A Nigerian cleric identified as Bishop Sam Zuga of the House of Joy Ministry in Benue state, is currently being bashed and heavily criticized online by some internet users after making a controversial statement on Facebook. The pastor said Muslims are better than Christians as he gave his reasons.

This did not go down well with some Christians who feel that a pastor/bishop is not meant to make such controversial statement most especially publicly due to his status.

Quran have one version, you can only translate to another language , Bible has more than ten versions in English . Muslims pray 5 times in a day, some Christians pray once a week only in church, some don't even pray at all. Real Muslims read and know Bible more than many Christians but many Christian don't even have Bible. Muslims can pray in any mosque they see, Christians can't even step in some churches.

The moment you are a Muslim, you can be accepted and shown love where Muslims are, Christians will ask you from which church? If you don't mention the name of his or her church, you are on your own. I have been accepted to offer free medical treatment exercise in many mosques and preached in many, many Muslims do attend my church programmes all over the world, some even come to our church headquarters in Gboko, Christians can't do that to a Muslim. The moment you mention God, a Muslim will believe you and give you attention, he will go ahead and introduce you to other Muslims and whatever he says about you they will believe him.

When you mention God to a Christian, you become a suspect, they will call council of elders to interview you to know the type of God you are talking about, whether is a Catholic Church God, Anglican, Living Faith or Deeper life. Muslims have factions like Christians, but if you don't go deep into them, you will not know, but Christians condemned each other publicly. You can't hear about fake imams so rampant as you hear about fake pastors. When Muslims are fasting, the whole world will know, irrespective of the factions, it used to affect so many things, there is nothing in common among Christians all over the world, even in a small village.

When a miracle is done in the name of Jesus, Muslims believe is God, some Christians will say is by the power of devil. I was going to Keffi in Nassarawa state as a Christian preacher, Muslims sat under the sun from 10 am till I arrived by 5pm, nobody left even to go and urinate, because if you do, someone will occupy your space. I turned the city of Minna Niger state upside down, Muslims were at the forefront to welcome me. Chief Imam came to trade fair complex to welcome me, CAN chairman and his cabinet were not at the venue. Muslims knee down to worship, in many churches kneeling down is embarrassment.

Muslims respect Christian clergy men, but Christians don't even respect their pastors. Muslims obey their leaders, whatever the Imam says, it is obeyed but Christians do argue with their pastors and even engage in fights sometimes. You cannot see Muslims Imams arguing Quran publicly like Christian pastors do argue Bible.

Whatever Muslims want to do, they will stand united and accomplish it, Christians are not united.The first and the last one hundred thousand naira I received in my life as a gift was given to me by a Muslim, since I started the free medical treatment mission. There is no Muslim that does not believe in Jesus Christ.I do pray for Muslims in Jesus name without any fight.

Below is the reaction of Daddy Freeze to the death of a Pastor who died in a Church eight months after he survived an attack by Badoo cult group in Ikorodu.

One thing I've noticed is that Freeze loves to use any slight opportunity to attack Christianity itself, while his gullible and deceived followers think it is pastors he's attacking. Attacking Christianity is the same a attacking God.

In his post, he claims the man's death in Church shows that the Church lacks the power of God, cos they would have resurrected him if it did. He even went ahead to mention the case of Paul raising a man who died while he was teaching. What Freeze lacks is the understanding of the will of God concerning situations.

First, anyone can die anywhere even in a Church which is one of the best places to die. We've seen instances where tonnes of people died during Church service. Examples are Boko Haram bombing of Churches in Nigeria and also ISIS bombing Churches in Egypt at almost every Christian festive period.Can we now say that the Christians in those Churches lack the power of God to stop such attacks? No. They have it but God in some way allowed such to happen. Jesus Christ himself spoke of such things to come. If they do not happen, then the words of Jesus written in the Bible will be said to be false.

John 16:2
They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.

That was Jesus speaking of the persecutions Christians are facing today as many of them die right inside the Church. This doesn't mean God's power of resurrection doesn't exist in those places. Such deaths only happen for a reason.

If you read the news of the pastor who died in Church, you will most likely see that he died a peaceful death. Reports have it that he was very active in service that day as he prepared the Church before other members arrived and prayed fervently. He died in the house of his God. Shouldn't that be one of the best places to die? That is similar to martyrdom cos those who died as a result of Islamist bombing Churches in Egypt are labelled martyrs. They died in a place they believed in. That doesn't mean those places lack God's power of resurrection. Certain things are just meant to happen.

If people like Freeze were alive at the time of Jesus Christ, they will probably be among those taunting Jesus while he was on the cross, saying ''he saved others yet he cannot save himself''. If Jesus Christ wanted to escape that death, he would have. But he allowed himself to be led to the slaughter cos it was for a purpose.

