Neetah005:How urgent is this discussion that you can't ask here so that other knowledgeable individuals can also make their own input. It will also help applicants in the same situation learn from the advices given and utilize them in their various applications. If the discussion is confidential, you may reach out to me via my signature. It will end in praise. |
zill001:I'm aware of that boss. Meanwhile at first you don't need to pay any fee to secure an admission into the School. It will end in praise |
Tonyodg:Under normal conditions before the COVID-19 pandemic, Biometrics can be completed in any country with VAC. It has got nothing to do with applicant's home country provided the applicant already filled the details of their home country in the VISA application to Canada. You may also provide me the link you're referring to okay. It will end in praise |
Chibzee2:UBC and Centennial College waives application fees. It will end in praise |
milkytins:Then you ought to be super fast with your plans. More so, do your best to include an upfront medicals so as to speed up the application process. Although you might still face some delays in processing of your visa due to biometrics enrollment, as VAC are yet to reopen. It will end in praise |
Jermaineayo:You can do biometrics in any country, it mustn't be in your home country. If Ghana can grant you entry into their country, you can complete it there. It will end in praise |
milkytins:You've very limited time to file for your VISA application in view of the current processing times which have been increased to 8 weeks now. Since you're waiting for a decison to made on your admission at TRU in the upcoming weeks, your best bet is to defer your acceptance to Winter as this will give you ample time to prepare and package your application tightly. It will end in praise |
Godsblessings:You can submit either of the two (statement of account or Mybank Statement with ticket ID and password). Most often if the Visa officer has concerns that the SOA submitted with an application is fraudulent. They usually request for the MyBank Statement which will enable them have access to the transactions carried out in the account for a period of 1 year. Note: the visa officers don't have the ability to know your actual available balance after the date MyBank statement was generated by the bank. It will end in praise |
Lekiboboe:Its very perfect to use the regular SOA which carries the total debit, total credit and available balance in the account. It is true that not all commercial banks in Nigeria issue the Ticket ID and Password. The applicant will have no issue using the normal SOA provided that its genuine. The visa officer will still go ahead to verify the authenticity of the bank statement by sending an email across to the head office of the bank. It will end in praise. |
Sirromey:You can still apply for your VISA since Fall lectures will be held online. Having said that, the application shouldn't exceed this week. It will end in praise. |
Sirromey:This question has been answered in the previous page. IS IRCC STILL PROCESSING PAPER APPLICATIONS? It will end in praise |
Tonyodg:Bro, that's the new development on this thread, constant repetitive questions and answers which kept on derailing the thread over and over again. I'm even surprised answering the same questions repeatedly LOL .Back in those days (in the previous threads), when newbies will always be redirected to read the past threads before attempting to ask questions that are unclear to them. I continually keep on advising prospective applicant's that for them to be well versed in this Canada Immigration process and be able to outgrow me, they need to keep on reading relentlessly. You will agree with me when I tell you that over and over, people do ask me on countless occasions how I'm able to gather this knowledge thus far. And, In my capacity, I am able to let them know that my existence on this thread made it possible for me and with the assistance from some of the relevant search engines too. There is no magic elsewhere. Information is the key that unlocks every doors and a single piece of information, a single idea at the right time, can change one's life in the right situation. Everyone have within them, right now, deep reserves of potential and ability that, if properly harnessed and channeled, will enable them to accomplish extraordinary things for themselves. Frankly speaking, i would urge newbies to try as much as possible to gather information from their personal research and on the process that they require any clarity or guidance, they should feel free to ask their questions here without hesitation. If we continue this act of constant repetition of questions, We might not be achieving the purpose of this thread. This is because the platform will be filled with already answered enquires with no new information to learn and digest from it. Thank you all and I would be looking forward to a better reformation from the newbies. It will end in praise. |
jubrilx:It should be sent before the online visa application and also attach the MyBank statement which bears the Ticket ID and password with your application. This will enable the visa gain free access to your account and be able to confirm its authenticity. It will end in praise |
