Its amazing that some of these terrorist are happy that Americans are embracing islam. Had these americans been hostile and hunt for the few muslims in their midst, as the xtians are being hunted in muslim dominated countries of the world, islam would have fizzled out of existence. But thank God that the american xtians, and by extension all xtians beyond america, would never kill a soul in the name of service/worship of their God.

Tell your arab colleagues like Iran, S/Arabia, Afghanistan etc, and your foot soldiers like al qaeda, Boko Haram, Taliban etc that they allow gospellers to preach their messages without intimidation, threats to their lives and, and the cruel and heartless killing of innocent christians in the name of god of Muhammed.

Let the muslims dominated countries tolerate other religions and see if the worship centre in Mecca would not be converted to Christ worship centres.

This is referring to the galaxy, the host are the powers and principalities. This would take place prior to the arrival of the new earth and the new heaven. Dont forget that everything we see today would be consumed by fire before the new Jerusalem would descend from God.

I thought Jesus told a thief on the cross that he would be with him in paradise! If that was true, what would had been the fate of the other thief? On the earth/grave still sleeping? For if there exist paradise since then, one can not rule out the existence of hell. This supports the story of Lazarus and the rich man.

No, not a parable but true story. A true account of an event that took place in heaven.

They are reserved in chains of darkness which could mean simply darkness , the kingdom of darkness , slavery to wickedness and darkness. They cannot repent, they cannot change, they are doomed and damned without remedy.

The bible also says the God knows how the wicked are reserved unto the day of judgement.

"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:" - 2 Peter 2:9

This has nothing to do with the sons of God in the bible, no relationship whatsoever.

Also to refer to disobedient angels or humans as Sons of God is totally out of order. Sons of God can only be used to refer to obedient angels or Human Beings.

The angels in question are not the company of that of Satan, for satan is not yet cast into hell, infact he is destined for the lake of fire. The angels in 2peter are presently harmless, in chains of darkness. Satan and his cohorts are everywhere today but definitely not in hell.

Then the quetion, how does God reserve the unjust unto the day of judgement? which according to the verse was referring to humans and angels.

Besides, I think Judas Ischariot was a disciple of Christ, a born again, but later bacame servant of the Devil. Demas was a devout son of God, but but later chose the pleasures of the world. So I maintain that these angels were sons of God prior to the commission of the terrible sin, but became fallen angels after the they sin.

A momentary break from Gen.6 and proper examination of 2Pet.2;4 & Jude 1;6 would be of benefit for this topic.

Since the beginning of this dicussion, no one has dared to to unveils these angels in chains. Pls nobody should tell us this is satan and his co-rebels because Satan is presently not under any bondage, but rather he is ruling the world right now. Then how come some angels in chains and what what was their sins against God.

There is clear agreement btw Peter and Jude concerning some angels under punishment which happen to be the missing link in Gen.6;1-6

1. "And it came to pass, when 'men' began to multiply on the face of the eaarth, and daughters were born unto them," 'Men' here refers to both the living godly and the earthen of that era, no more no less.
2."That the 'sons of God' saw the 'daughters of men' that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose". Why the sudden clarification by the author? For the daughters of men are both the daughters of the godly and the ungodly, but the sons of God gives a distinct and defined the individuals involved in the marriage to the daughters of men, i.e not the sons of men that are given in marriage to the daughters of men but of God

In Job 1;6,the bible called angels the 'sons of God', even Satan presented himself at the gathering. All angels are sons of God, so at the beginning of Gen.6;1, they were sons of God, but at the commission of the sin later in the chapter, they became a fallen angel. angei

It a place where God confined them, both dwelling and angelic body. God did gave them power to manifest in various forms but not to dwell like man on earth.

However, the use of the "sons of God" might differ depending on the context but where am finding hard time believing that "sons of God" in Gen 6:4 are angles is that fact that men already started calling on the name of God before Gen 6, they can also be refer to as "sons of God" and not necessarily angels.

Also, am trying to blend my knowledge with the fact that the book of Job was also written before the law of Moses (pre-law). This is where am finding a though time blending it together. Also, the meaning of "giants" or "nephilim" is different from our mere understanding. I will pull up the meaning from the concordance soon or later.

Also who are these rebellious angels in chains according to the 2Pet 2;4 and what was their sins against God; Jude 1;6,7 shed more light on that, by saying the angels kept not their first estate, but left their own 'habitation'.

I think it is expedient for us to answer these questions;
-who are the sons of God in Gen. 6;4
-was there another rebellion after that of Lucifer aginst God in the heavenlies.

