In 1991, Nigerian Airways had an Air crash killing 247 people on board before they could dissolve out of shame:

NaijaPikinGidi: :: SAA has 4 crashes since 1954.
:: SA Airlink has 3 crashes 1954.
Add the average of 5 yearly plane crashes in South Africa since 1954.

:: Nigeria Airways has 2 crashed since 1954.
:: Harka Air has 1 crashes since 1954.
:: ADC Airlines has 2 crashes since 1954.
:: Arik Air has 0 crashes since 1954.
:: EAS Airlines has 1 crash since 1954.
:: Bellview Airlines has 1 crash since 1954.
:: Sosoliso Airlines has 1 crash since 1954.
:: Aero Contractors Airline Nigeria has 0 crashes since 1954.
:: Dana Air Nigeria has 1 crash since 1954.

Based on individual airline crash counts, it is evident that South Africa Airways has recorded the most, followed by SA Airlinks and defunct Nigeria Airways. Arik Air and Aero Contractors still have clean sheets with no crash records.

I leave your tiny heads to absorb the very simple facts provided here.

NaijaPikinGidi: 1.
You don't even understand yourself! the same way I have reflected the activities of your new EFF and Julius Malema and crew as having potential to destroy South Africa. Even your President found him a threat and expelled him. He has had brushes with your DA, FFP and Police, etc.

2.
Meanwhile who told you that Boko Haram has overpowered the army? BH runs away and basically attacks innocent and unarmed civilians because they are unable to face the military. Nigeria and the world do not entertain the agenda of BH except for you South African bunch. Criticize yourself and your SANDF that model weapons in CAR and DRC when they should be fighting! a country with a weak army criticizing a seasoned and potent Nigerian army? grin grin grin

You can preach us a sermon about the incapacity of Malema and EFF but you know, and every South African knows that he spells trouble for your present and future of your wobbly South Africa! It's just so ironic that your poor, jobless, and illiterate masses adore and will give their votes so willingly to the Malema and Kunene suhi-eating crew. Black, white, and coloured ... will soon be butting heads!

grin grin grin grin grin

Enjoy.
EFF does not pose any threat to our beautiful South Africa. They are not militant group nor rebels.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 4:34pm On Sep 10, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Charmed? Just like you have been CHARMED by terrorists - BOKO HARAM? The joke is on you and the illiterate SA masses who will surely vote them into serious political offices. The real threat is in the lives that will be lost by your weak brained masses as soon as they begin to get incited and pushed into racial and hate charged violence by your so-called radicals at EFF. Yoy must be reading differently from my comments! Kunene has been silenced ... will Malema be next?

The world is watching! shocked shocked shocked shocked
Who said that we are charmed by the BH, we just only reflect their activities as having potential to destroy Nigeria and even your president has admitted to that. We are criticising your army for being overpowered by the BH on their backyard.

Meanwhile, who told you that the EFF will be majority winner on the next years election. The EFF will not even achieve 5% of the total national votes because people know that Julius does not have the capacity to work the land and even run the mines. We do not entertain the agenda of Julius Malema because we all know well that during his days of glory he never even bothered to share his millions with the poor. Everything start with yourself when you suggest that people must share their wealth, let it start by you.

BTW, the world is watching the BH fiasco.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 3:51pm On Sep 10, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Really? No one gives a damn about your EFF, Julius Malema or Kenny Kunene! This is just to highlight how hypocritical you bunch are when it comes to projecting how holy and perfect South Africa is. Yet these men are the future of your country! They are on the verge of securing political positions by false pretext of nationalization of multinational businesses and exproproiation of white-held/owned land in South Africa.

You evidently (like FighterPilot) feel so jittery about my exposing this, yet you are the ones so obsessed with Nigeria's resurgence economically and politically. You are the ones obsessed by a faceless Boko Haram going about murdering innocent Nigerians. You are the ones wishing for the SoE operations to fail ... and you are the ones wishing for the end of a resilient, strong and united Nigeria in 2015? shocked shocked shocked shocked On every score you and the naysayers have always been disgraced. Our enigmatic Nigeria will continue to confound your minds and thoughts! Come 2015, I hope that you'll still be here to eat your words for ... breakfast, lunch, and dinner! grin grin grin grin

Go eat your rotten sushi like your silenced Kunene!!
You say " No one gives damn about Julius Malema", but is you who seem to have been charmed by JM and Kenny kunene. Let us tell you both of them pose no threat to disintegrate us. They still haven't fired a single shot, but BH had. The real threat is BH which vowed to your president never to back down on what they wanted the most and that's a Muslim state. You seem to bring a friendly picture to us and paint it as if it is a horror. Nobody fears JM in SA and not even white people, instead they attend his media briefings and public speeches to listen to the jokes that he likes to crack because a man himself is a big joke.