Brownie1003:When did you finish from the University? Do you have huge study gaps?, it will be difficult to convince the visa officer that you're a bonafide student since you're going for a program that is not reasonable in light with your current employment. What led you to apply for a program that is related to your first degree instead of your current employment? Both may be perceived as a logical progression. Though your career will be more solid and convincing to the VO. Yes you need a detailed reference letter for any visa application to Canada to prove that you're in gainful employment in your home country. Your response to the above questions will determine my advice on what you're expected to do to better your chances of approval. It will end in praise. |
Foski01:I reiterate you DON'T have to sign any of the IMM forms including the family information form. After filling the details of your family, date, save and upload the form into the required section on your MyCIC account. It will end in praise. |
SetZ:IRCC will not be attending to any paper applications until further notice. This is an unprecedented period for paper route applicants who find themselves in this situation. You can only be hopeful and committed to the process by waiting until activities returns back to its normal prompt fashion. It will end in praise. |
cuteesthy:VFS office have re-opened for the past three (3) weeks now for Australia, and South Africa at Manor Hall Lekki, Lagos. Nonetheless, the Canada VFS haven't resumed operation and currently not welcoming any visitors into the application centre. It will end in praise |
NairaLuck: NairaLuck:If you have trusted and reliable person in Canada you can send them this money to clear the payment on your behalf. Nigerian ATM cards are restricted to only $500 for international payments/transactions since the COVID-19 pandemic started. I think you should save yourself the stress because it is an unachievable task using your Naira Card. It will end in praise |
Foski01:You don't need to sign any of the IMM forms for online application. Upon uploading of documents into their various columns, you will be prompted to use your name to electronically sign and transmit the application to IRCC for due visa processing. It will end in praise |
websta:A simple google search will answer this question perfectly without taking your time to type and wait for someone to answer this question for you. Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate are the same thing, there is no difference. Colleges are institutions that offers practical based programs and vocational tranining that can be applied in a particular area of specialization. Universities are tertiary institutions that offers courses at the undergraduate and post graduate level as well as doctorate level (Bachelor's degree, Post graduate diploma, Master's and Phd). It will end in praise |
chichi93:You shouldn't panic okay, the visa officer is reviewing your medical result from the panel physician in order to ascertain that you won't be a risk to the Citizens of Canada. Should the visa officer have any concerns about your medical result, they might request you to redo the medicals. Meanwhile, this may occur on a rare occasion. Most likely you will pass the medicals in the long run. It will end in praise. |
oma22:Exactly! You got it right. It could be that IRCC is making sure that documents are in order while waiting for biometrics to be completed. Though this can rarely happen for study permit applications. For Express Entry, AIPP and PNP's applicants (Permanent Residency), biometrics and medical request often comes at the same time. Applicants of these programs don't see it as a positive sign as it's a normal procedure by IRCC which doesn't influence the discretion of the visa officer on the application. It will end in praise |
MyRace:New monikers you guys don't cease to amuse me . You're trying to make something out of nothing. No one is attacking your post or trying to find loopholes in them. However, your standpoint purportedly shows that you're very certain about what you're saying, albeit you're wrong. The attachment put forward by you is simply stating that the Canadian government is expanding its biometrics collection program. It doesn't in no way state that they began biometrics collection in December 2018. In the previous years since 2013 every new application whether new or old must have to redo their biometrics before IRCC can start processing the application. As at 31st of July, 2018, the system of biometrics being valid for a decade (10 years) was then incrementally expanded and full implemented. Thus second time/previously denied applicants will not have to redo their biometrics again. It wasn't like this in the previous years. For your information, Biometrics enrollment have been in place for more than seven (7) years now in 2013. This is in an effort to enhance the integrity of the Canadian immigration system, the federal government began collecting biometric data from foreign nationals of specific countries applying for temporary residence. The problem we have is that everyone wants to be at the top, no one is ready to learn from the history. A simple google search could have helped you rather than making justifications to a fallacious facts. WHEN DID CANADA START COLLECTION OF BIOMETRICS FROM FOREIGN NATIONALS. You can also check the previous threads, part 8, 9, 10. Applicants go for biometrics prior to an application is deemed complete for due visa processing. Please note that I'm not in competition with anyone here as you claimed. Before I counter any post on this thread, I must be very definite about it. I don't do a guess work here. You're very free and open to give your suggestions on this thread. I'm not stopping you from doing that. With that being said, I can't watch you give a falsifying claims for others to rely upon it. I will not debate further on this topic as it will totally be irrelevant arguing with a new moniker who just registered his account two months ago. It will end in praise. |
