What is this nonsense about Southern unity that I have been reading/hearing recently. Political alliance between all the tribes in southern Nigeria is a pipe dream, it would NEVER work !!. The farther apart we are, the better for us as a country. As a Yoruba I'll suggest Nigeria be restructured to a confederation of autonomous regions that can determine their own political fate without any recourse to a phantom southern unity. Better still, the complete balkanisation of this country would suffice.
