I don't know if I should be angry or not. But I am angry nevertheless! Angry at the way some Nigerians behave and regard people and events; angry at the excessive pride some people nurture when THEY ARE NOTHING! Even when they manage to be what they are, the pump that pushes their ego leaves much to be desired when corporate (or godly) character comes into question. I'm not particularly happy with some governors who send representatives to NYSC opening ceremonies on camp and they can't honour the event themselves! Are they busy or what?! Was the date fixed to clash or can't you just reschedule? Youths leave their homes to serve the country and happen to find their bearing in the state you govern and yet you don't consider it a whale of an event for you to honour? SMH! However what bleeds the lips of my pen tonight is the absence of Mike Adenuga at the Glo CAF Awards 2013 that is about to end in few minutes. For an event as prestigeous as it concerns the CONTINENT AFRICA, I expected him to appear in person and make the opening speech but alas, the Head of Corporate Sales shows up, mumbles some rehearsed (more like recited) words and retires to his seat. WHY couldn't Mike Adenuga attend or even make a speech at the event sponsored by GLO. WHY!? I am disappointed. Immensely disappointed! I believe that the value you place on a particular thing determines the limit at which you regard it. Same applies to the work of God! It seems the event holds little value for him or he is too big or busy to attend such events. Except if he is ill, on a trip outside the country or dealing with issues pertaining to family. Mr. (or Chief) Adenuga should have been at the event. #MyTakeThough |
@farano:I guess you wanted to say excite. Besides if you don't 'know' your partner before the wedding night, honeymoon will be an exciting adventure... |
I thought he said 5 steps? |
Guess who? |
Meanwhile, we have Tonto, Funke Akindele, Florence Ita-Giwa, at the Calabar Festival

This is one of the best thread in this month |
maxdozie: U did well bro for this post bt i gat few qus 4uMy brother, I've been in the same shoe (but yours is tighter than mine). To determine at this point whether she loves you or not depends on the foundation of your relationship. Is Christ the foundation? Also, do you give her money monthly or whenever she asks and you have you give her anything? Now here are my answers...(speaking from a very recent experience. I'm no expert.) 1) If your answer to both above are yes, then she once loved you at the inception but has lost interest and is trying to pretend through because of the monetary gains. 2) If 'no' to both above then she does not love you! |
sandijey: :DSo sweetPlease be realistic. Can you do just two? Must it be about you you and you alone? |
Vic-jay:One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is word of wisdom and word of knowledge is another. As many that are led by the spirit of God are sons of God. Your words don't just profess sonship in God, they are true words of a true son of God. You're no longer a child. |
ednut1: d saint lookin or behaving gal is usually a serial manipulative cheatMy brother! I believe these words ain't from a mortal. Mortally beclouds intimate and intricate auspices of the mind. These are words from a wounded heart. Words of wisdom. |
Ruq: What happened to being treated as equal ?No. That was 10 years ago. I think the OP is in the new age just as we are. They clamour daily for gender equality but refuse to have a taste of their own medicine. |
nbright: Not every lady wants that o. The feminist can protect themselves. No, you are not kidding. You're right. |
190:Same here. |
Logan's shadow:A lopsided one. |
Lol. O confirmed it from J o b b e r man. On their site, it a marketing job |
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Edo State, has condemned the inhuman treatment meted out on a widow by the State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole. The video which has gone viral captured the erstwhile The PDP in rescue of the widow has asked the widow to come to their office and get the sum of N250,000 to help cushion the effects her siezed goods will have on her. This was contained in a press release obtained by Elombah.com and signed by the state chairman, Dan Orbih. PRESS RELEASE "Edo PDP watched with consternation Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s brutal, inhuman and merciless treatment of a widow street-trader whose wares he ordered seized and who he unfeelingly told to ‘…go and die’ even as she knelt down in fervent protestations and appeals to his pity on a helpless widow.SOURCE: http://elombah.com/index.php/reports/breaking-news/19238-pdp-rescues-widow-whom-gov-oshiomhole-told-to-go-and-die |
I don't really know. Are you going for the interview? |
I just received this message: You have been invited for the ARM Life interview 24/11/2013 from 9am to 4pm.1, Mekunwen Road, off Oyinkan Abayomi Drive Ikoyi Lagos. Pls bring your paasport/CV. I received an email from Jobberman on the 14th this month that my details on their site matches candidates ARM has shortlisted for their online instant 20 minutes employability test. I took the test immediately ( 20 questions). Two days ago, I received a congratulatory message that I passed the test and they requested some details from me which I gave. And just now I received the message as sent above. Please did anyone also take the test? If you passed, were you required to supply some details like your school, grade, course, etc? Did you receive the message for tomorrow's interview? And please if you happen to work there, how is the work environment like? What is their staff welfare like? Pay package? Please I need answers. Thanks. |
Please in which state. Any state? What of Abia |
Okay. I guess this is a rather modified method of making sure embarrassments don't come up in that day. But what of those that are not members of the church? |
I just got thinking this afternoon and decided to know if truly what I was thinking is a reality. We sure know that there is a time during the wedding ceremony when the Minister/Pastor helping the couples read the vows would ask the congregation a question before joining the couple. THE QUESTION: "Does anyone in this place today have anything against any of this couple-to-be? Please let him or her speak up or forever remain silent". MY QUESTION: Has this happened in any wedding ceremony you attended or on your own wedding day? Has anyone actually stood up to say something? If yes, how was the issue settled and what was the general reaction of the couple, Pastor, congregation or even the accuser? What was the accusation and did it end the wedding outrightly? But realistically, is this question still asked these days at weddings? Please share your testimonies and experiences. |
