The ignorant person with zero knowledge about Lagos state that quoted asked me to list the institutions Fashola created and I gladly obliged and to my last I checked, I don't remember saying Tinubu did not created any agencies so what pointless and misguided point are you making or you just don't know how to read and comprehend or even follow discussions intelligently?

The fact that Tinubu created agnecies means Fashola did not create many many agencies?

I don't even get the pointless argument about agencies sef.
Sorry Sir! I asked you to list institutions created by Fashola which you gladly obliged but I am saying that few of those you listed were even established by Tinubu while the others are not as great as the ones Tinubu created.

Meaning Tinubu created better and more efficient and effective institutions than Fashola and that's all. I don't not understand what you can't comprehend from what I expressed obviously.

About knowing about Lagos, Let me get you informed that my great-grandfather is a Lagosian and his museum is there for the public to see. You can do yourself a favour if you wish to know my connection with Lagos by checking the book with family's tree line, therein shall you find the name of the so called 'the ignorant person with zero knowledge about Lagos' grin
Hahaha!

To rob salt to your injury, I can humbly say the first house bought at Ogunlana axis was bought by my grandfather and that it was he who named that Street so... grin, therein was this 'ignorant person with zero knowledge about Lagos' was born and nurtured to a full grown man.

I hope these pieces of information has cured you of your understandable ignorance Sir. Farewell. grin

This shows that you know little or nothing about Lagos state.

Tinubu to his credit created many state institutions same way Fashola created many great institutions

Lagos State Emergency Management Agency(LASEMA) is the best emergency service in Sub Saharan Africa, better than FEMA and it was created by Fashola..

Fashola created:

Lagos State Emergency Management Agency(LASEMA)

Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA)

Lagos State Parks and Garden Agency(LASPAK)

Law Enforcement Training Institute In Lagos

Lagos State Building Control Agency,LASBCA

Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority(LASPPPA)

Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA)
Before LASEMA there was LASAMBUS. who created it? Tinubu

What year was LASWA created and by who? grin

grin That was why I asked 'if he created any institution in Lagos'. Because I know they are not as great as the ones Tinubu created.

Now, who no know KAI.........?

Who no know LASTMAN?

Who no know LAWMAN?

Who no know LAMATA?

Who no know LASAMBUS?

Who no know Lagos internal Revenue Service?

You know they are more than these.

About knowing little or nothing about Lagos. grin

No comment. grin

I lived on the Island all through BAT's tenure and the BRF's first tenure(was born and raised there). An Aunt that stays on the Mainland always say that 'Na una de enjoy Tinubu pass' whenever she comes visiting but an uncle(that is very enlightened) will tel her that "Island is commercial hub and must be captured to use the money to develop others". he would jokingly say that "you cannot use the money from Ajegunle to develop Ikoyi but you can use Ikoyi money to develop Ajegunle". At last, it paid off.

That Lagos is on the move today Is no fluke, but I will forever respect Fash and Ambo for sustaining it and consolidating in it. some people would rather seek to reverse gains of predecessors just to "prove a point' as it is done in almost every States.
You are right on point once again. You know the genesis of the development of Lagos from Tinubu to Ambode.

Lagos before Tinubu was dirty, disorganised, unruly, infrastructurally deficit, etc

My mother na Lagosian, Na Lagos I take open eyes.

Fashola try but Tinubu na the Oga.

This remains the most beautiful and sophisticated bridge on the whole of West Africa and it. was built by Fashola in less than 3 years while the whole of SE and the FG still can not build ordinary 2nd NB 30 years later..

Till today, it's yet to be duplicated by any government in Nigeria...

This bridge is not only an achievement, it's a ground breaking landmark..
You are right, Sir. Fashola built bridges and planted flowers but Tinubu established institutions.

The difference is clear. Tinubu ni.

Please, I would like to know if there is any institution established by Fashola.

Thanks Sir.

On Tinubu, what some people don't know is that Fash might or would have ended up lamenting like Buhari and blaming a certain predecessor if he hadn't met something tangible to build on(Don't forget that BAT met a dying Lagos but kept his focus on the job without blaming the military or Obj's distraction/witchhunt).

Some people will tell you road contracts, but Tinubu hand is everywhere from the Lekki-Epe Express road which was conceived and initiated by BAT, to the Ikoyi-Lekki beautiful bridge that was equally conceived by BAT but OBJ refused permission until Yaradua gave Fash.

Tinubu created Central Business Districts that attracted lots of revenues for Lagos, he ensured that commercial hub were on track and they operated in healthy environment.

No wonder his Aides were fully part of the government of his successors which ensured continuity.

But again, that does not erode the sterling performance of Fash, a worthy administrator in his own right.
@bolded is how I know you know shumthing.

That was the blueprint to development in Lagos and that was why in his first tenure he concentrated on the Island. I remembered we living in the Mainland was angry with his plans but it paid off afterall.

That CBD was what Tinubu used to generate revenue.

you mean a fast game?

Oh no o. That was d first place we got t wrong last night. D fast game wore our team out quickly n we couldn't match them up again in d second half.

Long and fast balls against d germans is just playing to their strength. They are tall n always fast most especially on counter.

My problem with our local coaches is their inabilities to read game and change plans. They only stick to d game plan de planned before d match. That is why I do question their technical n tactical know-how of d game in most cases @senior level of football like this one(u-23, senior team n sometimes d u-20s).

