift of the gab failed woefully to change the situation of Kwara State for 8 years but superbly boosted his wealth as governor is something that needs to be a case study in leadership failure research. |

Majority of Nigerians are selfishly religious. There are exceptions, I must admit but they in small minority. Many people just care about themselves their families and may be close friends. People give money to rich people as birthday presence while neglect to help children from poor backgrounds to get education or help some poor folks to start productive activities. Most Nigerian NGOs are for raising money for founders' needs or downright scamming platforms. Foundations are simply political vehicle to gather political supporters to buy votes. Meanwhile, Oyibo people has little religion but more love for people in need and for humanity in general. |
Salym:I didn't tag Northerners as illiterates. I will never do that. I was referring to uneducated young people who are often given handouts and told what to do. |
Esseite:Did Peter Obi loot collective resources to gain the support of SE? |
Not a bad choice in terms both qualifications and presence. However, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed is politically speaking, very lightweight both nationally and locally. Looking dope, polished and elitist is good but Nigerian politics is akin to a fight in the jungle. I am not sure what his association with Northern youths has been to use them as his support-base and foot-soldiers. Can the 'Northern street' readily identify with him? Moreso, when that street is largely illiterate and helplessly gullible as the result of aloofness of young professionals like him. Matter of fact, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed is not any different from the other Northern elites who in spite of their exposure and erudition just stay aloof, do their things and mind their businesses without doing anything socially to empower the young Northerners. Nevertheless, if this is Peter Obi+Datti Baba Ahmed's time, things will fall in place on their own with little effort. |
Poor sense of professionalism from Kizz Daniel. It will certainly dent his brand. Look, if you are really a musician by calling, any opportunity to connect with your fans should be your happiest moment. Mic in hand, a solid stage set and passionate fans who paid for your talent should be enough incentives to make you perform with joy to keep your fans joyous. |
