Raymondrain:Have you been instructed to complete a medical exam prior to the biometrics validity date? If No, I am afraid a decision has already been made on your application. |
gatsbym4:Even though the company will be transferring the funds to your account, they must also provide their bank statement to evidence the source of the funds. Otherwise the visa officer will label it as a lump sum deposit which you intentionally borrowed from someone for the purpose of securing your TRV. I recapitulate your dad should be your prime sponsor while the company stand as a co-sponsor and transfer the required funds to your bank account to demonstrate their eagerness and commitment to finance your studies abroad. I hope you heed to my advice and make the most of it. Best of luck with your application. |
gatsbym4:Don't be confused dude. You stand a better chance of securing a TRV if your dad is the prime sponsor to your visa application while the company or uncle represent as an auxiliary sponsor. Please check my previous POST on how you can convince the visa officer that you're a bonafide applicant and will depart Canada after your visit. Best of luck. |
042viber12:Sure bro! You can |
DanXplore:You have a good IELTS band score. Please go for a remark, there is likelihood that your writing score will increase on the long run. Best of luck |
Pinky16:First and Foremost, I will start by congratulating you on your achievement (a funding from your proposed university) With reference to your questions, find the below answers; Question 1: Yes, you do need a fresh SOP for your visa application in view of the fact that the SOP you submitted during your application for admission didn't cover up some vital points which the visa officer would want to see when reading through your letter. Due to this, Your SOP must be coherent, concise, and should reflect the following points: Paragraph 1: Describe your academic background briefly. Paragraph 2: The program of choice. Paragraph 3: Why the school in Canada. Paragraph 4: Why you choose Canada not Nigeria Paragraph 5: Financial support, how you intend to finance your studies in Canada without working. Paragraph 6: Future goals and prospects, What you intend to achieve at the end of the program and how it might benefit you and translated to your home country in the near future. Paragraph 7: Home ties, what can compel your departure after authorized visit to Canada. Question 2: Aside your funding worth 18.780 CAD per annum from the University, you are ought to provide additional proof of financial support for yourself and any of your accompanying family members i.e 3KCAD for dependant child and 4KCAD for dependant adult as shown on IRCC official website. More so, have some funds left for your flight itinerary and other expenses. Question 3: Is your husband the bonafide owner of his firm? The call certificate as well as his CAC registration certificate will stand-in as his company documents. Since it's two different applications merged as one, you will pay for your self and your husband at same time. The picture size is the normal 2 by 2 passport photograph. All you need to do, is walk into any of the business centers close to your locality and request for a visa passport photograph and it will be given to you. The passport photograph must be in white background. Question 4: Pay stubs are also known as pay slips. Most established organizations, use them to pay their employees at the end of every month. If you have any, you can as well include them with your application in evidence to your personal financial establishment. As regards to the IRCC documents, the list of the forms will be generated on your behalf based on the answers you provide when filling the online study permit questionnaire. I hope the above answers your questions. Best of Luck! |
Raheembisi:I regret to hear your study visa application was rejected based on the few reasons highlighted by the visa officer on the attachment. It's nice to see that you've taken bold steps by ordering your GCMS notes so as to have a clearer insight on what actually went wrong with your previous refused application. In the absence of the note, you may check this POST, while working towards submitting your next application. By the way, why PGD program instead of a direct Master's program? It shall end in praises in your reapplication. |
nonipeter:The biggest hurdle you've to overcome is securing a TRV for yourself as you will have to explain conscientiously with evidence, what you've been doing since you left secondary school (2010) until now, why you've not attained any post-secondary education and why you think you're a suitable applicant for the program you're accepted in and your plans to graduate with high grades considering your huge study gaps. In respect to your admission, this would be the least of your worries because you're very likely to get an acceptance offer from the school. |
gatsbym4:It won't be feasible for a small company in Nigeria to sponsor an applicant to study abroad given the visa officer requirement for a high influx of funds into sponsor's account statement over the past few months and not a modest income. Applicants that have made use of highly established companies with huge bank statement figures still get rejected on the basis of financial insufficiency, I wonder how you will pull through with a small company. I suggest you use a close relative which could be (father, mother, siblings, aunt or uncle) as prime proof of sponsorship whilst, the company come in as the auxiliary sponsor to your application. With regard to the aforementioned, the company should have in excess the total amount of your first year tuition and living expenses in the account. |
zsuby:Yes, if the passport is submitted at the same place where biometrics was done, then its free. If not, I think you'll have to pay 13k or there about for passport transmission. |
Eedric:Eedric, It may interest you to know that several folks on this window have secured their Visas without having to travel out from the shores of their home country. Therefore, you don't obligatorily need to travel to another country in light of acquiring a travel history before applying for a Canadian study visa. |
Eedric:There are no set out procedures for admission deferment. Simply write to your proposed university admission office requesting your admission be deferred to the next available term. If you're deferring your admission as a result that your study permit application was rejected, make sure you attach your refusal letter to the mail. Once there is available space for the term, the institution will issue you a fresh acceptance letter. |
sammyfrance23:Why second degree instead of a master's or PGD/C to demonstrate a logical progression.? |
