Car TalkRe: How Reliable Is Kia? by Frankies(m): 11:56am On Oct 26, 2007
Siena:
The current Kia's are not bad cars at all.

I ran a Kia Rio 1.6 as a lease car for 4 years, with NO reliability issues at all. I drive my cars hard too.

All I replaced in the 4 years I had it was the catalytic converter, which developed an annoying rattle in it's 4th year, at 83,000 miles.

My sister also had the same car, but a 1.3 for 6 years, nothing was replaced in that time, apart from both front tyres.

Kia are a lot better than people give them credit for, a lot of folk are comparing them to Toyota, Nissan or Honda! How do you compare a relatively new make, to the above mentioned 3 that have been in production for over 30 years?

In terms of fuel economy, have you done a back-to-back test? Crash resistance, you say the Toyota's better, but how have you worked that out? Just by looking at the body, or the fact the Kia's small and light?
Siena, let me let you know that a friend of mine was accidentantly hit at a junction. The KIA RIO car somersaulted wit the kids and the woman inside. fortunately nobody died . The impact was very much on the body.

Unlike toyota that can withstand such impact and the parts are like buying a satcher of pure water on the street. Available and cheap.

The only advantage of kia is that it is a new car but a good fairly used is above match for it.
Car TalkRe: How Reliable Is Kia? by Frankies(m): 4:03pm On Oct 25, 2007
I think I prefer a good fairly used toyota product for instance camry 99 or 2000 to new kia rio despite the fact they are of the same price.

Toyota is much more fuel conservative than kia. Still heavier than Kia product which is always too light and cannot withstand heavy impact on the body.

Kia does not have second hand value and cannot be reasonable after two years of usage.

I can cont to give more reasons but I rest my case here.
AutosAutomatic Or Manual Vehicle, Which Is Better by Frankies(op): 3:56pm On Oct 25, 2007
Can someone tell me which is better between manual and automatic cars.

But at least it is worthy to note that manual vehicles are gradually being phased out. We seem to have more of automatics now. Note also that automatic vehicles are much more costly than manual.

Waitin for your reactions

I am one of those that hate those operas but believe it or not .

I am becoming too addictive to it. I am too helpless trying not to follow it because before they start , I position myself infront of the telly already waiting for the prog.

Cant just believe that.

Just have to be frank to you

Presently, you think you really love her. But I am assuring you that once you get off her for some time and maybe mix with people, you must discover that she does not really worth all that stress.

Subsequently, you will discover that you have more of your studies to contend with than trying to secure a life patner at this very young age.

This is a very interesting thing  to do. Being with my wife at the labour room will be lovely. Though I still have some reservations.

All the same, I think it will be a great thing to do.

Christianity EtcRe: I Find Church Services Boring by Frankies(m): 11:34am On Jul 30, 2007
Being a catholic and knowing what is obtainable in the church, I don't find the church service boring in anyway.

When you concentrate on the mass going on, Believe me, all the aspect of the mass is so interesting that you can't afford to miss anyone.

Each one seems to have its blessings and protection from God.

Even when I did not tell my wife, my take- home- pay, I must, I repeat, I must know her own exact amount in all aspect of knowing that
RomanceRe: Should Your Wife Know How Much You Earn? by Frankies(m): 10:34am On Jul 17, 2007
I Will not specifically disclose to my wife, how much I earn but to some extent she will know my financial capability.

I think I have an advantage on this issue, in the sense that I know how to cry about not having money even when I know I have enough. That is a good way to make her reduce her demands and at the same time value anything you provide for her.

I have to be plain as usual on this issue.

RomanceRe: Keeping Secrets in a Relationship by Frankies(m): 11:50am On Jun 06, 2007
Let's not deceive ourselves. We can exchange secrets with our patners but that does not mean that there should not be some elements of secrecy in the relationship.

My partner is so transparent to me but no matter what I do, I still hunt her with what she told me previously. I know she did it out of love but there should be a limit to your past lives esp. But if there is any issue going on while you are together. the partner must know of it.

I must confess I love open mind in my relationship. Honesty and transparency.
RomanceRe: How Can A Man Get A Woman's Phone Number? by Frankies(m): 11:10am On Jun 06, 2007
Girls give me their number with no stress. I can get it anytime I want.

But I have a weakness. I hardly value a girl that I got her number so easily(Within minutes or even within an hour). I have tried to correct this impression. No way yet.

Well, I keep on trying.

Remember my last post and the cheapness of a girl if you get her number so fast.
RomanceRe: Is it Possible For a Lady to Date Just One Man? by Frankies(m): 10:12am On Jun 06, 2007
@ Bebe

I don't think the poster was wrong. From experience, I know some girls whose hobby is to jump from one guy and they were tellin me that another name for men is '' GET THEIR MONEY''

So don't be rude.
RomanceRe: Is it Possible For a Lady to Date Just One Man? by Frankies(m): 10:04am On Jun 06, 2007
I still believe that once you show a girl that you care for her and ready to be there for her, They seem to be much more faithful despite the fact they always have the tendency to date more than one Man.

Personally,I believe it is very possible cos a woman that wants to hold herself, will perfectly do that no matter the negative urge.
RomanceRe: She Gave Me Her Number. Is She Cheap? by Frankies(op): 3:13pm On May 19, 2007
Very much funny that my comments really generated a lot of issues in here.

Well, well, well, the girl in question did not give me a fake number as some are already insinuating.
Just that everything was so fast that even, I, being a smart one couldn;t help wondering.

Furthermore, She seems to be lovely to be with. SO FAR, SO GOOD WITH HER.

She said that she found something so amazing in me that she sees herself being too helpless from the day she set her eyes on me.
Still trying to accept her cos I have a lot of interesting ones around me but yet to know which of them is real

For those of you who thought that I did not know what I was asking or wanted to confirm, why not go to top of third mainland bridge and have a look under the bridge without holding the handrail. Because I have come to realise that what you lost in your foolishness , you greatly gained in your stupidity.

But to the ones that were not ''foul-mouthed'' ,Please don't get me wrong.

Out of here as of now, got a flight to catch in the next two hours.

Not that I don't want it that fucking way, Just that there should be a little bit of resistance from her. You know we guys value them when a bit hard to get.

More response please cos I am already having this feeling that she does so everyother guy.

Same day and same night. very funny
RomanceShe Gave Me Her Number. Is She Cheap? by Frankies(op): 7:15am On May 09, 2007
She Looks Cheap!

I met a girl at a place, within hours of meeting her , I got her number. She even assured me that I can call her even around 2am of the night I met her. Doesn't she look cheap. I mean considering the fact that we met the same day and she permitting me to call her same night at 2am or anytime I feel like.

I am already taking her as being so cheap. What do you think?