NaijaPikinGidi: Below is a chronicle of South African hypocrisy, stupidity and ignorance about Nigeria's aviation industry. It just had to come down to this, for the records. When deliquent juveniles make baseless commentary about Nigeria and our growing private sector driven aviation industry it's hard to allow them get away with their ignorance. Arik Air is a thriving commercial airline and this fact makes rubbish of the comments below. MsauZA thinks Arik Air is the same airline as the one owned by the Nigerian military? grin
SAA might be broke but it is the most safest Airline in Africa. Since when was the last time did they ever had a plane crash, for real that I cannot recall. Yes, Msauza is not wrong, because there is this perception among people across the world that Nigerians cannot fly plane safely due to the plane crashes that had been happening in that country. We even thought that country is cursed because of frequent civilian plane crashes which had been going on in Naija.

Yes. SAA is still ranked top in Africa, no argument. Arik Air is still very young and has taken over form now defunct Nigerian Airways which was insolvent. The SAA is a government airline and can never perish before the very eyes of our leaders and its business has now improved because they are stating to see profit coming in ever since the new CEO took over. It is now long since they last gone to parliament to ask for a bail out. I can even link you to their financial report if you want to other than going to older reports and link them as if they are new.

Don't make me to paint the same black picture about your aviation industry which we all know well does not perform to its utmost best.

NaijaPikinGidi: He is your reminder of the breakup that is awaiting your South Africa. Read the article so you can assimilate SA's present and future realities into your thick head! Your Julius Malema could never be a role model for any Nigerian. He is your tantalus. He is the role model of your frustrated and jobless youth, the false saviour of your poverty-striken masses and a pain in the backside of your theiving elite/politicians! He is the feared one who will bring your SA to standstill like in Zimbabwe!

Whenever you pray for a collapse of a resurgent Nigeria ... never ever forget the name Julius Malema and his Economic Freedom Fighters political "party"!

angry angry angry
Julius Malema only take advantage of the goodwill of our constitution and gains of our democracy. He has every right to form a political party and tell lies like what all politicians do across the world.

He would have never achieved that in Nigeria because people are denied such rights to stand on the public platform and publicly criticise and ridicule the president. You do such in Nigeria and tomorrow you will be silenced for good. Julius Malema cannot do anything without the ANC, he was more powerful under the colours of the ANC and surely he remains inert under EFF. Is not the first time we have such parties in SA which propagate land grabs and nationalisation in PAC and AZAPO. All of them are now shadows of themselves because people of SA are all fed up with this so called extreme or radical fighters.

agaugust: the post i made with sources about how Iran shoots down many American stealth drones, actually gave both you @andrewza and @fighter pilot a double blow technical knock out...so please s.hut up and find a new topic to discuss, you plastic toy soldiers cheesy

.
That's a lie, that CIA drone crashed and I gave you the link before to read and see how did it crashed, but instead you avoided to read it, so I will advise you to follow my posts and get hold of that link. It is very informative because it comes from experts point of view about the use of drones. It is a big lie that Iran has been shooting over 20 American drones and the only drone which they can show is the CIA drone RQ-170. Drones are often shot when they are on a reconnaissance (spy) mode because they become so curious to come close enough to capture information. Drones on a battle mode are difficult to shoot because they fly higher and do not even freeze in the sky to capture details, their only mandate is to kill. Finish and klaar.

RQ-170 was too big and ever since then the US is using small modern drones to conduct their recce operations.

I say again our drones will finish the whole of Nigeria and reduce it to ashes. Drones flying at 17000ft armed with two mokopas each will harm Nigeria beyond recognition. We will crash you as if we are just playing SONY playstation III. Our drones will be hitting your soldiers left, right and centre with all those Mokopas. We have a team that is well skilled at flying that piece of technology and let me tell you, they are very good. I have seen them with my eyes how aggressive are they and the saddest thing is that you cannot see them, the only thing that you can see is the missile rushing at you with a supersonic speed. NaijaPikinGidi: It's official: Malema's EFF is a political party

Julius Malema's Economic Freedom Fighters got the nod from the Independent Electoral Commission and can officially be called a political party.