nonipeter:Which of the Canada's DLI are you applying to? You sound like a high school diploma holder (WAEC Certification). As a result, What the Canadian institution meant by Final Secondary (High) School Academic Transcript (mark statement) is a copy of the applicant online WAEC result and scratch card. After a careful review of the application, a proof of offical high school diploma certificate (scanned original copy of WAEC RESULT) to be sent via email will suffice. For this reason, you don't need to contact your high school requesting for a transcript to be sent to your proposed university in Canada. |
Twins20:Welcome to thread, You can start by searching for samples of graduate studies computer science SOP's through the internet. By so doing also try to avoid plagiarism. Additionally, MUN will not reject your application for admission on the basis that you're a fresh graduate and haven't acquired any relevant working experience in your chosen field of study. |
imade1:Hello Imade1, Are you in a hurry to submit this application? If so, I am sorry I may not be able to assist in vetting this letter as there are so many letters plied-up from prospective applicants which I am yet to review. You may want to transfer this letter to other knowledgeable individuals here to help you with it. I hope you understand my situation. I strongly apologize for any inconveniences this might cause you. Thanks for your understanding! |
harveygordon:Your friend should go for a direct Master's program rather than a second degree as this will be his sporting chance of securing a Canadian study visa. More so, it will be very difficult for him as an international student to toil for 20hrs/week (as imposed by IRCC for every int'l students) and save enough to cater for his tuition fees and living expenses while schooling in Canada. He will certainly require the assistance of his guardian/sponsor for financial support especially his exorbitant int'l tuition fees. |
Olashile147:University of Saskatchewan Dalhousie University University of Western Ontario Ryerson University Queen's University University of Manitoba and University of Victoria |
Cestmoi1:Its not mandatory that you must have a sponsor prior to applying for a Canadian study visa. You can be a self-sponsored applicant provided that you've adequate funds for the entire duration of stay in Canada which includes your tuition and living expenses. |
hardeholar1:You don't need to notarize your degree certificate and transcripts. Yes! Affidavit of support and landed property documents that doesn't bear an official stamp or signature can be notarized at the notary public. |
Ormohlawlah:It will not be a red flag for a mom to leave her 5 years old child behind. She can state in her SOP that while she is away for studies, her mother-in-law will take the responsibility to look after her child until her return to Nigeria. With that said, this is simply to prove to the visa officer that she has sufficient ties to her home country and will depart at the end of her authorized visit. When she finally gets her TRV approved, she can possibly apply for a TRV so the child can accompany her to Canada. Consequentially, this approach may not work for a mother with a 2 year old baby because the child is a toddler and will absolutely require motherly care and attention, hence why I recommended she apply together with the baby and provide sufficient proof of financial support for the child as well as adequate ties that can compel their return home after authorized stay. |
Omonoba1981:USASK MASTER'S OF NURSING PROGRAM |
teefinix:Hello Madam, You can apply for your study permit along side with your family provided you have adequate funds to cater for their stay while in Canada. You can't travel to Canada for a 2 years Master's program and leave a 2yr old baby behind in Nigeria. The visa officer will certainly question your intent to study in Canada considering the baby is a toddler and will require your mother care at this early stage in life and sometimes to be breast feed. Who will do all of these when you're away? You can show adequate funds for their stay as Dependent child cost 3KCAD for each of your kids, while your (spouse) dependent adult cost 4KCAD. In summary, try as much as you can to gather the list of these DOCUMENTS FROM A SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT FOR A FAMILY APPLICATION. Feel free to ask questions and I will provide clarity to your concerns. |
@Henkubert, Have you received any staggering response concerning your long awaited application? I remember you were complaining some time last year that you were sent medical request and since then you've not gotten any update from IRCC. What about now? |
kooolkunlex:Hello kooolkunlex, No one can actually tell about your Visa or admission chances at this point in time. Do the needful by sending your official transcript to MUN so as to finalize your application. |
gatsbym4:Hello gatsbym4, Please crop out your SOP from your post. Your SOP tell a lot about you in the presence of the visa officer. Hence, shouldn't be pasted on a faceless public forum like this. You can PM any knowledgeable persons on this thread to assist you in vetting and making possible correction(s) where applicable rather than pasting it here and risk your write up being plagiarized by someone else. |
nonipeter:You welcome always. Best of luck in your application. |
Omonoba1981:Yes majority of schools in Canada require application fees. Only on a rare occurrence will schools like university of Saskatchewan and some others waive application fees on behalf of the applicant. |
hardeholar1:Documents that are meant to be notarized are documents that doesn't bear an official stamp or signature. Supposing your documents have this, you don't necessarily need to notarize them. |
TrustAllah:I understand your pain @ TrustAllah,. I don't think the above approach will be the best. The applicant in question came in search of counsel from knowledgeable individuals because he is not too sure of the dangers behind involving himself into such kind of sharp practices coupled with what his friend had told him. If he had kept this within himself like so many others did, who knows he might end up applying for his visa with the purported fraudulent document and would have been labeled inadmissible to Canada for a period of five (5) years. I believe he will put the advice I gave to him into good use and submit a genuine application. Let's always try to assist people and give answers to their questions especially at this moment when they are not sure of the right step to follow. Thanks! |
Samolala2019:I'm glad you find the information useful. I'll be in touch with you soon. Thanks |