Notice how Freeze used the case of Paul resurrecting the man that died while he was preaching. If Freeze was alive during the time of Apostle Paul, he would have mocked him for allowing himself to be killed and for not resurrecting even when he resurrected someone else. Freeze didn't put into consideration the likelihood that the pastor could have died cos God wanted him to come and rest with HIM.Perhaps, that's why the man died peacefully in the house of his God. Perhaps, God made him survive Badoo Cult cos He didn't want him to die a brutal death.

For all those who have been deceived by the lies of Freeze, pls retrace your steps cos he sells you half truth mixed with a load of lies. He takes advantage of your lack of analytical skills and Biblical knowledge and uses it to lure you away from God and into a position that sees you attacking God without knowing.

An intending bride has reportedly called of her wedding after she was allegedly humiliated and assaulted by her man in public. According to an online report, the lady was left embarrassed after her fiance poured water on her face and clothes in an eatery because he was angry.

Now, report has it that the lady has called off the wedding which is supposed to hold next month and is strongly standing by her decision.

She called off her wedding just few days to the date. She felt humiliated and assaulted. A man she thought she was going to spend the rest of her life with had the effrontery to pour water on her face and clothes because he was angry.

She knew he had a bit of anger problems . But it never occurred to her he could unleash the anger to her publicly. This happened in an eatery while they were having a meeting.

The introduction have been done few months back and invitation cards shared to family, friends ,colleagues and church members.

The wedding comes up ,first week of March. Besides, lot of money have been spent in preparation for the occasion.

Last week, dude invited the babe to meet him in one of the eateries so they could sort out some issues. She came as agreed not knowing that the meeting would be the last between both of them.

Somehow, their were argument between them and dude out of anger poured the water he was drinking on her . She stood speechless, dazed and confused. Somehow, she managed to pull herself together and walked out of the spot with her wet clothes.

She got home broken but made up her mind to discontinue with the marriage. Of course, she didn't waste time to let her mom and sisters know about the strange development. And her decision was to call off the wedding.

Sadly, her mom was not completely in support of her decision but with the backing of her siblings, they were able to convince her . The whole family are backing her. To them ,the marriage is over.

However, dude and family would not take any of that. They have been begging and sending emissaries to her and her family.

The pastor of her church is not left out . He has invited her but she is still holding her ground. No marriage. She is a bit lucky, because she and her family are together in this decision.

Ada Onyejike-Ananaba was arraigned at Court 9 Ikeja, on Monday over alleged abuse of her 10-year-old housemaid.

AHEAD of the 2019 governorship election in Rivers State, the Minister of Transportation and the leader of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has insisted that he will not support the governorship ambition of the lawmaker representing Rivers South-East, Senator Magnus Abe.

The minister spoke on Saturday during a meeting with the Ikwerre Chiefs and Elders’ Forum.

“There is no fight in the APC. I am not in any way stopping Abe from running for the governorship (position), but what I know is that I will not support him. Abe is daring me; an Ikwerre son. He is abusing me every day. I will ensure I use Ikwerre vote on him,” he said.

He added that his Ikwerre ethnic group had 1.1 million votes out of the 2.5 million eligible voters in the state.

Amaechi maintained that the position of the governor in the state was rotational among the various ethnic groups, saying that it would amount to greed should Ikwerre hold on to power for more than 12 years.

The former governor said he would support a person from the riverine area to occupy the position of the governor for eight years before power would move to Ogoni.

“At the moment, we have not chosen a candidate. Only God will decide who will become the next governor,” Amaechi stressed.

The Chairman of IACEF, Chief Sunny Dikeh, promised to support Amaechi to ensure that the APC regained power in the state.

Dikeh, who called on Amaechi to forgive those who betrayed him, said, “We are aware sir that some Ikwerre sons and daughters have betrayed you after assisting them to attain heights that ordinarily they would not have attained. We are here to say sorry and also apologise on their behalf.”

Meanwhile, Abe has said the people of the state reserve the right to determine who their leaders will be, stressing that the state must come first.

Abe spoke on Saturday during a victory thanksgiving/reception by the federal and state lawmakers elected on the platform of the APC in Rivers State.

The APC legislators include Abe, as well as the members representing Eleme/Tai/Oyigbo, Khana/Gokana and Emohua/Ikwerre federal constituencies in the House of Representatives, Barry Mpigi, Maurice Pronen and Chidi Wihioka, respectively.

Others are the members representing Eleme, Khana II and Tai constituencies in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Josiah Olu; Friday Nkeeh and Mathew Dike, respectively.

The senator said, “Now is the time to put the interest of the state ahead of anything else. We must work together so that the people can benefit from the politics we play.”

Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, says he could have been killed during the fight to install President Muhammadu Buhari.

