Same here. Tried it on etisalat. I said that person is one of the telecommunication network agents.

Basically for those who have a spouse or are engaged, they make a whole load of calls that's necessary to keep a relationship going. Now my question is: what is the cheapest plan to be on for those who must call their spouse at least twice a day? And for the MTN agents, why the hell did you guys stop the magic number call thingy? Tip for telecommunication networks for the forthcoming NCC plan, get something like the magic number promo on board. Possibly put it at N200 for a week and see subscriber influx miracles!

amblors: @OP are u serious? Call rates very high? I remember when calls used to be N50/min, when call centres use card booster or whatever twisted name the network providers called it.
I also rem making calls from call centres @ N20/min.
Well all that has changed now, with me calling from my fone @ N11/min to all networks and u say that's expensive?
Its prob going to come down more but if u ask me,
With almost all networks charging about N12/min to all networks,
Their call rates are very fair.

Imagine if you had another man/woman you could crawl into bed with after a breakup, you probably would, wouldn't you? That is you are filling the void; and a reason why it’s not your 'ex' that you want to stay in touch with, but anyone who will fill the gap that was your ex.

Reason 1: I actually have a lot of good reasons to stay in touch...
Truth: No. You have a lot of excuses, not reasons.

Reason 2: This person was really important in my life, why wouldn't we stay friends? We mean a lot to each other.
Truth: They were really important. If your ex is the one trying to be friends, it's not that they actually want you back, it’s that they are having a hard time getting over the relationship. The same for vice versa. And don't kid yourself, if you stayed friends you wouldn't have the same standards you keep as with any other friend. You are subconsciously seeing yourself as with this person still.

Reason 3: I need closure, I need to stay in touch to get over him/her.
Truth: Nope, closure isn't provided by your ex, it is provided by you, through grieving and accepting your loss.

Reason 4: I need to find out why he/she dumped me, -Or- I need to let him/her know why I dumped them.
Truth: What does it matter? You can't change your ex's way of thinking. There was something incompatible about you two and it's not going to change overnight. Hearing or giving a laundry list of reasons for being dumped or dumping them is not going to get you two back together. It will only make you become more insecure.

Reason 5: If we stay friends we may get back together again.
Truth: It could happen, but it will fail again. Without time alone to grieve, you are both bound for the same fate. You are each continuing to pick the scabs of the relationship, never letting them completely heal. You are also likely to be self destructive during this time; you are probably trying to 'fix' everything that was wrong to make your “ex” happy. This type of behavior leads to resentment. With resentment, you are incapable of loving. You are not yourself.

Reason 6: I need to return some items or retrieve some.
Truth: Like what? Your soap? These exchanges should occur within the first day or two. Anything that you 'need' after that time probably wasn't really 'needed', and is rather an excuse to see your “ex”. Any gifts you received or gave should remain with the recipient. A gift does not belong to the giver, but the receiver. This type of behavior could further damage yourself. What if they have already moved on and you run into their new mate? See what I mean?

Reason 7: We had great sex, and want to be friends with benefits now.
Truth: Again, not accepting your loss. You are probably assuming it is still exclusive, which really means you still see it as a relationship; which it is not. This behavior is likely to lead to confusion, insecurity (over pondering what they are doing when you are not together), and believe it will lead back to a relationship. Also, it prevents you from moving on. You aren't going to find your next partner while still sleeping with your ex.

Reason 8: We work at the same place, live in the same neighborhood, go to the same school, we have children, etc.
Truth: This may be, but it does not imply you need to have consistent generic communication. If you work at the same place, keep conversation brief and work related. If same school, it’s ok to say hi passing each other in the hallway. Have kids together? Keep the conversation in relation to them. Anything outside of these boundaries is an excuse to keep in contact with your ex, and again, preventing you from grieving and moving on.

Conclusion: Play out any of these in your head. How do you honestly picture them going? That's right, not well, in fact it may even make it worse. Do you really believe your ex will magically become 'the one' by staying friends with them? Will they magically get that sex drive back? Trust you around your friends? Be more open about their feelings? Spend more time with you? The answer is no, and if so, only temporarily until they become comfortable again. If it hurts when you do that, don't do it.

Mic4lur: 4 most of us here in cross river we regrt why we were posted to cross river state. The government doesn't care abt corpers the people are not friendly and not welcoming to corpers at all. Cross river as a state do not value corpers, imagine a situation were a corper will be standing under the rain with his full nysc outfit and government cars will be passing. Talk of a corper taking a taxi, if the notice ur a corper the way the drivers talk to u u will hate ur self whn the knw u don't speak their language. Imagine cross river paying corpers 3800 or 3500 as state allowance while as most states pay 10000 and more. Talking of allowance that is a no go area for us here in cross river we commend our self into Gods hands. THe government should do something to improve the life of corpers in cross river state. Barywhyte: Well different people with different experience! I stay within UI in Ibadan. Two of Airtel service centers are just N20, N30 cab fr UI. I hav been to thr shops(nonsense). Anyway I stopped using it. Am back on MTN. I have experienced all of them now except etisalat. MTN BIS simply has no equal!

Airtel is blazing people! Same with Globacom and Starcomms. Same goes to MTN! Etisalat kinda drops network when its raining or theres a windy storm!
Seriously, even with PC, you cannot exhaust Airtel's 1GB except u're like me dat downloads youtube tutorials n ebooks n softwares n etc!
So plzzz! Airtel is good in terms of price n network strength!

Certainly! I know 2 of them! One was rejected n even reposted to a Primary school. Bt a church requested for his services. He acepted. One tin is dat d church has a school, so he'l be reposted to d school bt mainly his job wil be in d church! D oda is a lawyer, was posted to a schol bt looked for a law firm who araigned wit da schol bt wil be in d firm! Anoda was rejected bt beged d proprietres to just acept d posting n only give clearance letas at d end of d month while he goes to sumwhere else to kontinue d biz he left bhind! So these instance abide! Bt ur clearance leta must state dat u re in a school, infact a schol acepted n isued u a clearance leta!

Then again, i saw starcomms plan, i rejoiced cuz me i be downloads pesin n i nid unlimited data bt continuity com cost o o! D same price again! I reseached on n saw Airtel's 1GB for 3k monthly, 24/7. So i tot of buying starcomms, browse 4 one month n do all ma downloads, anti virus, pc, software update, videos, mp3 downloads etc. Then unlock, n continue with Airtel 1GB 24/7 mobile plan 4 3k. Bt alas! Starcomms modems, wen unlocked, stil cnt be used wit oda sims, even airtel. I wept in ma heart! So plz i beg to sit n learn frm u guys n how i cn help maself n odas also!
