I just started using a 12.5kg cylinder recently though but it should last for a while.

If yours doesn't last much, maybe the gas is leaking somewhere or the vendors are probably not filling it to the brim. If you have a car, it's better you take your cylinder and fill at NIPCO than all those road side vendors.

I'm a spinster as well, and I don't cook much but when I do, it's in bulk and I refrigerate.
