I really think you should stop apologising after every argument. I sincerely think you should avoid the argument. If he likes to be greeted, greet him. Morning afternoon and night, nothing spoil. Dont be toooo expectant of your husband, they always disappoint. Put your hope and expectation in God. If he starts an argument, try to hold yourself and dont talk much, this does not mean you agree with him, it means you want peace to reign. Have time for yourself, do something you love. Listen to music, if you like use earphones, read a book, start some excercise, bake a cake. Do simple things to spice up YOUR life. My dear, happiness is within you find it. Look at the good things in your life. I know that feeling... I later realised that the things I attached so much meaning to, did not mean anything to him. Wishing you the best. |

Very lovely piece. My life changed when I realised I could take control of my thoughts. I could actually tune out negative thoughts and focus on the positivity in my life. I was blessed more when I started being grateful for what I have, even when it appeared as nothing to others. I became a happy person. Its not very easy and requires one to work on ones self and thoughts. Its easier for me these days and I know I am becoming a better person. Thank you for this. |

I would not do anything immediately. I will be shocked , definitely. I will think long and hard about what I did wrong in raising this child. I will much later have a one on one discussion to ascertain if she really knows what she is talking about, get her to open up to me . I will let her know that I am opposed to it but I will try not to judge her. My miracle working God does not sleep, so I will tender my case to baba God. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Good Friday: Is Abstaining From Meat Superstitous Or Biblical? by fexichi(f): 10:56am On Apr 03, 2015 |
heatflux: Pls be informed! The practice of abstaining from meat is a catholic doctrine. Its usually practised during lenten season especially on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday in preparation for Easter. It has nothing to do with the flesh of Jesus Christ or superstition as some would say. Its simply a form of fast, self denial from such pleasure/enjoyment. Its Abstinence from meat just as you would abstain from food and water while fasting n praying. The idea is that you deny yourself from that specific satisfaction while asking God for forgiveness of your sins. thank you for speaking my very thoughts. I only wish you were on the front page. It is actually not by force and will only mean something if done wholeheartedly. |