Julius Malema's Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has officially been recognised as a political party.

The Independent Electoral Commission confirmed with the Mail & Guardian on Thursday afternoon that the party's registration to contest next year's general elections has been approved. They will also be able to contest local elections, according the a statement by the EFF.

The IEC said they did not generally issue statements on party registrations, but directed the M&G to their website, where the EFF was listed as a party on an alphabetical list, between the lesser known East Rand Forum and the Economic Freedom Movement.

The new party's registration was delayed thanks to a complaint to the IEC by the Freedom Front Plus (FF+) requesting the body decline the application of Malema on constitutional grounds.

"The EFF propagates the nationalisation of land, mines, banks and other assets without compensation, and, in particular, on a racial basis. It is unconstitutional," said FF+ chairperson Pieter Groenewald.

He said Malema had not shown remorse and would continue his "unconstitutional actions" by using the EFF as a vehicle for discriminatory actions and policies.

The party was forced to postpone its official launch, planned to take place in Marikana, North West, due to the incomplete process at the IEC.

Malema said: "EFF extends its gratitude to the Independent IEC for refusing to bow down to right-wing formations and thecurrent murderous regime, which sought to prevent the registration of EFF as a political party."

Malema is the former leader of the ANC Youth League. After a series of suspensions from the party for hate speech and for sowing racial discord in the party, he was expelled in 2012.

Radical policies
In September 2012, Malema was charged with fraud and money laundering. The EFF was then formed by those ousted from the league. It has announced a radical policy basis and programme, including the nationalisation of mines and other assets and the expropriation of land without compensation.

"The people of South Africa should now take a sigh of relief that a giant movement of the people, a fighting force for change, a radical, militant, innovative and determined organisation is now going to be an option to all the existing political parties, which have collectively failed to transform South Africa," said Malema in a statement. "The oppressed and exploited people of the world should now expect real anti-imperialist actions and political programme which will practically and programmatically undermine neoliberalism and global capitalism."

The party has grand ambitions of winning the elections despite considerable odds, not least of which is funding. One of their backers, businessman Kenny Kunene, recently left the party and it is unclear where the considerable numbers needed to finance a campaign will come from.

"EFF will be contesting elections in order to be government, not in order to be a toothless opposition party in various parliaments and legislatures," said Malema.

Behold the dawn of a downward spiral for our holier than thou South Africans. cool cool cool cool Nigeria on the rise come what may!
What is it with you and Julius Malema? You have literally turned him as your role model these days.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 11:12am On Sep 10, 2013
agaugust: nigeria has nuclear weapons ambition because of its status as giant of africa.

all those nuclear non-proliferation treaties are mere papers that can by torn to shreds when national security interest is at stake. what did the world do to Pakistan when it tested its first nuclear bomb ? even if the UN says anything, China and Russia will always oppose the American/NATO side of UN.

nigeria will build a nuclear bomb and keep the white people away from any future african domination, we africans will be colonizing ourselves by ourselves, nigeria will re-colonize south africa as your new 'boer-masters'....we will mine and suck all your mineral deposits.....and i am personally interested in your teenage daughter as a wife, free without paying bride price cheesy cheesy

.
You must be kidding, before we go anywhere, who gave that status of Giant of Africa to Nigeria? I can as well give those accolades to SA because there was never any competition whatsoever which reigned Nigeria as the Giant of Africa.

Secondly, you are not even a government representative nor the president to decide for Nigeria to reverse their actions and position about nuclear non-proliferation. I say again, Nigeria shall never promote nor have any intentions to possess weapons of mass destruction because they do not only pose a serious danger to the enermy but also to the citizens of Nigeria. That will only be your wish alone. Shame!!!

