ochejoseph: We are determined to make this campaign about issues, while i must admit it is quite difficult for Buharis supporters and APC members to engage in a conversation without insults I still believe it is possible because we are all Nigerians who want a better country not just for ourselves but also for our children.
We have provided Buhari and APC's score card part 1 in three and half years with complete sources.
The Simple Question here is why did the country degenerate to such a pitiable level in 3.5 years of APC/ Buharis rule ?
And before you follow Akpabio to shout 16 years of PDP remember the airport APC used yesterday in Akwa Ibom and stadium are also part of the 16 "wasted" years of PDP.
May The Conversation Begin!!!!!!
In the end May Nigeria and Nigerians always win
May God Himself Continue to Bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria
Oche Joseph Otorkpa
Member PDP Presidential Campaign Council
Download a Full PDF copy of the Atiku Policy Document here : https://atiku.org Can you give us the ratings from 2013- 2015 before APC took over? That is how we can know who is better or worst. Thank you. |

Danielnino00: Ghanaians are one of the most ungrateful backbiters in the world....
I can understand why the Kenyans are trying to drag matters with us... but a country like Ghana that has been, and is still feeding from Nigeria since independence shouldn't be trying to form big bros... At least the Kenyans have enough decency to limit their blabbering to this thread but the Ghanaians don't.. a lot of them are all over nairaland searching for Ghana related posts so they can pour their flirt into it.. A country that's owing us money.. a country whose entertainment industry is dependent on us... A country where Nigeria business has significant presence in almost all sectors.. A country where it's Presidents visit Nigeria annually to ask for money... The problem is, we have played big brother in West Africa for nothing. I think it's time we are rewarded for every favour we render in West Africa/Africa. Maybe, they will value our contribution to the peace and economy of West Africa. If we close border for one month, Ghana economy will suffer. I have been to Ghana several times and I know Ghana is not as developed as Nigeria. Development is only centered around greater Accra and Kumasi. You can't even compared Kumasi with the 15 best cities in Nigeria. That is how underdeveloped that country is. However, Ghana is not as bad as Kenya. |

Its quite embarrassing you don't know when to quit! Just like you argued yourself over which skyscrapers have topped up! Childish arguments. Is Telkom land line? Does it change the fact that Nigerians own the company? Has this not put to rest, NIGERIANS can't do business in Kenya? |

You can see how South Africans steamed rolled them. Now imagine allowing duty free goods manufactured anywhere to be sold in Nigeria. They will get steam-rolled by South Africa, Egypt, Kenya and Morocco manufacturers. Kenya doesn't produce anything. Keep fooling yourself. |

TMKsouth: In future, maybe NOT naming your cities after states & states after cities would result in less confusion.
Renaming is also an option.
p.s. Diversity doesn't only apply to race, it also applies to ethnicity. Not having other races living in Lagos doesn't mean the city lacks diversity. Unless if it's only made up of Yorubas, which then is a different story. There are millions of other tribes and millions of West Africa people in Lagos. |

The same wiki is where you have 290k people visiting one location and you are bragging about 40k Chinese workers ? Lol Is Kaduna ( or Kaduna city) same as Kaduna state? Is Kano(Kano city) same as Kano state? Is Lagos (Lagos city/metro) same as Lagos state? Is Accra the same as Greater Accra? Maybe you think I am talking about Lagos island. Did I show you only Chinese population? So, you didn't see India population and Lebanese population I displayed here? My friend, you claimed there is nothing diversity in Lagos. Now that you have have seen more than 100,000 foreigners live in Lagos, EOD. |

I personally don't think this thread deserves awards anymore. It is not what it used to be, no unity, nothing.
Just a bunch of cliques chasing away people and being disgusting hypocrites.

joseph1013: THREAD AWARD 2018
We have all come a long way. We started this community in 2013 way before hackers descended on Nairaland to destroy the data. Some of us have been from the very beginning. I remember Tbaba1234 asking me then if I was Sam Audu, the football journalist. Apparently not!
We have a very knowledgeable football community here. Icon4s will bear me witness that we provide more insights here than popular Nigerian football shows on radio and television. May be we will start a football podcast or internet radio very soon.
This year has been such a roller-coaster for our football. From the memories of the loss to South Africa in the nations cup qualification, to a comprehensive qualification to the world cup, to the hope-raising performance during the world cup friendlies, to the disappointing performance at the world cup, to qualifications to the nations cup after years of absence.
I, for one, have not been as regular a commenter as in the previous years, but make no mistakes, people like us still follow happenings on our football and on this thread bumper to bumper. This particular thread has to be one of the longest on Nairaland. 5300 pages!
The impact of this thread cannot be overemphasized. We now have people in the echelon of our football paying attention to what's taking place here. Not too long ago, Icon4s spearheaded a Football Award for players in the national team. This award has been recognized outside of this platform, and it's only a matter of time before it becomes a national phenomenon.
So let's have a bit of fun to celebrate the end of the year in our own little way.
I will be listing out some categories and you are allowed to nominate the poster(s) of your choice. You can also add the categories I have omitted. This will last for 72 hours. The winners will be announced on Tuesday, 2nd January, 2018 by 7pm.
CATEGORIES 1. Most Controversial Poster 2. Most Interactive Poster 3. Most Intelligent Poster 4. Most Resourceful Poster 5. Most Respectful Poster 6. Most Consistent Poster 7. Most Positive Poster 8. Best Sense of Humor 9. Most Critical Poster 10. Nicest Poster 11. Most Influential Poster 12. Most Pro-Foreign Born Poster 13. Most Pro-Naija League Poster 14. People's Favourite 15. Most Sentimental 16. Notorious Silent Reader 17. Impressive Thread Newbie 18. Diehard Super Eagles Fan 19. Best Friends 20. Most Outstanding Poster 21. Overall Best Poster 22. Top Dramatic Topics 23. Honourable Mention: I, by the power vested on me by this thread, unanimously give this category to one of my favorites on this thread, GoldFish80. It's been a while I've seen him here, and I hope he's alright. Please let's know.
Any other categories I'm missing?
To vote, simply quote the post, and write the name of the poster(s) in front of the categories. The most notable mentions takes the award.
daveP, once again, will you do us the honors of collating the nominations and announcing the winners on?
