TylerDurden: sharap zombie.
NNPC never removed subsidy. They only made accommodations for the naira's devaluation from 197 to 360.
Buhari is still paying subsidy which they are calling ''under recovery''.
And FYI, NNPC is claiming that they are supplying 50 million litres per day.
This has seen the subsidy payment well over a trillion naira annually despite the fact that Nigerians can barely afford to fill their tanks.
The level of wicked and heartless looting and corruption going on in this govt is mind-boggling.
Only NNPC now imports fuel as most marketers can not afford to import owing to Federal govt policy on refusing them access to forex.
All marketers now buy from NNPC.
The NNPC then inflates the amount it sells to marketers and from there loot double in the form of increased subsidy payments to themselves and reconciling sale of non-existing fuel. Please can you explain this thing well sir. I really want to understand. |

seniormallam: Yet the rubber stamp senators approved this nonsense, the southeast senators, are they sleeping during the passage? The south east senators are a minority. Decisions are made if a majority of the senators agree. So the southeast and south South can't do anything without the approval of the north. The same can't be said for the north they don't really need the approval of the south east or south south to get what they want they only nees a fraction of the south west. This is one of the major reason why the south east have been been crying marginalization and why they want to break away. Restructuring the system would solve this but the north no gree. But Its only a matter of time before the south east breaks away or the country is restructured. The system simply can't last the way it is currently set up. It is pure evil. |

samuelson06: I still remember my first laptop - an HP Pavilion series 6. I bought that system for over 60k and it was very clean. After using the system for a month or two, it developed sound problem. From a sound problem, it entered keyboard and then from keyboard, it crossed to screen. Finally, it graduated to the motherboard and shortly, the system died. I sold it as scrap for less than 20k.
I felt real bad. While its protracted sickness lasted, I decided to do a little Google research about it. Lo and behold, HP Pavilion series was (and is still) like a curse child. It must bring one problem or the other now and then. I must confess that I didn't do any research before buying the system because all the information about it was online. HP won't even help anyone to fix the issues. I learnt my lesson the hard way.
After my experience and since then till now, I warn people about HP Pavilion series - quite sleek but almost useless. It'll definitely die in your hands and soon too. All the stubborn people I know and warned had my similar experience and would come back to say, "I wish I listened to you." The system had slumped and died in their hands.
What am I saying in essence? Do your research before placing order for anything. For cars, Edmond holds a lot of information. Quora is also a good place to ask questions. If you don't do your research before buying, you might likely regret. There's no point feeling bad because someone is warning you about their experience with a product. They might mix their counsel with emotions because of their experience with the product in question. Learn the lesson and correct yourself in anyway possible before it's too late.
I remember in those days I'd tell people, "Throw this sh!t away or sell it off. It'll breakdown in your hand. It's a beautiful nnonsense." Truly, HP Pavilion series is a pure money waste. For cars, I don't know much about them but had to research about mine before paying for it.
One love my people God bless you. As i said they will ignore the message and attack the messenger. Valarinz is very knowledgable about Volvo cars since thats about the only brand he sells, so why would he degrade the brand. I would certainly listen to his advice on the brand. |

WILLuKPquiet: We'll I am not a lawyer.
But I know the only area this guy can sue the woman is if there was a physical assault.
A boss gives you love advances and she sacked you because of it. Without pronouncing that "I am sacking you for not having sex with me"
She could just claim she was no longer comfortable with his presence anymore in her work place. Without explaining further.
It is her work place after all. And my guy has signed that he agreed to be laid off when ever his services are no more needed when he was being employed.
What is he gonna do?
Some cases are not like you view it.
Take for instance. When signing up on Amazon, Payoneer, Googleplus, Facebook, Tweeter etc. On their agreement sheet it is stated they have the right to close your account for any reason they deem fit.
Bro if your account is closed by these companies it is close for life.
The best you can do is mail their support section and explain to them and plead. If they still refuse to release your account, it is gone for life.
You can't do a sh..t.
You can't sue them.
How many multimillionaires have got their accounts closed by these establishments.
With all their money have you heard anyone sue them for closing their accounts.
When you were signing up, you have given them the total right to close your account if they deem it fit.
All those "I agree" boxes we check when signing up are meant for things like that.
So also is whatever you sign when being appointed by a firm.
You must go through the agreement form properly. Before signing.
And as long as you don't sign the forms in many cases, you are not ready to work. Lol. You obviously are not aware you have rights. If i deposit money to a large organisation like amazon etc and they decide to close my account and cease my money for no reason but simply because they can. If i have the resources to sue them i will just go for thanksgiving the following sunday because i have been blessed. No judge anywhere in planet earth will support them if they say they did it because they can and its stated in their terms and conditions. They will be made to pay heavily for theft. As for the guy in question, his only obstacle to justice is proving his case finish. |

WILLuKPquiet: Depending on what he signed when he was being employed.
Many of us rush to sign papers when we get new appointments. Even when filling forms online. There are places where it says do you agree to the terms of so and so. And a box is there to check. We just check it and move on to the next sign up details.
Likewise if he had signed to a clause that says:
"this company has the right to terminate your appointment anytime without explaining to you why, when your services are no longer needed"
If had signed unknowingly.
Make he just go find another job. Going to court would be a waste of time and money.
Happy weekend pretty. Wrong. Sexual harassment is a crime. It has got nothing to do with the terms of his job. |