Amaechi, who was director-general of the campaign team of Buhari, de-marketed former President Goodluck Jonathan, who was a threat to the emergence of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attacked Jonathan in public and private and as the election drew near, there were reports that he would be one of the targets if the APC lost the election.

He was also involved in different rows with security agencies, particularly the police under Joseph Mbu, a former commissioner of police in Rivers.

Speaking on Saturday during the inauguration of a pro-APC non-govermental organisation, Free Rivers Development Initiative (FRDI) in Bori, Khana local government area of Rivers, Amaechi said the “machinery of power” which killed Ken Saro Wiwa was still in force as of the time Buhari sought the highest office in the land.

He said Saro Wiwa fought for the liberation of Ogoni people, south-south and the Niger Delta because he believed they were oppressed.

“Saro-Wiwa was killed by the then machinery of power because of his belief that Ogonis and the Niger Delta should be liberated,” he said.

“I could have been killed by same machinery of power when we were fighting to install President Muhammadu Buhari because we fought the same power that killed Saro-Wiwa.”

According to Amaechi, some Ogoni sons and daughters find it difficult to identify with the late environmentalist but he identified with him.

“Everybody is now claiming to love Ogoni and knew Ken Saro-Wiwa because of election,” he said.

“If you love Ogoni, bring projects to Ogoni, train their children because as governor, I trained Ogoni children overseas.

“I made sure that government paid all the fees because education was one of the issues that Saro-Wiwa died for.”

Amaechi said when he was governor of Rivers, he planned to turn Bori, a community in Ogoniland, into a big city, and that was why he constructed all the internal roads in the city.

“When I became governor, there was no light in Bori and we brought light from Port Harcourt to the city,” he said.

“It was because of poverty I experienced that made me to build primary schools, primary health centres and employed teachers and doctors respectively.

“Today, the current government has reversed everything we did including free education and free healthcare care policies.”

A fresh crisis is looming in the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2019 elections.
The threat to party peace stems from alleged plan by some powerful forces to hand over the PDP presidential ticket to Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State.
Tambuwal is currently in the All Progressives Congress (APC) but he is being wooed by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and some other PDP governors to return to the party he dumped ahead of the 2015 elections.

Also pushing for the Sokoto governor’s candidature is a prominent traditional ruler in the North, party sources told The Nation yesterday.
Simultaneously, the Coalition for Nigeria Movement (CNM) appears to be narrowing its choice of presidential candidate in next year’s election to one of the three ex-governors it is currently wooing as a possible replacement for President Muhammadu Buhari.
Ex-governors Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), and Ibrahim Shekarau (Kano) like Buhari, are all from the North-West geo-political zone.
The Nation gathered authoritatively that their names feature prominently in ongoing consultations by CNM bigwigs.
But there is a condition: any of them seeking the Olusegun Obasanjo-inspired coalition’s support must first identify with it publicly.
Wike, fresh from installing Prince Uche Secondus as party chairman despite vehement opposition from the likes of former Military President Ibrahim Babangida and ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, is said to have drawn the ire of Jonathan and many of his supporters for promoting Tambuwal’s presidential ambition in PDP.