It is very good to remind us of where do we come from. I still miss those days because now everything has been changed beyond my wildest imaginations. I remember how soweto used to have all those squatters around it, but now all that has gone away, all that we can say is "once upon a time". Our only remembrance lies in our minds and we seldom refresh our memories with those pictures. My son does not even believe me when I tell him that South Africa was once like a ghetto, that once upon a time people never had sewage, clean running water, shinning tarred roads, mansions in Sandton and Sunny side, Gautrains, etc. All that has gone away because we have done more in 20years. The government is building infrastructure everyday, the homeless get homes everyday. Yes, I mean everyday, free houses with sewage, guiser and tap water are build in South Africa and so are shinny tarred roads.

Why do you have to remind me about the past Agaugust?

souldust: hmmmm i read some replies to my last posts and i cannot stop laughing at how DAFT these SADafricans (i think they are living up to their name here 'SADafricans) are. The 33percent is officially confirmed!

I repeat; GDP per capita is the value of your GDP divided by the total population. You have 10 people. One of them has 50naira and each of the other 9 has 5.55naira so that among all 10 people, the total amount of money is 100naira.

Their per capita would be 10naira. But this does not reflect the fact that 1 person has 10 times what everyone else has. So you can see why i said GDP per capita is just textbook economics and not a true reflection of how well people live.
I told you that you are getting more foolish by the day. Now imagine how was it going to be like when they would have been 30 of them to depend on 100Naira. Surely, it was going to be worst than the first senario. Those with more money they create jobs to hire others and that way the economy will have more capacity to cater for the wellbeing of its citizens.

Now picture in your mind, when a small lift (GDP) will have to elevate 300 people(Capita) and a big lift (GDP) will have to elevate 50 people (Capita). You better go and learn about Mr A. Smit theory.

33% power brain will teach a whole lot of things that a 419 brain does not know, ask agaugust who never knew that gunships can take off in motion, running or moving slowly.

souldust: whats GDP per capita? The worth of a country's GDP divided by entire population. But what if the money is in the hands of a few? As is the case with SADafrica. How then can GDP per capita be a true indication of how well a people are living? SADafricans who keep pointing to GDP per capita as a true measure of how well a people are living and as a compensation for losing the number 1 slot, are not only dying men but are as Daft as their over rated universities, fact!
EG: China's GDP dwafs that of UK in two folds, but is the standard of living the same in these two countries? The answer is a big NO. You see that is where the GDP per capita comes in. We do not just make it up, it is very important because it gives the true picture of how well citizens of a country are in terms of the standard of living. There is no first world country which has a low GDP per capita. I hope you understand how important is GDP per capita.

GDP per capita is not about wealth in the hands of the few. Its about improved standard of living per head. Countries with a high GDP per capita have better standard of living than others; pay better salaries than countries with low GDP per head; the government affords to give grants to those who are poor and thus redistributing wealth. Countries with low GDP per capita are still considered poor, irrespective they have bigger GDP or not. Example will be China and India. Many Chinese currently leave their country to SA because of adverse economic conditions in china which is the second biggest economy in the world.

souldust: whats this nonsense i keep hearing from SADafricans here on NL?

Tell them Nigeria will overtake them as largest economy and they will tell you that Nigeria will never catch SADafrica in terms of GDP per capita. Thats the cry of a dying man if you ask me.

The very fact they are quick to make that point only goes to show that they know nothing about real economics
Even if Nigeria overtakes us tomorrow, South Africa will rise again and overtakes Nigeria for good. Well we will only give you that position to let you feel its wamth and thereafter we will reclaim our glory. There's a high posibility of oil in SA and we are the richest in the world in terms of mineral reserves, not even America come any close.

We have the mineral wealth which is over American GDP. In life there is no pain that can match the experience of being overtaken after you have overtake somebody. That is what we will do with Nigeria, ten years will be enough to reclaim our glory now that SA has come up with a new turnaround strategy to reactivate our economic activities. We are going back to the basics to learn where have we gone wrong. Watch this space!!

The big MAY spells out uncertainty. Listen to me, I am saying that Nigerias oil will dry up in 2030. This is quite not the same statements. Nigeria will only be forced to reduce production so that their reserves can last them a little longer upto that 2054. That means Angola will always be on top because you will not even come any close to them..

This is an example:

If Dan has 20litres of water and every day he gives out (sell) a 1litre of water. How many days will it take Dan until all his reserves are depleted? 20 days. However, if Dan wants his water to last him a little longer for more days, he can decide to reduce the scale and sell 500ml instead of a usual 1litre once he realises he has little water left.

Thadaaaaas!!!
