Greatfes17:It is his website! You've nailed it bro. Its a custom google search he has integrated as a website and if anyone searches via that, more money to his AdSense account. G3wap, you've been trying tooth and nail to make money online. Why don't you cool down, focus and hit at one thing at a time. With patience you'll hit gold one day. |
ITbomb:Lol! you can deliberately open if you're on Opera mini on mobile (like me). Please do not dare open if on PC. Thank God I no see am when I dey office. Which kind tin be DAT? From less than 200 to 50k. na Harry Porter film? |

ayodeleolu2014:Hello friend. Log on to www.acegoals.com and like the Facebook page to keep abreast of IT placements and other jobs and career insights until you're ready. |
Niyonice:Visiting your website on PC is so annoying! pop ups here and there. you're using all sorts of ad programs and it disrupts smooth navigation and reading. I advise you deactivate ALL other ad programs. If your content is genuine, within a week you'll receive a message of approval or disapproval from Google. |

blizard44:Oboy that means you get security to tight ju be that o! And it was not a small thing. The first and second phone pain me o! Just 3 days. I mean 3 days for my first android. The second one. hmmm I even reached home and returned to the scene of the crime because it all happened like magic. |
First of all I'll like to thank God for sparing my phone from being stolen at Oshodi in Lagos last night on my way back from work. I've had two android phones stolen from me at two different times within a year. First I won a ZTE Racer ll from Gbenga Adeyinka on yookoos.com sometime last year (July or so) and after using the phone for just 3 days (collected on a Friday and on Monday...) at Iyanaworo bridge about to rush into a car going to Lekki (my work place) the phone was removed from my bag and I never recovered it despite the Avast Anti-Theft app I installed. Since I just started work in March, I had to still save enough for some months to get a new phone (I was an Intern then). I got the new Tecno L3 and rocked it for some time till the 1st day of January 2014 on my way back from church (cross over night service). I was blocked at one of the dark places around 2.am and my phone was collected again (chai e big like say make I been just quench wen I reach house) I had to wait again for January salary before I bought my current phone middle of February, an Infinix Race Bolt Q. And just last night at Oshodi after alighting from the staff bus with 3 of my colleagues I was almost ripped off my phone. We walked up the pedestrian bridge and were stepping down at the other side to get a bus to Gbagada/New Garage when my lady colleague noticed a guy walking so close to me and trying to unzip my bag to reach out for my phone(which I always put in my bag once I get into any crowded area). She shouted at the rogue (who didn't know we were together as colleagues) and pulled me aside/away from the rogue (she was a little behind me and chatting with another female colleague). That's how my phone remained safe o! Thanks to God and to her. So today I will list/share tips for preventing phone theft in very crowded areas like Oshodi 1) If possible, do not walk alone (I'm not a Liverpool fan o!). Walk with friends or colleagues. These guys (pick pockets) do not approach people in a group. 2) If you must put your phone in your bag, do not back your bag (that's the mistake I made) as a primary pupil would do. Instead hold it with your hand until the coast is clear (as a friend advised) 3) If you're not with a bag, put your phone in your deep pocket and make sure you pocket your hand on the phone and walk as a big boy as if nothing dey. 4) Be careful of people who walk too close to you in such crowdy areas. Always be alert! These people are swift o! 5) And when you are in a bus or cab sitting close to the window in traffic, do not fiddle with your phone except you want to unwillingly donate your gadget to men of the caves who’ll just snatch your phone and on their heels they zoom (Happens around Dolphin/Osborne area. Oboy, it seems I've talked too much. Those experiences really taught me something. Anyway, do you know of other tips? You know as webmasters we have valuable info on our phones and most times they're not backed up on a PC. So what methods do you use in protecting your phone(s) in crowded areas? The comment box is starring at you; use it please ![]() selahcom.com first lodged this post |
dayoungmoney1:WHOGOHOST gives you free domain once you register your hosting with them. Free domain plus hosting is just N2,500 for one full year. If you pay with naira master card you are charged N300 or so. But with bank deposit, no charges at all. I host three websites with them. I own two and one is for a client. Last month, they were rated the best web hosting company in Nigeria. Their servers are not in Nigeria and over 7,000 websites run on them yet there is no down time at all. Visit them today and CHECK THEM OUT |
gboru:My guy I dey o! I'm setting up a framework and very soon I shall come up with the idea I have. |

CreativeWeb:But what is it with the 'Let's Talk'? Do you know that you can do a short post like 'Advantages of of Having a Premium WordPress Domain' or Why you need a .com website over a ..com website then towards the end of the post you advertise your services and give an email address or something to contact you. They will believe more in your services and patronise you. Tell us why we need you. Create a need or make us see one and since you say your services are affordable, we will have no option than to turn to you. |
CreativeWeb:You of all people CreativeWeb? I thought you were one of the persons here to reckon with. How can you create a thread with that thing above 'Let's talk'? Only that. Yet we encourage people to make this section interactive and help people who have one issue or the other. Ain't you bothered? That for 2 - 3 months in a row barely can you find a topic from the Webmaster Section on homepage? That is because we all look like jokers here trying to spam every day and all we do is drive traffic to our website (which is not totally bad) but provide solutions first. Sincerely I am disappointed! Now to all who want premium themes. I can categorically tell you that you can get the premium themes for free without buying. OK. Lemme give a quick tutorial to make this thread useful... You want premium themes right? Yea... we all do. After all they look all nice and cool. This is what to do. 1) Know the name of the theme you want. In case you come across a wordpress website and you love the design and theme, simple take the url address of the theme and go to www.wpthemedetector.com or any other wordpress theme detect website (search on google) and place it in the space provided. Click enter and it will bring out all the info concerning the theme i.e the theme name and all the plugins (at least 80%) used on that website 2) Once you know the theme, copy the name and go to www.themelock.com and paste the theme name in the search box. Click search and if you are lucky, the theme will be available, if not, then look for another because they have excellent themes there I have two websites of my own and designed one for someone. You can check them out... www.acegoals.com www.selahcom.com (those two are mine and they are running premium themes) www.footballinfoonline.com (I designed for a client) To get the full tutorial on getting the premium themes for free (Basically what is up there is the tactic I use for myself and clients) you can CHECK HERE Good luck and please let us contribute meaningfully to this section and as Seun will always say... 'promote your content (posts) not your container (website). If you have good content, people will visit your website (container) to get them (content) |