Party sources said the anti-Tambuwal elements are uncomfortable with him in view of the role he played in the loss of power by the PDP in 2015, especially the defeat of Jonathan.
The Jonathan associates and some PDP governors have vowed to stop Tambuwal’s bid to secure the PDP presidential ticket.
Tambuwal was Speaker of the House of Representatives under Jonathan and his defection from the PDP to the then newly formed APC laid the foundation for the defeat of the PDP in the 2015 polls.
Party sources also said he might return to the party on the basis of an alleged unwritten agreement between him and Wike.
He is the only APC governor that has not yet identified with the 2019 re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.
A source conversant with the ongoing intrigues said:  “Jonathan’s associates and some PDP governors are not comfortable with Tambuwal for betraying the party to pave the way for the victory of APC and President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015
“They believe that, as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, he  was used by the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN ) to destabilize the PDP, giving the ACN control of the House from  2011 to 2015
“They accused Tambuwal of working for ACN and later joining APC to fight Jonathan. Jonathan’s kinsmen and his associates have not forgotten the role he played in bringing down their man. To that extent, the ex-president’s camp sees Tambuwal as a hard sell in the South-South, particularly in Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers states.
“Some PDP governors and leaders believe he will also be difficult to sell in the South-West because of the role he played in the defeat of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila in the Speakership race in 2015. Whereas the South-West supported him to become the Speaker by defeating Hon. Mulikat Adeola from Oyo State in 2015, he was implicated in working against Gbajabiamila, who was the zone’s choice for Speaker in 2015.
“Some PDP governors also believe that Tambuwal will be no match for Buhari in the north since his major political platform belongs to ex-Governor Aliyu Wammako who APC and strategists of Buhari are lobbying to remain in the ruling party.
“Wammakko, politically known as ‘Alu’, may prefer to return to the Senate on the ticket of APC as long as he can be allowed to single-handedly pick a successor to Tambuwal to consolidate his political base.”
But a PDP source said: “With Wike’s backing, Tambuwal may get the ticket. I think those making a strong case for Tambuwal have gone far on this project to be underrated.
“If Jonathan and his associates can be cut to size during the National Convention of PDP, Wike and others can have their way on Tambuwal.
“The aftermath in PDP might affect the chances of the party in 2019 because those in favour of the former Interim National Chairman of the party, Sen. Ahmed Makarfi as the preferred candidate for the party’s presidential mandate may cause an upset. Adopting Tambuwal will amount to abandoning the agreement with Makarfi by PDP governors to make him the party’s presidential candidate.
“I think a member of the Interim Caretaker Committee saw this coming when he advised Makarfi to seek a firm commitment from Wike and others. Makarfi preferred to have trust in these governors.
“Whatever it is, it is just a matter of when Tambuwal, who pulled the strings behind the scene during PDP convention, will move to PDP.
“Realising the danger of APC plot against him, Tambuwal has gone on the fast lane by winning prominent Emirs to his side and reconciling with the likes of ex-Governor Attahiru Bafarawa. This was what accounted for the enlargement of his cabinet to 25 on February 5. He also pulled the rug from under  Wammako’s feet by appointing his younger brother, Ahmed Barade Wamakko  as Commissioner for Social Welfare.
“Also, the anti-Tambuwal elements in PDP and APC are not relenting. For instance, the alleged hounding of Prince Kassim Afegbua, who is the spokesman of Babangida, by security agencies might have been more about his role as a political strategist of Tambuwal than the ex-Military President.”
Notwithstanding, it was learnt that some PDP governors are considering Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo.
A third source said: “These governors say Dankwambo is young, well educated, urbane, cosmopolitan with less baggage.  He was in Asaba last week when the governors met with the Secondus-led executives. He is also very close to Governor Ayo Fayose
“Their worry is whether or not he has the stature to defeat Buhari.”
Another PDP source added: “Dankwambo is too close to Governor Nasir el-Rufai for comfort. We are suspecting that APC is propping him up as a weak candidate to make it an easy ride for Buhari. We know their game plan.”
Investigation by our correspondent on Obasanjo’s CNM revealed that contrary to claims by the former president  that he has no preferred candidate for the 2019 presidential race, the coalition  may  make strong recommendations on some candidates for Nigerians to vote for.
A source in the group however said that whatever action taken by it will be guided by utmost caution to avoid acts capable of derailing its plans to “ease out Buhari” at all cost.
“Whatever may be the pretence by ex-President Obasanjo, the ultimate target of CNM is to get a replacement for Buhari in 2019,” the source said.
“The group may recommend any of the three former governors from the North-West as being capable of replacing Buhari.
“The three leaders are Rabiu Kwankwaso, Sule Lamido, and Ibrahim Shekarau who are all from the North-West like Buhari.
“I think a major challenge of CNM is how to work to the answer in 2019 on any of these three presidential aspirants.
“This is why CNM, through Obasanjo, is opening talks with top politicians from the six geopolitical zones.”
But the group is still working on the platform it will use to actualize its plan to replace Buhari.
“The choice of platform is a challenge,” the source explained.
He added: “PDP is the strongest opposition party which Obasanjo does not want to associate with in order not to return to his vomit having torn his membership card.
“The CNM is trying to recommend a merger of PDP and other parties with a new name to be able to push its agenda for any of Kwankwaso, Lamido and Shekarau.”
The CNM believes it has made a substantial inroad into the National Assembly as one of the institutions to promote the anti-Buhari agenda.
Continuing, the source said: “The CNM has been implicated in a romance with some Senators and members of the House of Representatives which led to the reversal of INEC’s Order of Elections in 2019.
“Nigerians should expect more radical resolutions from the National Assembly which can promote the coalition’s plans against Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
Analysts however see Obasanjo’s motive as selfish and playing gambling with Nigerians.
One analyst asked: is it his birth right to choose president for us? He imposed Yar’Adua, Jonathan, now he is scheming to impose on us the next President. He must be stopped.
“On Wednesday, Obasanjo insisted that CNM would remain a socio-political movement.
“He said he would cease to be a member if the coalition becomes partisan.
“He said: ‘In the year 2015, I said I would no longer participate in partisan politics. And I still stand by my decision. Everybody, irrespective of his or her political affiliation is free to come here for advice, I will gladly do that. I have no candidate, whatsoever, for any political office.