Playing a 4-4-2 with below average mid-fielders was suicidal. I expected him to choke up d midfield with d available players.

Well, d did has been done. But d only thing that saddenes my heart is d refusal of our coaches to learn from their mistake. Immediately our guys were short of ideas in d latter part of d match n everyone was shouting Atlanta 96@ d ball house. I only asked my self this simple question "who do we call on to do d magic?" there was no one on d bench.

The team was just average. Luck, hardwork +few individual brilliancy only saw us tru dis far. Not a bad outing anyway. Hope we can clinch d bronze.
No, I don't mean fast game, I mean the way we use to control the game against fast playing teams.

Just play slowly and frustrate them.
Sports › Re: All The News About The Olympic Eagles (U-23) HERE! by forgiveness: 9:36am On Aug 18, 2016
I didn't have the opportunity to see the match but I knew we will have problems in the midfield without Azubuike Okechukwu and if the Germans decided to press us the same way the Colombians did. And just as TheGoodJoe just wrote they unsettled us by pressing and forcing us to play against our plans.

Siasia should have known that after the Colombia game. He should have made the Germans tired by passing the ball quickly and made them chase the ball. In such situations you must think about keeping possession of the ball. And once you don't have the ball all the players should have fallen behind the ball with expectation of hitting them with fast counter attacks.

I also knew they will try as much as possible to frustrate Mikel because he was the engine of the team. Once he is unsettled and marked out then forget about the strikers doing the damage.

to the colombia game i was mainly looking out for the performances of our replacements in the starting xi. sadly they didn't perform up to scratch ugo was poor defensively and didn't offer anything going forward. aminu umar with due respect to his career why does he keep getting invited to national team camps? i mean seriously huh akpeyi tried but his tendency to rush out indiscriminately and poor long ball distribution put us sometimes on the back foot. madu was surprisingly for me out of sorts however i trust his qualities to come good. popoola for me was the biggest disappointment despite all the hype surrounding his performance against brazil in that friendly. he looks another rabiu ibrahim clone to me. all flash no substance pray i'm wrong.

Iheanacho, Success and Ndidi were experienced for the Olympics. Success and Ndidi were regular for their clubs and Iheanacho was a regular for City towards the end of the season. Got his chance against Real Madrid.

That is why Icon4s rooted for their additions. He is someone I have followed his views of the game.

He has a different view from him. I rooted for Sadiq Umar's inclusion despite him not having enough experience.

Icon4s has a different view from that.

Just as I rooted for Iheanacho's addition to the Super Eagles before he got his break at City.

I just pointed out Icon4s always maintained his stance.
Remove Success from the discussion because I didn't include him.

Iheanacho was still an Academy/bench warmer while Ndidi was still a bench warmer as at 2014 when he clamoured for them.

Iheanacho and Ndidi was in the same level with Awoniyi as at 2014 na. grin

That one is up to you. There was a context in the whole post Oasis007 made. The post had a unified thought he passed. It centered around Coach Siasia.

Yes, you clarified your self and quelled my suspicion. You were not behind the coach.

Icon4s stance has not changed. He believes in tested and experienced players on the highest stages.

It is a thing of preference. Not right or wrong. Just as he was against Awo going to this competition.

If Sadiq performs well here, he would accept him on the big stage. Icon4s believes in proven experienced players. He did not say Sadiq is not good enough but is he ready for the big stage?

Sadiq Umar confirmed that he played with fear in the previous two games. That highlighted Icon4s point
.
grin

You mean Iheanacho, Ndidi, Godwin Saviour etc were tested and experienced players when both of you clamoured for their inclusion in the Olympics football team? grin

His point was that you believed in the team. The context of the message was the team, not the players.

The topic Oasis007 talked about is people believing in Coach Siasia. That was the topic of his post. He mentioned me and you.

His point was, you believed the team (Siasia's selection and called you a bigot) for supporting the team.

That was the point. Siasia. Not players. If we even talk players, I was one of those who said Sadiq Umar should lead the line if he does well on training. This is not due to Siasia.

Forgiveness was tagged a tribal Bigot because of his stance! He believes every Player should be given a fair chance, but some Dudes believe without Iheanacho, Iwobi and Co the Team is a complete right off!

What stance? Is there anyone among us who did not call for a fair chance? What Oasis007 meant was that you believed the team will do well without The Popular demands unlike others who lost faith because of the lack of these players.

You said spot on.

That assessment is not true because you were one of those who wrote off Coach Siasia and in turn, the team.
b]Forgiveness[/b] was tagged a tribal Bigot because of his stance! He believes every Player should be given a fair chance, but some Dudes believe without Iheanacho, Iwobi and Co the Team is a complete right off!

@bolded is the stance. It is as clear as 7up.

Do you still need further explanation?

Simple, unlike most of the regulars on this thread, you are one of those with the least faith in our local coaches. Whether Coach Siasia, Keshi or Amunike.

So, to make it clear, you were not behind Coach Siasia before the kick off of this tourney. Most here had more faith in Coach Siasia than you.
I am particularly the one with no faith in Keshi and Amunike(until he proves me wrong). Gbam! Confirm! grin

Of course, nobody had faith on coach Siasia on these thread the last time I checked. Including ya humble self na hence the plank....... grin