I even know of a case between two young youths. They got engaged (Not officially though) but the wedding preparations and/or official introduction is to commence in 1 year six months time or two years time at most. They are Christians, born again and filled with the spirit. At one time the sister visited the brother and his family and stayed with them for some time. That's when the brother discovered that he could not fully control himself being alone with the lady. The guy was always the problem. he would fight with the scriptures and prayers but still find himself weak in the sister's presence (THEY DID NOT HAVE SEX. According to him, he romanced and cuddled her). He confessed to his fiancee how weak he finds himself in her presence. Now I came to understand that your bolded statement is true of the brothers (But not all sha) and could cause a problem between two dating Christians who truly love each other. Well, today, they are not together. The lady decided to stay apart from the said brother (Possibly foreseeing something) for some time. She decided to be friends with him for the now. Yes! She deserves to wear the white dress. But that does not mean ladies WHO ARE NOT VIRGINS do not deserve to wear the white dress. In my opinion, ladies who have not defiled and did not defile themselves with their to-be husbands or any other man during courtship or dating, deserves to wear the white dress. This is because some may have met Christ after they defiled themselves (Which means they are no virgins but now made pure) while some may have been Molested! TITUS 1:15 Unto the pure, all things are pure; but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is NOTHING pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. Now to the romance and cuddling and kissing part. Most times, Christian couples to be engaged in this but do not have sex. Can these be considered be pure and eligible to guiltlessly wear the white gown? I was in a conference at Nassarawa during the NCCF national confab in 2012 and the lady speaking on the Christian dating and finding a life partner was asked whether kissing during courtship is a sin and she said 'NO' if one can control himself/herself not to lead to sex. She received a "booooooooo" from the crowd who were apparently not satisfied with the answer. That could only show that she engaged in such during her time (She's married). So as Christians, where do we actually draw a line when it comes to these things EXCEPT having sex: Can this praised couple as pictured above confidently say they did not kiss or romance or sexually cuddle(BUT DID NOT HAVE SEX) before this wedding day? |
Rude shock awaits Nigerians tomorrow Ethiopia coach Sewnet Bishaw has vowed his men will give whatever it takes to overturn a first-leg defeat when they take on Nigeria in their World Cup play-off on Saturday. Ethiopia hope to continue their surprising World Cup journey when they face Nigeria in the return leg, despite a 2-1 loss at home in mid-October. Bishaw said: “This is the biggest match of my life. I want to win it. I’ll fight to the maximum. Sewnet Bishaw, Ethiopia Coach “There’s no problem in my squad. All of my players are fit and the mood in the camp is very high. Everybody is waiting for the kick-off whistle.”, the coach told BBC. Nigeria won the first leg in Addis Ababa courtesy of a brace from Emanuel Emenike and the Super Eagles are clear favourites to book a place at next year’s tournament in Brazil, which would be their fifth appearance at a finals. However, Bishaw is confident his side can come back. “I’m 100% confident of overturning the result. I’ll only play for a win. Football involves a defeat and a win. We’re defeated in the first leg doesn’t mean we’ll be defeated in the second leg,” he said. “I’ve not finished the match. I’ve 90 minutes left to play. I’ll fight for a 2-0 win or for a 2-1 to take it in to extra-time. So, I want to remind them that it’s not over yet.” Bishaw revealed he will leave it until the last moment possible to select his side in the quest to take the east Africans to their first finals. The big boost for Bishaw is the return of his joint top scorer, Getaneh Kebede. The striker missed the first leg of the play-offs because of an ankle injury. “The return of Getaneh is really great news. I’ve seen him in training. He’s fit and will definitely have a role in the battle” Bishaw said. www.vanguardngr.com/2013/11/rude-shock-awaits-nigerians-tomorrow/ |

Okay. I have thought Recharge Card Business. But I will have to get someone to man it for me; I'm still working. I've also thought of Bulk SMS Service provision |
I am a recent graduate who has worked for almost a year now. At least, I've saved up to 50 thousand naira and I want to invest right away. I believe that wealth is not made by stocking up cash for the benefit of the bank but inject cash into profitable ventures that emit same (and possibly double) at the appropriate time. I've thought of some business I could venture into. But i still need advice from some experienced fellows here. Thanks |
PLEASE I BEG YOU ALL TO JUST UNDERSTAND! NCCF is a well structured organisation. I served as the Papa for Sapele, Delta State. It was awesome! Having to travel to the state capital every month for a formal business meeting of all Zonal executives is truly an experience. Managing funds prudently, playing fatherly roles to older house members (I was second to the youngest in the house and the youngest amongst the Executive in the Zone) was by the help of the Holy Spirit. I never stopped praying for them every night. We had a sub-zone that later matured into a zone. And the Zonal Rural Rugged? IT WAS AWESOME! The deaf received the power to hear again! Miracles all through. I greet all RCCF, NACC, WCF (Winners Corpers Fellowship), ACF corpers and ex-corpers here! I made sure I walked and maintained a good relationship with all of them and the glory of God was present with all. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. |
