Note that in Cross River State, the election was between Hon. Alex Egbona and Sen. Liyel Imoke who sworn never to see Alex win any elections in his LGA of Abi. But today, leadership's of the LGA has been redefined as Hon. Alex has demystify Sen. Imoke, daring him all the way, inspirte of all the war chest of the former Governor, including the incumbent governor appointing 40 SA special adviser from the Ekureku ward of Abi in the build up to the re run, Dr Alex Egbuna defeated everyone in Abi.