Firstly, the sons of God refers to the angels, Job 1;6 confirm this.
Satan did rebelled against God and the bible confirmed also that he was sent to this world and he is moving around looking for whom to devour, pending the day of judgement. The angels (sons of God) during the Noah's age were not destroyed nor spared by God but were put in chains till the day of judgement.

Is RCCG not of the fold of xtianity? What of Anglican, Catholic, Celestial and the likes, are they not all xtian denominations. Then comes the Ansar deen, Nasfat ,Boko Haram, Quareb, Al qaeda and the likes all have the same denominator--Islam.

I made mention of dancing as an imperfection not because dancing is a criteria for gaining heaven but because it is not unbiblical. I dont enjoy highlighting the shortcomings or imperfection of an individual, how much more the body of Christ. I love AF for there sound doctrine, but I maintain that they definitely have there shortcomings. I have been privilege to attend the church on several occations. I attended their carol few years back and I can testify that they indeed have the largest orchestra in Africa. I was also at the funeral service of the late African Overseer, Rev. Soyinka. The church is not well spread as expected in terms of branches but, every branch is a true reflection of the other.

I love the church for their sound biblical doctrine which is second to known. But for sure they have their own share of imperfection. No dancing during praises, etc. The main focus of every message is always Christ, salvation sanctification, and holy ghost baptism as prerequisite for entry into God's kingdom.

I learnt Pst Kumuyi once attended the church before he founded DCLM.
An ideal church for those who truly thirst for the truth, and are looking forward to the 2nd coming of Christ, and not for fun/pleasure seeking xtians.

Dear swetnecta, I have never had such word as al-taqiyya before, and it is disappointing from religious point of view that it is allowed or acceptable, considering its meaning, in islam. You did mention Peter's denial of Christ, but you failed to mention that he wept bitterly for that singular sin (he did repented of it).

As a matter of fact, Bible categorically declared that all liars shall have their portion in the lake of fire, either white or black lies, holy or evil lies, any form of lie is unpleasant in the presence of God. Some of the apostles of Christ became martyrs for their faith, and standing by the truth. They refused to lie so as to escape being killed. This is the true martyrdom and not the killing of infidels as it is done today by some.

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominables, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Rev. 21;8
So if your religion encourages you to lie in the face of threat, admosity, tribulation, etc then it is probably there is no light in that your religion. 

Besides, saying the truth always is evidence of of fruit of the spirit. A statement of your trust in God that even the people hates to hear it, God is happy to hear it.

The Holy Bible has rightly been described as the The Book of books. Virtually all religions --- Xtianity, Islam, Eck. etc finds solace in identifying with the wonderful message of the book. It doesnt end there, even magicians claims affinity with the book. The truth of the matter is, this book called Bible is the reference book for all religions, sciences, researchers, historians, geologist etc.

Therefore, let the religionist continue to make reference to it to back up there claims, even their holy book dubiously and fraudulently 'copy and paste' directly from it and even goes further to recommend it (The Bible) for their reading.

For whatever reason or purpose you chose to read the holy scripture, that same purpose God would meet or deal with you.

Jesus was a Jew. He practiced Judaism while on this earth. Islam is alien to both Judaism and Christianity. The act/art of incorporating the prophets of judaism and christianity (both hebrew in origin) into any other religious book is the greatest religious fraud in the history of man. There is no such thing as cult doctrine in this case. It only exist in your realm of imagination. There is no secrecy as it is common among occultic society. There is no compulsion to embrace the teacching/preaching of the church, it is left for the individual to decide either to accept the message or not. Nobody has ever been coerced to remain in the church but out of their own conviction gladly accept the doctrine and lived by them. And by the way you can judge a preacher by his ways of life, hence examine the message and the messanger if there is any contradiction.

Probably you need more biblical teachings on salvation, sanctification and Holy Spirit baptism; besides, total submission to God. Pray also to experience these basics, then you would realise that His grace can sustain and empower you to abide by these doctrines.

The entire scripture should be preached without mincing words, for that will make the believer a total or complete follower of Christ. Holiness, faith, love, hope, prosperity, tribulation, tithe etc are all biblical teachings every preacher must preach or else they will be rearing children with spiritual malnutrition.

Yet, the main purpose of following christ is to inherit the kingdom of God which is only possible through HOLINESS, (without which no man shall see God). Hence there should be more emphasy on the things that will make us worthy for His kingdom.

Most today's preachers are charismatic and are mostly motivational speakers. They lacked genuine salvation of God, so they cannot really preach salvation as expected. By preaching prosperity, they entice more followers who are desirous to hear their sweet words and not the rebuke of the Spirit of God.
