Of course it will be. But you have not applied for AdSense. It will be better to already have AdSense account before you copy. Check websites like Nigerians.com and thetrentonline you'll notice that everything is copied and they have AdSense enabled. But they did not apply for AdSense with those websites. Also even after you have AdSense you will have to be careful how you copy. For example, Recentnigeriajobs.com will redirect you to jobzila.com (without AdSense) Recentnigerianjobs.com had AdSense running but they were probably banned due to God knows what chief of which I suspect is copied contents. And we all know that once you're banned, you will not be approved with the same website or home address.

Some people argue that 25% of copied posts is enough to still get approved for adsense. But experts advise that you have 0% of copied posts and let the content be 100% original.

I suggest you remove them and if you use wordpress, get a plugin called 404 Redirect. Because if those posts have been indexed on google and someone clicks on it, it will give a 404 error message but the plugin will not allow the visitor be taken there but will be redirected to the home page or any other page you choose. Error pages are not good for SEO, too much of it de-ranks a website.

Oluwaoluremi, please calm down first. Nairaland is a very large website with diverse persons from different walks of life. You may be having a lawyer look at your posts and he/she may decide to help you. But some questions are important and will be asked too.

1) How did you know that the numbers are not real and for the location you bought them for
2) Would you prefer she be prosecuted legally and if yes are you coming with clean hands?
3) Do you have any third party that can verify your claims? Because evidences can be designed. E.G you can request the bank to produce a pay in log for the account number you claimed to have paid in to.

And PS: if those phone numbers are real, then you just gave 1000 phone numbers to different kinds of people on nairaland. From real bloggers to scammers to marketers to job dupers to promoters and to people such as you who need 1000 phone numbers for God knows what.

How do you know this? Do you have an account with Google Analytics? Please let's be frank, I think the real issue here is that you are not getting enough clicks on your Google ads. If you have an average of 40 views daily, then menh I congratulate you! Many bloggers here don't even have half of that weekly not to talk of daily.

Do you have webmaster tools enabled? Do you have a sitemap submitted to Google? All these things you very much need. For example I have an average of 400 VISITS per month on my website with over 800 PAGE VIEWS. Now that's something for me to work with and increase over time. Your posts needs to encourage people to read other posts. Do you have related posts enabled on your blog whereby when someone finishes reading a post they can see other posts related to it and then move on to it.

Also, blogger is very limited compared to wordpress when it comes to plugins and widgets. Do you revive your old posts too? This enables your old posts to be reposted to your social media accounts automatically even when you sleep. It encourages more page views daily. I have enough plugins that do stuffs for me and I'm okay with it. Sometimes I am so busy that I don't write a post for 3 to 4 days yet I have pages views those days as well from my old posts.

Now I said I GREATLY PERCEIVE, I did not outrightly say you copy. Let me explain something to you. www.acegoals.com is my website and its a professional blog about career. If www.careerism. com posts 100 Top Companies on Alexa.com and I see the post, like it and decide to write something on that using the same list (which I must because it is correct) and just change my opening paragraph, Google considers it a copied content (when newly applying for AdSense) or duplicated content with lesser value.

Most of your posts are like that. I notice that the first paragraphs of each posts are probably your own words but the lists you provide or school info are not yours at all. You got the info from an online source. There is no way you would have been the first to generate lists such as 'fake universities in Nigeria' or 'Top 10 universities in Nigeria' or 'Top Approved Universities in Nigeria'. No. You must have gotten the lists from somewhere which has already been indexed by Google before yours. That's how Google knows copied content.

So until you're approved for AdSense, there are some posts that may be considered copied but innocently are not 'entirely' copied.

You can continue but here is my advice. Open another , start posting relevant and original content for 2 months and have an average of 30 - 40 posts then apply. When you get approved, you can paste your code on any website you own including http://wired2thenews..com

WordPress premium themes are easy to get these days. No big deal about it.

Well, I write my blog post on MS Word and them publish it to my blog. It is better that way for me because MS word gets to show me grammar mistakes and spelling errors. And we all agree that MS word is good and better at that than our dashboards. I do not write on paper because I will not have the time to type again. That's just too much work. I write posts of not less than 400 words and write that on paper before transfer is just too much work. I proofread as well. I do that on MS word and also on my dashboard after organising my post and optimising it for SEO. That's all.

I totally agree with jay. Let the passion get the better of you before you think of money. Google AdSense is not the only means of making money. People believe in niche authority and ORIGINAL CONTENT. I do not have AdSense running on my website yet but I have a custom ad running already after I did and published a promotional interview on my website. Just yesterday a potential client got me on whatsapp and we were already talking of doing a promotional interview or me totally creating a website for him.

Today by 5pm I have an interview with someone from Organo Gold. An e-chat on BBM about what the business is all about. This will be useful for entrepreneurs that visit my website. An NGO also requested I do something similar to that for then after the first promotional interview received over 20 Facebook likes just yesterday alone, Twitter retweets and LinkedIn share.

Saints2 I understand that you may be new. I've read a lot about AdSense and I understand that its only in 2010, 2011 that you could open a , scrape 2 to 3 stories and publish, apply for AdSense and get approved two hours later. Today, it is not so at all. It is more difficult and you need to follow the rules.

When I just knew about the blogosphere, I made the same mistakes. In fact my first website opened last year did not survive 3 months. It remained dormant until few months ago when I renewed it and placed it under the administration of someone else because I opened a new site to just write about what I like. Then I narrowed it to career, job search and entrepreneurship because I have experience there. That way my site is 100% original content and I'm gradually gaining authority in that niche that people trust my opinion and now wants promotional interviews.

Bro its a long way that can only be survived by passion and discipline. I plan to open two more websites for two different niches. My content will be affiliate and tutorial oriented respectively. But that my not be as soon as possible but with time. I may even with some serious bloggers here to get it running (when the time comes sha) HAPPY BLOGGING...

2. Buy whatever your services or products are.

Here are the steps I would take:

1. Have a great Facebook page eg. good banner,logo etc

2. Optimize the page for search

3. Identify my target audience

4. Create offers that will attract them by leveraging promoted and paid advert on facebook.

5. Build relationships with them on social media by being interesting

6. Run offers and competitions

There are lots more but if you build around this points, you are good to go.

Last point: always determine which social media platform is best for your brand. Believe me it will save you from wasting your money,time and effort

That's more like it. A very useful info from 360crest. I did not notice that because I viewed the website on a PC. That's right sureblogger, you need to make your website responsive. It is important. It encourages users to visit your blog on mobile and these days more people are on android than PC. And for the record, 360crest is the brain behind www.360crest.com a tech blog.

Apart from being the acclaimed largest, I must say that WhoGoHost servers (or whatever) are very fast! Seriously. I usually compare my website speed with that of a friend and I usually see the difference even on mobile. So even if they may not be the largest, they're pretty good to use. I have two websites with them and I hope to open more.