MyRace:The bolded statement is a false claim and misleading information. Biometrics have been in use for visa applications to Canada for more than five (5) years now since my existence and experiences on this process. Since you claim everything you said is verifiable on IRCC website. Please provide me the link on this account. Thank you! It will end in praise |
Obanidavid:Fantastic! This is almost an extraordinary achievement and 1 out of 100 applications will get a medical request amidst COVID-19 visa processing update from IRCC. Please if you don't mind, can you share a screenshot so as to quench the doubtful thoughts of others. It will end in praise |
Nwannediutor: MyRace:Guys! Don't feel super excited about the recent update. Please be advised that there are various stages every application undergoes once they have been received by IRCC. The R10 check is the first step - it is at this stage the immigration case analyst goes through the entire supporting documents including the IMM forms to be sure the applicant properly filled the forms accurately and afterwards they move on to initiate a request for biometrics. The Immigration Case Analyst is responsible for updating of medical records while the main immigration officer (VO) waits for your biometrics details to be received prior to start processing the application proper. Biometrics is a very important and plays a pivotal part in the Canadian immigration policy. Also, without Biometrics the CBSA can't process/carry out background checks on applicant. I hope this information is helpful to everyone waiting to undergo their biometrics. It will end in praise. |
Mobi22:Visa officers are not custodians of knowledge, you don't allow them to assume on your behalf. You've a better opportunity of convincing the visa officer that your intentions are bonafide by stating the worth of the property you're leaving back home and what you intend to do with it (i.e establishing a medical health centre) in the long-term. Do not allow what people say and doom yourself into secret misery. Do well to include it and provide explanations to back up your claims. It will end in praise. |
Adeolab100:Are you looking for affordable fees, please check Lithunia, Hungary or Estonia, these european countries tuition fees are below 1.5M and their visa process is not as stringent as Canada Study Visa. For more information on how you can emigrate successfully to these countries, you explore their individual threads on Nairaland. I hope this information helps. It will end in praise |
dommakavelli:You have made your point and provided links which doesn't substantiate your standpoint on the subject matter. As earlier said, it's the discretion of the applicant to follow the path that best suits her situation. We are both intellectually inclined people. Let's move on to other pressing discussions boss! It will end in praise |
Skymoore1004:With due respect Sir, I'm not announcing my achievements neither am I feeling superior to others because I'm in position of somewhat wealth of knowledge about the Canadian visa process. Please be advised that all the informations I have until this present time on several immigration programs/pathways to Canada were gotten from the experiences I have enjoyed overtime on this platform and my involvement in other reputable windows. I think you might have a wrong perspective towards my tone of responses as I was merely trying to convey my first-hand experiences on some of the applications I have practically involved myself within and outside of this thread. It's not a boastfully display of my abilities or accomplishments. Do you know that if you don't have an enviable past experiences, you can't be able to run and lead others? This is because people are always looking up to individuals with the rare experience that can advise them properly on the right thing to do and better their chances of approval. I'm thy humble servant to command anytime anyday. So don't misunderstand my modus operandi as I'm not promoting myself in anyway. As always, It will end in praise. |
Didijide:Please do you mean 140 pages or 1,400 pages??. 1,400 pages is too much to be compressed to 4MB. I would suggest you request for the electronic copy of the statements from your sponsor's bank. Alternatively, print only the 3 months history of your Sponsor's statement, skip some pages and only upload pages with huge financial record. It will end in praise |
cuteesthy:IRCC are currently not processing any paper applications (study visa or work permit) until further notice. Hence why you haven't gotten any update from IRCC. It will end in praise. |
