Hi there! I agree with you that the role should never be reversed.
However, my parents NEVER coerced me to pay bills or do anything, it was out of my own volition, there was no pressure whatsoever from both parents. My parents are comfortable (with or without the children), I do these things just to add support and appreciate their efforts.

I'm a Student and I also work. I usually pay cable TV bills, some other bills for the general running of the house, and help my siblings out too. It helps in removing some kind of "burden" from Parents cos they're really trying.
When I started working, Omo! I knew that Parents have a lot of responsibilities, I even hailed my parents too.
Sometimes when I have enough money, I usually buy them gifts, or when I'm broke, I tell them to manage recharge cards.
Lol, I remember my Mum praying for me on phone cos of ordinary recharge card.

When I saw the news of Maxwell's death on my secondary school platform, I was pained really.

That’s quite the inconvenience. I can’t afford to always visit the bank and there is the time constraint plus COVID-19 hasn’t made anything easy. One usually has to wait outside for some time before being granted entry to the banking hall.

Yes, it was very inconvenient for me, I won't lie; exhausting and annoying to say the LEAST.
Lmao I didn't wait anything before entering the banking hall, I collected the phone number of the person in charge of my account and so it was easier for me to get in there without hassles and also I always did puppy face for the security personnels to allow me in.

I disturbed them all the time.
I was ALWAYS going to the bank.

Same thing happened to me also.
I didn't know my account was a student account and a huge amount of money entered my account, FBN froze my account for a whole month!! It took them about 1month and two weeks before it was rectified.
Gosh that period was really frustrating.
