Something is certain wrong with us as a people. PMAN not working. AGN not working. Only NURTW seems to be working. Otherwise, why should musicians and actors not have a creative health insurance scheme that guarantees at least a substantial amount in case of specific expensive medical procedures? You can't organize yourselves but you expect miracle from your kinds in government. Nonsense! Eedris Abdulkareem will come of this stronger to praise God. |

Not a bad CV but the problem has never been CV. The problems are always: - Lack of clear vision of the direction the country should go - Compensatory appointments that disregard competence in favour of political expedience - Lack of practical ideas to go in the projected direction - Deliberate mismanagement of resources - Weak supervision of appointees to allow looting for their support for 2nd term bid while in 1st term - Lack of open and humble mindset to solicit for and accept revolutionary ideas from anywhere. |

Sen Ike Ekweremmadu like the other Nigerian politicians is selfish, corrupt and visionless. He may not be guilty but this ordeal might be his purgatory to review his life in his lonely cell and evaluate what contributions he has made to better other people's lives as a politician. I am sure he will find little positive contribution. The first thing that will hit him is that if the University Teaching Hospitals were upgraded with VVIP section installed and doctors paid as good as legislators, he wouldn't be in this mess. It takes nothing to do the right thing. And doing this pleases God more attending empty religious activities. Unfortunately, other politicians won't learn from this. |
Timaya, be grateful for success achieved and what come with it. How many people wanted to shake your hands when you were selling plantain? Count your blessings and be calming down. |
Lagos PDP not serious. No doubt, Funke Akindele is a good actress and content creator but she has minimal administrative experience for state like Lagos. She is the CEO of Scene One Production but it was her ex-husband JJC Skillz who actively managed staff and projects given her temper and pugnacity. Now, time to talk about that failed marriage: Funke Akindele had worked with JJC Skillz on a project, liked his deep experience. She sensed that she would gain more business-wise by making him an in-house partner. She made a move and JJC Skillz needing love at the time fell like a park of cards. So the marriage was more of a business relationship with intimacy than a marital relationship built on mutual love. Good thing is Funke Akindele achieved her dream of becoming a mother and JJC Skillz expanded his branches. One thing must be said though: if JJC Skillz (Abdul-Rasheed Bello) had become wealthy and world-famous in line with his artistic accomplishments as international producer, songwriter, performing artiste and showbiz impresario over the years, Funke Akindele would be queuing up with tears of joy for his autography. He once had Dbanj, Don Jazzy and others as members of his group JJC & 419 squad. Dude has paid his dues very early in life but I guess either sh*t happened or wealth is not just in his stars. |
Heads should roll |
Likely she was never fully fit for our match against South Africa. If she was then she brought this injury to herself by playing half-heartedly. In my opinion, at this point and with her current attitude, she is placing FC Barceloba above wearing Nigeria's jersey. May be playing without her will help. |
Obi vs Kwankwanso |
If bandits and Boko Haram terrorists had infiltrated FCT for sometimes now as Intel by DSS had shown, why should all high-profile Boko Haram prisoners and captured bandits still be kept in Kuje Prisons instead of scattering them all over prisons and military detention centres all over the country? How come DSS didn't pick up Intel on this attack given that FCT where the seat of government and DSS main office are should be well-covered? There is more to this ... |
Power of the Social Media. |
Both Rabiu Kwankwanso and Peter Obi know that a political marriage between NNPP and LP will win 2023 presidential election easily. By going alone, each may come short. However, there are two obstacles: - First, none of them wants to step back as VP due to ego. Having been Executive Governors with 'constitutionally stranded' Deputies, both Kwankwanso and Obi know how useless and helpless the VP would be once the election is over and kitchen cabinet (cabal) is formed. - Second, supporters of each want their candidate to run for president and nothing less or they will withdraw their support. Kwankwasiya movement believes they have existed long before the Obedients movement and therefore should produce the president. On the other hand, the Obedients rising from the ashes of Youth-driven EndSars protests want to make a statement with Peter Obi's candidacy. The reality is that Kwankwanso could see that a golden opportunity to capture power from APC is slipping away and he is restless or rather paranoid about it. He is wondering why Peter Obi can't see what he is seeing for himself and SE. However, Peter Obi on his part being scared of losing his organic supporter-base wants to give the battle his best no matter what the outcome will be. One thing is certain, if an alliance between Kwankwanso and Peter Obi is one that would have taken Nigeria forward, we may yet have lost the golden opportunity given the current mutual grandstanding. |
May God continue to bless and give more anointing to Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere and his ministry for spreading the love of God. |
SpearofGod:They didn't allow the first one? Did they? It happened on them like a movie. |
SpearofGod:EndSars protesters didn't have AK 47s. Did they? |
Telling the civil populace to arm and defend themselves suits our visionless leaders to confidently continue to shirk real governance while mismanaging public money. While you fight the terrorists and get killed, the police and army who are paid by the public fund guard the politicians and their families as they continue in office. Instead of arming to defend themselves, Nigerians should use that courage to defiantly demand higher standard of governance from our Governors, the Legislators and the President. EndSars protests showed that a lot can be achieved by active interrogation of our leaders. The truth is that it our political leaders that we should fight against. Fight the failed corrupt political leaders. They are the real terrorists. |
Hakeem Baba-Ahmed's brother? Well, you never know. It might turn out right. |

In spite of its of several years of existence, Actor Guild of Nigeria is still like Nigeria, unable to cater for its members. Zero welfare package ideas that are applicable to Nigerian peculiarities. It has been leadership tussle upon leadership tussle. Even on individual members level, there is lack of love or solidarity. How could a member be left behind in such pitiable situation without any member noticing. Nonsense! Tomorrow they will blame politicians. |
