crusufixo: My broda, all I can tell u is that u should just prepare your mind to hustle !!! hustle !! and hustle !!.Accomodation in a problem in Lagos, unless u have friends/family in lagos. As per getting a place of primary assignment, well with luck, favour and lots of prayers, u mit just get a good place to serve ( I believe the course u studied in school mit just play a role too). Those on CDS have exception in dat their venue of CDS wil b contacted n visited immediately. So go o o! Cuz they'l pay dis week too n it may come in a double!

Mic4lur: 4 most of us here in cross river we regrt why we were posted to cross river state. The government doesn't care abt corpers the people are not friendly and not welcoming to corpers at all. Cross river as a state do not value corpers, imagine a situation were a corper will be standing under the rain with his full nysc outfit and government cars will be passing. Talk of a corper taking a taxi, if the notice ur a corper the way the drivers talk to u u will hate ur self whn the knw u don't speak their language. Imagine cross river paying corpers 3800 or 3500 as state allowance while as most states pay 10000 and more. Talking of allowance that is a no go area for us here in cross river we commend our self into Gods hands. THe government should do something to improve the life of corpers in cross river state. oluwanoni: Of all networks, Airtel offer of BIS is Limited, Y should they even call it unlimited, imagine BIS week, n BBC week is both (100MB), it just crÀzy using Airtel, while MTN offers unlimited, My advice don't use Airtel, if u ar heavy User of data, n if not sef , just being on twitter 6hrs 30mb is Gone. Some haf disputed my Word but define d WORD unlimited 4 me and limited. Barywhyte: Well different people with different experience! I stay within UI in Ibadan. Two of Airtel service centers are just N20, N30 cab fr UI. I hav been to thr shops(nonsense). Anyway I stopped using it. Am back on MTN. I have experienced all of them now except etisalat. MTN BIS simply has no equal!

I've already concluded to buy a glo modem, unlock it n conect via airtel using the airtel bb plan of 1GB for 1,200 or is it 1,400 now?

Should i ask why are people so wicked or are you guys MTN agents to dispute NCC for awarding Airtel the best network in Nigeria? smh!
Airtel is blazing people! Same with Globacom and Starcomms. Same goes to MTN! Etisalat kinda drops network when its raining or theres a windy storm!
Seriously, even with PC, you cannot exhaust Airtel's 1GB except u're like me dat downloads youtube tutorials n ebooks n softwares n etc!
So plzzz! Airtel is good in terms of price n network strength!

Certainly! I know 2 of them! One was rejected n even reposted to a Primary school. Bt a church requested for his services. He acepted. One tin is dat d church has a school, so he'l be reposted to d school bt mainly his job wil be in d church! D oda is a lawyer, was posted to a schol bt looked for a law firm who araigned wit da schol bt wil be in d firm! Anoda was rejected bt beged d proprietres to just acept d posting n only give clearance letas at d end of d month while he goes to sumwhere else to kontinue d biz he left bhind! So these instance abide! Bt ur clearance leta must state dat u re in a school, infact a schol acepted n isued u a clearance leta!

And thankGod for this thread at a time like dis cuz i even went to MTN ofice here, yestaday, in Sapele, Delta State n their plans no favour me at all in terms of PRICE (recharging it monthly) n TIME (as per NCCF family house morning n night devotion tinz)! I cant stay awake ova nite to browse na n stil go PPA (bt e cheap o! #2500). Other plans cost for me! Then again, i saw starcomms plan, i rejoiced cuz me i be downloads pesin n i nid unlimited data bt continuity com cost o o! D same price again! I reseached on n saw Airtel's 1GB for 3k monthly, 24/7. So i tot of buying starcomms, browse 4 one month n do all ma downloads, anti virus, pc, software update, videos, mp3 downloads etc. Then unlock, n continue with Airtel 1GB 24/7 mobile plan 4 3k. Bt alas! Starcomms modems, wen unlocked, stil cnt be used wit oda sims, even airtel. I wept in ma heart! So plz i beg to sit n learn frm u guys n how i cn help maself n odas also!

Yea! I'm also in Delta State, in Sapele to be precise, i know just one person posted to a farm n anoda posted to FEMA. D rest, its either primary or secondary school! The State Cordinator thoroughly warned all ZIs while we were in camp n any1 who compromises wil loose his or her job instantly!

WHY?
During ma university days, i once was in a relationship wich i was seduced into bcuz d young lady wanted to use me as her school assignment or project writer! We were in d same department n i was in ma final year, 1st semester while she was a diploma studnt. Since d foundatn of d relatnship was seductn, (nt SEX bt swit words n feigned care. Even before i wooed her, as she wanted, she wud alow me hold her by d waist, touch her by her laps while we spoke) one month into d relatnship, i wanted SEX! But she startled me. . . (we were both christian members of different feloships, bt unserious christians) she refused! Nt even a kiss! Infact all those touchings n hand or waist holdings, she disalowed! Even a peck or hug was a no go area! It was after a waking up of ma senses n wat she needed n was using me for that i realised dat i've gone out of normalcy n was doing her will. So i called it off!
Now am serving n thankGod for His grace upon ma life dat am close to Him n i wish to get closer evryday.
NOW MY FEAR
Am afraid dat i may nt be able to kip to "no sex b4 marriage" wen i enta a relatnship dat'l surely lead to marriage dis time. It is called the ' national youth service corps'.. Not the 'national youth development corps'
Even with the old policy people were still not getting anything like what u guys are ranting about, except for the lucky few who had connections in high places.
This is meant to put reduce lobbying to choice states and cities, infact it we would now see a reduction in lobbying to states such as Lagos, abuja and its likes.
Please I know its not easy but let's, just serve out the one year...

Its either u lie or u're simply ignorant! Lobbying wil surely continue. . . Cuz of state govt pay. Now pple wil flood Rivers state (15k), Lagos (15k), Abuja (10k), Anambra (10k) Delta state (10k, some places though). U see, like i said am a Batch A 2012 corps member, n i know wat its like to be rjected! 99 percent faced rejection from the so called schools who even requested for the corps member bt dint have acomodatn for them! Yestaday a clasmate of mine in d university posted to Abuja said they were asked to return on wednesday nex wik for reposting since schools have rjected almost all, they might reconsider n post to other juicy sectors!

I have it in ma mind to write and get it published in a national daily. Bt am stil trying to weigh the consequences as against the good it may do. The policy should be adjusted slightly. 70% should strictly be for the policy, while 30% for other private sectors, as done initially.

Now dis policy is very very unfair to Batch A. I dnt know of oda states, but in Delta state the rate of rejection is 80% and counting... For Sapele, almost everybody was rjected. Nt up to 10 came to d secretariat for clearance n claimed aceptance either due to lack of acomodation or outright rejection. What bout Asaba? The same story lingers. Infact d news is dat the rjection was so much dat some wil have to be redeployed back to camp community, Isele ukwu (or watever its called). Am typing dis now at d general CDs meeting n d ZI just said any1 who wants to be reposted to d oil, chemical company or banks should come to do so. And its open to ONLY BATCH B & C. Such injustice!