All three have solid equipment. I'm an Infiniti man, so I'd buy the FX no doubt. Has terrible fuel economy, though. That 5.0L engine is thirsty, but almost 400 HP makes it worth it. Thanks for your input. i have read a lot about the reliability of infinitis that are over 100k miles, they are not reliable at such high mileage and start breaking down. and getting a tokunbo will definitely mean getting one above that mile range. what do you think? |

Belafonte: Yet, the biological father has zero involvement in the boy’s life.
The stepdad has done more for the boy recently than the biological father. Why are you not asking for the boy to be sent to his father? We know his real father is alive. Because the father obviously does not want to have anything to do with the woman and his children so why force the boy on him when the mother is more than willing to take care of him. Also the father cannot be easily reached he is out of the country. You say the stepdad has done more for the boy, What has the step-dad done for the boy? the boy never lived with him. Are you sure you read the story? The woman's husband agreed to shelter her 2 children before he married the woman, why are you people pretending not to know about this. Besides what exactly did he think was gonna happen if he chose to marry a single mum out of all the single ladies out there, and then go a step further to agree to shelter the woman's kid. Abeg you people should call a spade a spade, the man should man up to his responsibilities and give the boy a home, its not as if he will be taking care of him anyway. |

Family › Re: No Man Should Be Encouraged To Marry A Single Mother: A Response To Vyvyanvyvy by foolbuster: 4:34pm On Mar 13, 2020 |
KingSatan: Dear Nairalanders,
This is my opinion on the subject that "No Man Should be Encouraged to marry a single mother". It is actually a response to Vyvyanvyvy 's thread on Her husband's decision not to take back their son as agreed before marriage.
Please Click this link for her post https://www.nairaland.com/5731810/husband-doesnt-want-son-come
Over the years, i have disagreed with people who conclude that single mothers marry because they are looking for a "Father Figure" in the life of their children and never because of love. Maybe i was wrong to disagree with them as this story is an eyeopener on how this set of manipulative women always resort to emotional blackmail in order to shame the man when he refuses to give in to their demand of total commitment to their love child or children. The most amazing thing is that her children have a father, but they are never going to blame him for abandoning them or quitting the relationship. They are never going to send the kids to their biological relative or even give the "New Husband" the honour of renaming the children after him. Some of these women even go as far as creating room for segregation.
Now lets get down to business by critically analysing her story.
1. This woman had 2 children (12 and Six years old) from a previous relationship. The Father of her Children is Currently in Italy and told her to move on with her life as he has done. Good Lord knows why he abandoned his own family (Since there is a 3 years gap between the 2 kids, i will assume the first was 3 years old when he left)
2. She claims not to have Her Ex husbands contact or that of his siblings. This should tell you that this woman never had a good relationship with her husband's people and the reason for that is unknown.
2. She got married to this Man 3 Years ago and the marriage has produced a girl who is 2 years old and she is pregnant for another. Good Lord knows this woman loves kids.
3. Before her marriage with the new man was consummated, she confirmed that her husband ACCEPTED THE KIDS LIKE HIS OWN. Was he pretending? I dont think so.
4. Due to financial challenges, they moved to a smaller apartment and lived together with the Girl Child while the boy was sent to live with her elder brother and his wife. All through this period, the man never maltreated the girl child or rejected her.
5. Things got better 3 years later and they moved into a bigger apartment. Life has been good to them at least.
6. Her Husband has reneged on their agreement to bring in their son into the new apartment to live with them. We don't know his reasons but maybe, she will give us a clue in the next point. Remember, the Girl child still lives in peace with him in the house, he treats her just right and they have a perfect relationship.
7. This woman confirmed that her son is now a petty thief. In a space of 3 years, He was caught stealing and beaten like an animal. Whatever he stole is none of our business.
8. She pleaded with her husband to allow the boy to come and live with them and he said NO, his reason "he doesn't want him to damage our children". "Children" includes the girl child from the previous marriage I believe.
9. This boy has been rejected by his mothers immediate relatives (Her brother and Sister) due to his strange behaviours and thieving nature.
10. She claims she foots %70 of the bills in the family. Who knows? Married men will agree that when a woman resorts to emotional blackmail, this is her usual line.
11. This woman reconfirmed that her son is more important than her marriage. Here "I will not take him anywhere why does he have to live like an orphan whyle im alive ? To be honest My son is more important than my marriage and it’s my responsibilities to protect him"
12. Have you also observed that this woman Never talked about "Loving her husband"? Another confirmation that love never existed in the beginning.
My Good Friends, from the points listed above, you will agree with me that this woman married her current husband because she wanted a father figure for her children.
Anyone noticed how she isn't talking about her daughter with the man in question?
Which man will watch a thief come into his house in broad daylight and do nothing about it?
Or you think the man has no clue about your her son's sudden change?
All i see is a man who fears for the future. It's just like asking this woman to accept her Ex-husband just because he promised that he will always love her. Time Changes and People too.
What if the husband is the one trying to bring in his love child who steals? Will the woman allow that without a second thought?
If you are a parent, you will attest to the fact that one negative influence can destroy your perfect child.
My honest advice to this woman is to go back to single parenting. She cannot continue to be married as the marriage was a sham in the first place.
I believe if her current husband is given an opportunity to tell his own side of the story, ears will tingle.
To the young man out there who is about to make this mistake of a lifetime, please read this thread and reconsider.

SATAN You guys should take it easy. The husband of the woman in question not only knew the woman had 2 kids before he married her but agreed to accomodate them too. This is depite all the choice of single ladies he had out there. Are you telling me if the man was the boy's biological father he would chase him out of his house because he stole? The man should man up and bring that boy home. That is part of the baggage he has to carry. He has made his choice. Afterall marriage is for better or for worst. |
